About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. About: I have always loved and lived with pets. Growing up we had multiple cats and a dog or two at any given time. In high school, I convinced my mom to foster a litter of kittens for our local humane society and we ended up caring for litters and kittens and puppies as well as seniors and sickly dogs for years to come. Right out of college I adopted my cat, and she has been my constant companion ever since. A decade later I rescued a very reactive dog and worked for 5 years on his reactivity. We made great improvements together! If you need someone to walk your reactive dog during the day, I’m your gal! I’d also love to care for your chill, non-reactive dog when you go out of town. I have a very active toddler, so I can only board dogs who are reliably safe around small children. I am available Monday-Thursday from 9-3 for drop ins and dog walks, with some flexible availability on the weekends too. Available for boarding as well this winter I have a large fenced portion of my back yard, as well as easy access to the bike path. We have some baby gates in our house, and more in storage, if that makes sense to make your pets comfortable.

“Emily did a wonderful job with our special needs cat, Dakota. Dakota is paralyzed in the back after having been hit by a car years ago. He gets around ok dragging his back legs but he has to have his bladder expressed three times a day. Emily had experience doing this in the past (I think in some kind of vet assistant capacity or something like that) and successfully managed Dakota when we went out of town for a few days. Dakota stayed at Emily's house with her cats and it all worked out fine. Emily's house is so cat friendly with cat climbing things all around and Emily even mentioned that down the road she might have cat grass (that our cat loves to eat) since she grows it herself. We were also happy that Emily was fine with us leaving all Dakota's regular collection of favorite things: his little cat house, cat bed, and even the ramp we made for him to climb up on couches. It was so nice for us to think of Dakota in a friendly home rather than in a cage at the vet. We loved how Emily was great about communicating both in terms of photos showing Dakota was doing well and also asking intelligent questions to make sure the expressing of the bladder was going well. When we picked Dakota up, he was in fine shape and clearly had been well-taken-care of. We'll definitely use Emily again!”

About: Parents Jessica and Philip are the responsible adults guaranteeing that your dog will get everything they need, but 13-year-old Josie is the primary caretaker of our dog guests. She is a very attentive, loving and engaged pet pal! Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.

About: **Accept cats boarding only.** I had been taking care of the stray cats in my neighborhood and have two cow cats of my own (currently are not in the apartment). I also have experiences of sitting doggies - love walking with them in the fresh air! I have plenty of toys and abundant times to play or just be around them throughout the day. I am good observer for their behaviors and health conditions; I will always be there when furry friends need me. 💓💓 I spend most of the day at home so that I have flexible time with lovely kitties/doggies. I am able to follow their regular routines and make sure that they are feeling home here. If I left the house for an hour or two during the day, there’s always enough food and fresh water for them. 💓💓 I live in a spacious 2b2b where they can have fun running and playing around. It’s on the top floor with elevators and floor-to-ceiling window in the living room. I found that kitties/doggies love laying in the sun near the window. 🐶 There’s an acrylic, warm playpen for small/medium doggies to sleep in. Of course, I would love to have them sleep with me in bed if they want. :) 🐱 There are cat towers, scratchers, and toys everywhere in the house for cats to explore around. Litter boxes are located in several corners at home too. There’s walk-in closet, cabinets, and beds for shy fellows to hide, without worrying about being in enclosed small place. 💓💓💓

