About: I have been taking care of dogs since the beginning of high school. I have dogsat for family and friends, and friends of them as well. They have relied on me to feed, walk, and stay with their pets when they are away. I’m currently a full time teacher that works from 7 am - 2:30 pm Mon-Fri, but I can be available weekdays after 2:30 pm and on most weekends! I make sure to leave the place the way I entered it. About: I have loved dogs since I can remember—I used to read dog encyclopedias as a kid! My own dog and sidekick, Miguel, is a cute rescue with a pronounced underbite. About: I have cared for dogs since I got my first puppy when I was 12 years old. Since then I have volunteered for several years at a wolfdog sanctuary. When I worked at Hawaii Volcano National Park I volunteered to walk the Park hunting dogs and clean their enclosure several times a week. A have dog sat for a very elderly,infirm English mastiff that could no longer stand on its own. I am very experienced in getting puppers to take medication. I have done house/dog sat for up to a month at a time for 2 dogs and 3 cats, making sure they are all fed and entertained. I absolutely adore animals, but particularly love dogs. As you can imagine yes they can certainly be a handful but I couldnt imagine my life without them. Each and everyone being on a schedule of their own which is always never a problem.
About: As a child, I owned almost every pet imaginable - from house cats to Rottweilers to lizards to ferrets! Bless my poor mother's heart - we practically had a small zoo at our house! As an adult I owned a cat for 5 years and also "dog /cat sat" for friends and families many times. I'm an all-around animal lover who is comfortable with many different types of pet care. I'm a stay-at-home mom with a four year old. Please be advised that if I pet-sit overnight at your home, my daughter will most likely be accompanying me for at least part of the job assignment. If you aren’t comfortable having well-behaved, well-supervised children at your home, then unfortunately I’m not a good fit your you. I have plenty of flexibility on both weekdays and weekends to provide care for your pets. I live in a pet-friendly house with a fenced-in back yard. The neighborhood is quiet and safe for walks. I also have access to a nearby park.
