About: Since I was a child I have had pets in my life. I am an animal lover of all types. I have cared for fish, hamsters, gerbals, cats, dogs, even reptiles. I have helped family and friends with there pets, and have a good sense of how to undertand whatvthey need. I can bath, groom, give haircuts, and feed them if and when needed. I am willing to open my home to assist families in need. I do have a full.time job, but also have family who are all wonderful and willing to help where it is needed. I am the main care taker, I make sure to work my schedule around the best interest of the pet I am caring for. Your pet will never truly be alone. I have a fenced in yard, I have a friendly chihuahua and a playful, lovable cat. About: On my third birthday, a litter of puppies was born in on my kitchen floor. Best present ever! There have always been dogs in my life ever since. I've learned a great deal from them. I can't imagine my life without dogs. As a result, I have an expansive knowledge of dog breeds, training, psychology, and an ever-growing love of animals and understanding of their needs. I have even whelped a litter of puppies on my own. And in 2020, dog walking was how I paid the bills. The anxiety of having someone new care for your fur baby is something I have also suffered from. About: I've loved and cared for dogs for most of my life, and currently have a Chihuahua mix named Chico and a cat named Frankie. I'm a good-hearted and easygoing person excited to spend my free time with some lovable pooches! Chico is an 11-year-old rescue, who loves ice cream and burying himself in blankets. About: I love animals of all types, I have 3 dogs myself and have animals my whole life. I used to volunteer at a humane society. I believe in trying to give animals the best life possible. I try not to make direct eye contact with dog at first, will call out their name, keep calm body language and let the dog come to me. I may change how I go about getting to know a dog depending on its personality!

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a kid, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. I’m heading to UMass to study Animal Science and hope to join the National Guard to gain EOD bomb-sniffing dog experience. I currently own a high-energy Border Collie/Australian Kelpie mix I rescued, and I’ve also cared for an elderly Shih Tzu who needed lots of special attention and patience. I’m very work-oriented, reliable, and people have told me I’m great with customer service. Neighbors, friends, and family often count on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets, and I truly love every moment of it. As a full-time student, I’ve built a schedule that gives me plenty of time for pet care. I also work at a doggy daycare in Avon, CT, so my work schedule usually varies throughout the week. I’m happy to communicate my availability ahead of time and work with each pet parent to find a schedule that works best for everyone. I’m generally more flexible on days I’m not working and can often accommodate evenings and weekends. I treat every pet like they’re my own and want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. Working at a doggy daycare has given me experience handling dogs with all different personalities, energy levels, ages, and needs. I’m attentive to their body language and routines and always make sure they get the appropriate amount of exercise, attention, rest, food, and potty breaks. I also understand that every dog is different, so I’m happy to follow each pet’s specific routine and their owner’s instructions.
About: It’s so hard to be away from your pup but having friends come in to visit and play makes the day feel not so long. I have had dogs my whole life. I just love their individual personalities. I typically work Monday through Friday and can pop in for an early morning visit and breakfast or stop by for a longer visit and dinner after work. My schedule is flexible so running over midway is possible if necessary. Weekends are generally wide open. I would like to work with you to meet your needs. I have 2 pups and 3 cats at home that love extra attention, playing and quiet snuggles. Nice long walks or a trip to the dog park could be a fun adventure. For cats, some scratches along the jaw line or kitty fishing can be an engaging way to interact.
About: I have experience taking care of pets with varying attachment styles - ranging from anxious, young dogs to elderly, affectionate cats who need lots of attention! I am very adaptable and can match a pet's energy levels well. I appreciate taking the time to get to know a pet in order to build a comfortable bond. I am a local graduate student, I mostly have classes in the mornings during the week and currently have limited responsibilities outside of school, so I have lots of time to dedicate to pet care. I like to learn pets' physical boundaries, so I ease into how I approach playing and petting with them. When I have cared for anxious pets who experience separation anxiety when away from their owners, I focus my care on maintaining a calm environment in the home while making sure they are fed and hydrated.
About: My first responsibility I had as a 4 year old was feeding our family dog, Shannon. Since then, I not only helped feed, walk and care for my own pets, but have helped others as well. Whether it was classroom fish, or boisterous double-dog walks, I always love making a pet's day brighter. I take pets' well-being seriously and like to do all I can to make your pet feel at home and worry-free in your absence. I have experience administering oral medication and injections.
