“Jasmine is the best! She took care of our two cats for the weekend. She was super responsive, sent adorable pictures, and gave us detailed updates about each visit. One of our cats was being difficult and Jasmine did an amazing job trying all the strategies we could think of and communicating with us every step of the way. She truly went above and beyond!”

“Highly recommend. Abigail was very knowledgeable and thorough, from our meet-n-greet, through the 10 days of caring for our kitties while we were away. The cats clearly loved her because they would follow her around the house every visit! She did an amazing job managing their care, and also took great care of our plants.”

About: I am an active 20 something animal loving gal. Throughout college, I dog walked and house sat very regularly. Now I take on more long term house sitting gigs, but I am open to new drop in/dog walking clients. I am comfortable and have experience with all indoor animals (big and small) and some outdoor critters (think chickens, goats, etc.). I have familiar and comfortable with the needs of puppies and older dogs, I have experience taking care of both. Currently, I work part time so I an free throughout the day to visit your furry friends while you’re at work. Additionally, I don’t have many responsibilities at home (no fur babies or kiddos), so I have a generally flexible schedule for housesitting. I am comfortable caring for animals with any kind of needs. I am adamant about clear communication with owners to understand how to best care of their fur babies and keep them safe. I reciprocate this communication when caring for your fur babies and try my best to stay in regular contact with owners.

“Ivi was great. They were very communicative with me and attentive to my two cats. My very shy kitty even came out and interacted a bit with Ivi - which I think is a clear indication of Ivi's gentleness and kind efforts with her. It was very nice knowing both my girls were in good hands with Ivi!”

“Carol watched our two cats while we were away for a long weekend. She was extremely responsive and provided us with regular updates of our visits. One of our cats was being very timid and hiding during her visits, and she was able to track him down so we knew he was alright. We could barely tell that anyone had been in the apartment when we returned and both cats were happy and well-fed. We would definitely recommend Carol to anyone looking for a pet-sitter in the area!”

“Emily did a wonderful job with our special needs cat, Dakota. Dakota is paralyzed in the back after having been hit by a car years ago. He gets around ok dragging his back legs but he has to have his bladder expressed three times a day. Emily had experience doing this in the past (I think in some kind of vet assistant capacity or something like that) and successfully managed Dakota when we went out of town for a few days. Dakota stayed at Emily's house with her cats and it all worked out fine. Emily's house is so cat friendly with cat climbing things all around and Emily even mentioned that down the road she might have cat grass (that our cat loves to eat) since she grows it herself. We were also happy that Emily was fine with us leaving all Dakota's regular collection of favorite things: his little cat house, cat bed, and even the ramp we made for him to climb up on couches. It was so nice for us to think of Dakota in a friendly home rather than in a cage at the vet. We loved how Emily was great about communicating both in terms of photos showing Dakota was doing well and also asking intelligent questions to make sure the expressing of the bladder was going well. When we picked Dakota up, he was in fine shape and clearly had been well-taken-care of. We'll definitely use Emily again!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - South Deerfield
Prices are estimates per day for 1 dog. Pricing may vary based on your search and includes a booking fee of 11%.
About: Parents Jessica and Philip are the responsible adults guaranteeing that your dog will get everything they need, but 13-year-old Josie is the primary caretaker of our dog guests. She is a very attentive, loving and engaged pet pal! Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.
“We can't say enough good things about our dog walker! Otis was taken such good care of. He absolutely loved his walks and especially playing ball. She even cleaned him up after he got a little muddy and brushed him to make sure his fur didn't mat. We're so grateful for her excellent care and attention to detail!”

“We had a last minute booking and Gabby was so accommodating. She updated us with photos and I think Honey had the best day with her. Our plans ran late and again she accommodated with no problems. Highly recommend.”

About: Our family dog just moved out with my daughter, so my grandpuppy 😂. Thankfully he comes to stay regularly for extended visits! Most of my photos are of him, truly spoiled & loved. I live in a townhouse that is surrounded by woods and has close proximity to walking trails. You can provide a crate if needed for boarding. About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. We are happy to come feed kitties and water plants. We love taking dogs out on walks and caring for them in our home. We love going on long walks mid day out in nature
“Erica was so awesome! We had a reunion event in Easthampton which required someone to watch our fur baby while we were out and about. Erica was great to communicate with and was so kind to help coordinate drop off and pick up for our pup to make the logistics easier. We loved seeing the Rover card with all the pupdates and great pics. Most importantly, we knew Sugar was in good hands and we could enjoy our event stress-free. We’d definitely recommend Erica any time!”

