Full time kitty connoisseur!
I’ve been raised with cats for my entire life. My old gal, Shylo, has lived with feline dementia for around 5 years. She’s almost 15 and doing great! I’ve had her since she was less than 1 year and we’ve truly seen each other at our highest and lowest. Her feeding and medication schedule has been managed by me and taught me a lot about the patience that comes with elderly cats. My kitten, Isotope, is nearly 1. He came into my life when he was 8 weeks old with an injury that required amputation. I loved him with 4 legs and I love him with 3. His recovery was demanding but I would move mountains for my little guy. There was a huge adjustment period with how he is able to play compared to a typical cat, but he’s the most rambunctious fella you’ll ever meet!

My priority is your cat’s comfort in their own home. If they want to hide, that’s fine by me! If they want to play, I’ve got the energy to match them! Respecting the owner and the animal’s space is always at the forefront of my mind when it comes to animal care.

Alexis was absolutely wonderful with Cookie and Creamy! 🥹 She sent tons of updates throughout my trip, and her notes were always so funny, sweet, and detailed! I genuinely looked forward to reading them every day. Seeing how comfortable and happy the girls were with her made it so much easier for me to relax and enjoy my trip without worrying about them. I also really appreciated that Alexis didn’t just stop by to take care of the basics. She made sure to actually spend time with Cookie and Creamy so they had company and weren’t alone, which meant so much to me. She also took great care of my home and was incredibly respectful of the property. You can tell she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after, and I felt completely comfortable having Cookie and Creamy in her care. I would absolutely hire Alexis again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, attentive, trustworthy, and thoughtful pet sitter! ❤️🐱🐱
This was our first time using rover for our 2 little loves and we are so impressed with Alexis! She pays close attention to details, including lots of feeding and medical instructions. Alexis is trustworthy, personable, punctual and a responsible caregiver. Thank you Alexis, we will definitely see you again!
Alexis was great to work with! she did everything as i instructed and provided detailed reports on what happened during the visits.
Alexis was amazing with our cat Monty while we were away. We so appreciated the care and attention she gave, as well as the daily updates after her check-ins. We could tell the moment we met her that she really does love animals, and we knew our little guy would get the same love and attention during visits that she gives to her own! She is kind, respectful, trustworthy, and a little bit hilarious (we seriously loved her commentary about our Monty’s antics on our Rover Cards). Already booked her for our next trip!

Schedule
After my retirement from the military, I work from home doing freelance digital analytics. Since I’m home every day, my kitten receives the pampering of a lifetime. My hours are also completely adjustable since I’m a freelancer, so any time of day would be great for me to check in on your furry friend!
- CatsAlexis can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- Please let me know the general energy levels of your pet before booking! I am disabled myself post military service and admittedly cannot run the way I used to. Your pet’s needs come first!