About: Hi! As you can see, I'm not charging a lot (I set it to the minimum for Rover which is $15).... The main reason I am doing this is to get a playmate for my energetic Boston. He is very well behaved and friendly but needs dogs around to play with while I work. I am very safe with my dogs and make sure they are getting along and happy. I have a nice fenced-in area.... I only want to take care of dogs that will want to play with my dog for the day:). Overnights an option but for now, just offering day care on here. thanks! I work full-time from home, or if I goto my solo office, I would take the dogs. (Office is pet friendly and it's not far from my home) I am very good with dogs and have had them a long time. About: I grew up having dogs and cats and taking care of them. Now that I don’t have any pets of my own, I’d love to care for someone else’s! About: I’ve had pets since I was about 4 years old, and am experienced with caring for cats and dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. I am committed to providing reliable, attentive care and treating every animal as if they were my own. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a priority to follow their usual routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. During drop-in visits, I ensure pets have fresh water, are fed according to instructions, receive plenty of attention and playtime, and have any other needs met. On walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and making sure each dog gets the activity level they need. I treat every pet and home with respect and care, and I always keep owners updated with photos and messages.
About: Hi, I’m Jaclyn! I’ve always been an animal lover. I have taken care of family, friends, and coworkers pets for over 15 years, and consistently pet sitting since 2020. My experience ranges from cats and kittens, senior dogs and puppies, to rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, ferrets, mice, rats, fish, and even tropical frogs. My shifts are Tuesday 12:30-6:30pm, Wednesday 1-6:30pm, and Friday 1-6:30pm. Please ensure your dog is okay at home for this time during the week. Some of my clients opt to have a neighbor by for a potty break, but it works for many dogs that I go right there, let them out and feed them. My main focus is providing care for animals by overnight house sitting, drop-by care, or dog walking. There may be a small travel fee added for houses outside my service area. My house sitting is very in demand, so please book early for best availability! Thank you! I will go over your regular routines for your furry family member, and chat about keeping your pet safe. I love a harness for walks, I’m familiar with gentle leads, and I carefully supervise backyard playtime. Wood trails are great for walks and I always keep a close eye to make sure your pet is not getting into any mischief! I have a good eye for ticks. I exercise the utmost caution when walking on the street, keeping alert for traffic or other hazards. I carefully assess dogs we may meet to ensure safety and distance, with skills I’ve learned working at a doggy daycare. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. About: I have lived with and taken care of at least two dogs of various sizes my entire life. Over the past few years I have dog sat and dog walked the pets of family/friends. Some of which had special accommodations such as meds or a strict schedule which was no problem at all! I love spending time with animals so let me bring my care and love to your pets to make your life easier! I am a recent college graduate looking for a full time job at the moment. Until I find that position, my schedule is as open as it needs to be to take good care of any pets. For my own pets, I share responsibility of all the basic needs of a pet; feeding, walking, giving attention, letting them out for the bathroom, etc.. For the pets of my client I provide all of those necessary services myself. I can dedicate any needed time and effort to ensure that the pet stays safe, healthy and active.
About: I took care of dogs growing up, and now dogs are part of my family. My children have also grown up with dogs, helping with training, feeding, brushing, bathing, and playing with our dog. I am a middle school teacher who is home with my family during the summer. My 10 year old son and I are available to welcome your dog into our family life during the summer weeks and on weekends during the school year. We have a large yard with a stream and conservation land behind our house. We enjoy walks in the woods, running around and playing catch in the yard with dogs who stay with us. About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. We are happy to come feed kitties and water plants. We love taking dogs out on walks and caring for them in our home. We love going on long walks mid day out in nature

About: I have always loved and lived with pets. Growing up we had multiple cats and a dog or two at any given time. In high school, I convinced my mom to foster a litter of kittens for our local humane society and we ended up caring for litters and kittens and puppies as well as seniors and sickly dogs for years to come. Right out of college I adopted my cat, and she has been my constant companion ever since. A decade later I rescued a very reactive dog and worked for 5 years on his reactivity. We made great improvements together! If you need someone to walk your reactive dog during the day, I’m your gal! I’d also love to care for your chill, non-reactive dog when you go out of town. I have a very active toddler, so I can only board dogs who are reliably safe around small children. I am available Monday-Thursday from 9-3 for drop ins and dog walks, with some flexible availability on the weekends too. Available for boarding as well this winter I have a large fenced portion of my back yard, as well as easy access to the bike path. We have some baby gates in our house, and more in storage, if that makes sense to make your pets comfortable.