“We're very happy with Xianshu. He took care of Shah very well, went for a couple of walks with the dog, and sent us plenty of pictures. We left a happy pup, and we got back a happy pup. We highly recommend Xianshu for your dog.”

“I am so happy to have found Emma. My two sweet but somewhat anxious dogs were immediately at ease in her lovely space. Her calm, confident energy is just what we were all looking for in a caregiver. Emma was easy to communicate with and very professional. I look forward to working with her again!”

About: **Accept cats boarding only.** I had been taking care of the stray cats in my neighborhood and have two cow cats of my own (currently are not in the apartment). I also have experiences of sitting doggies - love walking with them in the fresh air! I have plenty of toys and abundant times to play or just be around them throughout the day. I am good observer for their behaviors and health conditions; I will always be there when furry friends need me. 💓💓 I spend most of the day at home so that I have flexible time with lovely kitties/doggies. I am able to follow their regular routines and make sure that they are feeling home here. If I left the house for an hour or two during the day, there’s always enough food and fresh water for them. 💓💓 I live in a spacious 2b2b where they can have fun running and playing around. It’s on the top floor with elevators and floor-to-ceiling window in the living room. I found that kitties/doggies love laying in the sun near the window. 🐶 There’s an acrylic, warm playpen for small/medium doggies to sleep in. Of course, I would love to have them sleep with me in bed if they want. :) 🐱 There are cat towers, scratchers, and toys everywhere in the house for cats to explore around. Litter boxes are located in several corners at home too. There’s walk-in closet, cabinets, and beds for shy fellows to hide, without worrying about being in enclosed small place. 💓💓💓
“We have loved working with Tricia! Very flexible, understanding, and affordable. She went the extra mile for our senior dog. Can’t wait to book the next visit for our dog!”
About: I am a lifelong dog person with a large fenced yard and miles of trails out my back dog. A tired dog is a happy dog. Unless I am traveling myself I am extremely flexible and available. I will let you know if I will need to spend more than a few hours away from your pet before booking a stay. I think it’s important for pets to keep to their normal routine while their people are away. A little extra attention and affection also helps ease the stress of separation. I have a pretty mellow disposition and enjoy cuddling with a furry friend while reading or watching a show.

About: I grew up having dogs and cats and taking care of them. Now that I don’t have any pets of my own, I’d love to care for someone else’s! I have dog sat for all kinds of dogs and always enjoyed the time spent with them. I currently work as a full time teacher, so I have time for pet care in the evenings most days of the week and even weekends. I care for pets by trying to understand what they need and giving them lots of love and attention. I am also fit enough to lift a dog if needed.
“Dan is the dog whisperer we were hoping for!! He was prompt and very flexible! He was so great with pepper and we’re thrilled to have found such a sweet new friend for her!! Thanks Dan!!”

“Anna is super sweet and very communicative! She helped out walking my dog very last minute which I so appreciate. Would definitely recommend her and will absolutely be using her again in the future :)”

About: I have lots of experience house/pet sitting and can provide multiple references. I love all animals and will dedicate time to making them feel comfortable with me. I am currently unemployed - looking to fill tons of time with pet care! If you need someone for a longer job or last minute help, let me know! I spend lots of time with the pets I watch and I am happy to provide any specific needs: dietary, scheduling, playtime quirks! Very committed to keeping your pup or cat happy.
“Abigail took such great care of my pup Norma!! I reached out to her for a last minute care need. She responded very promptly and even made extra time in her schedule to squeeze in a meet and greet before walking and feeding Norma later that day. Abigail was very thorough in both asking questions about Norma’s needs and following through with all that we discussed. Norma is also a nervous, hyperactive pup and Abigail did a great job building rapport with her. She is very responsible and takes her job seriously. I will definitely be reaching out to Abigail again in the future—highly recommend her!”

About: With 25+ years of pet care experience, including 15 years as a vet tech, I treat each animal as I would my own. I enjoy getting to know clients and their companion animals. I feel it is important for pets to have someone familiar taking care of them while their people are away. For this reason, I will usually ask to set up a meet and greet prior to the first booking. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience with small mammals (e.g. gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits), exotics (e.g. lizards, turtles, birds), and farm animals (e.g. chickens, horses, cows, sheep, goats). Whether exercising exuberant young animals, entertaining indoor cats, or just keeping them company so they don't miss you [as much], I'm there to be another one of their people! I look forward to meeting your animal companion(s) and learning more about their routine and requirements to keep them happy & healthy while you are away. You can expect to receive updates including photos while they are in my care. Drop-in visits and house sitting generally available 7 days (between 8AM-8PM) and 7 nights/week. I offer dog walking but not are occurring service on week end days, though available some weekends. My own yard is unfenced; I offer leashed walks and potty breaks in yard and/or on nearby trails. Due to respect for my 3 cats, I do not offer doggy day care or sitting in my home across the board. I have made exceptions for cat-friendly and low-key critters in the past. Find it generally works best to care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where I keep their regular routine going to the best of my ability.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my strong background in animal care and hands-on experience with a variety of animals. As a junior at UMass Amherst studying Biology Pre-Med and Animal Science Pre-Vet, I’ve worked with both household pets and larger farm animals, giving me a well-rounded understanding of their needs. I have experience administering medications, monitoring for signs of illness, and caring for both young and senior pets who require extra attention. I’ve worked at PetSmart as a Pets Hotel Associate, where I have cared for over one thousand different dogs and sixty cats. My academic knowledge and real-world experience allow me to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care for every pet I watch. I am currently on summer break and am looking forward to taking care of your furry friends these next few months before I go back to working as a full-time student at UMass Amherst. I care for your pets in your home by carefully following your instructions and paying close attention to their body language and behavior. Since animals can’t communicate with words, their movements and behavior are key to understanding their needs and comfort levels. I make sure to respect their boundaries and respond appropriately, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I’ve had pets since I was about 4 years old, and am experienced with caring for cats and dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. Depending on the care required, I will feed pets, give them meds, take them outside, play games/fetch/etc., brush them, empty litter boxes and so on. I have had several cats and dogs of my own and cared for many more, so I am comfortable with adjusting to their different personality types.

“We started using Bree just over a week ago and she has been terrific! You can tell right away that she has a special bond with animals. She has been very responsive and dependable and has taken Bella on wonderful long walks in the woods and has added on backyard ball tossing. Bells is very happy to see her!”

“Iví follows directions perfectly, communicates clearly, and is incredibly gentle and patient with our dog. It’s obvious they truly love and care about animals, and we feel confident and secure knowing our girlie is in such capable, kind hands!”

“Smaller dog was being defensive first time meeting her (Cozy is cautious around new people). Sky was extremely patient with her and did a great job working with her. By the end of the walk, Cozy was bringing her toys to play with. Great job overall.”

“Anna has been walking my dog,Obi, for a couple of weeks now and he already feels very comfortable with her. She sends photos of every walk and I can tell Obi is relaxed. I've been very relieved to have found a patient and caring walker for my boy. Thank you, Anna! Zach and I appreciate you!”

I make sure to keep your space tidy; laundry, dishes, vacuum, take in mail, take out trash. I want your home to be a safe haven, with nothing to tend to when you return. I am a wonderful companion, and I ensure your pet is happy, clean, fed, with lots of love and playtime. I always respect body language and boundaries, for everyone’s comfort. Animals love me! Whether they enjoy playing ball or love walks, or snuggles on the couch, I want to make sure your fur-babies are content. I look forward to meeting you ☺️🐶🐾 I provide pet care full time, and I love what I do! I began working at a doggy daycare in 2025. My shifts are Tuesday 12:30-6:30pm, Wednesday 1-6:30pm, and Friday 1-6:30pm. Please ensure your dog is okay at home for this time during the week. Some of my clients opt to have a neighbor by for a potty break, but it works for many dogs that I go right there, let them out and feed them. My main focus is providing care for animals by overnight house sitting, drop-by care, or dog walking. There may be a small travel fee added for houses outside my service area. My house sitting is very in demand, so please book early for best availability! Thank you! I will go over your regular routines for your furry family member, and chat about keeping your pet safe. I love a harness for walks, I’m familiar with gentle leads, and I carefully supervise backyard playtime. Wood trails are great for walks and I always keep a close eye to make sure your pet is not getting into any mischief! I have a good eye for ticks. I exercise the utmost caution when walking on the street, keeping alert for traffic or other hazards. I carefully assess dogs we may meet to ensure safety and distance, with skills I’ve learned working at a doggy daycare. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. Your best friend is in good hands with me!
