About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and just recently welcomed two cats into my family. I have been babysitting and nannying for as long as I can remember which would often lead to taking care of their four legged family members as well. I’ve assisted in potty training and with my own pets helped apply and give medications. I am someone who is reliable and trustworthy. I know how much my pets mean to me and have always treated any animals in my care as if they were my own. Right now I am off for the summer and because I work in a school am off on holidays and weekends. Once school starts again in August a typical work day is 7am-3pm. Throughout my years of working with families came a lot of house sitting and pet sitting for them and their friends. I am always respect of other peoples homes and am more than happy to take in mail/packages and take care of plants. I will always take care of your pets like they are my own. I am reliable and communicative.

About: I have loved dogs and pets for as long as I can remember! Growing up, my home was always filled with multiple dogs, which taught me firsthand how to manage different personalities, energy levels, and care routines. When I left for college, I made the heartbreaking but responsible choice to rehome my dogs with amazing families. I knew that with my intense school schedule, I wouldn’t have the time, energy, or availability they truly deserved. To me, a pet's well-being always comes first. Now that my schedule is open and stable, I am eager to get back to working with animals! I am using this time to gain even more hands-on experience before I am ready to adopt a dog of my own again. By booking with me, your pet will get my full, undivided attention, lots of love, and the highest level of responsible care. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I recently graduated from college and have a few completely open months this summer before starting my full time career in September! Because of this, my schedule is incredibly open, flexible, and completely open for pet care. My personal daily routine revolves around fitness, going to the gym, and staying as active as possible. I absolutely love going on long, frequent walks, so looping your dog into my daily routine is a perfect match! Whether your dog needs high energy outdoor exercise, frequent potty breaks, or just consistent companionship throughout the day, I have the full time, energy, and capacity to dedicate to them. Your pet will be my top priority all summer long! Your pet will enjoy a safe, secure, and incredibly peaceful stay at my house! We have a completely fenced in yard with absolutely no other resident pets, giving your dog full reign of the space. There are also no neighboring dogs sharing our fence line, making it the perfect, stress free environment for pups who get easily anxious or reactive.I live with my mom and my 15 year old sister, both of whom love animals and will occasionally be around to offer extra head scratches and love. Because it is a calm, predictable household, your pet will get highly focused attention and a structured routine tailored exactly to their needs. When caring for your pet in your home, I treat your property with the utmost respect, care, and consideration. I am exceptionally neat, organized, and mindful of your space. You can travel with total peace of mind knowing that I will not only keep your pets happy and safe, but I will also make sure to leave your home cleaner and better than I found it.
“This is the 2nd time Le'Andra took care of my cat Gabby while I was out of town She did a great job! I plan to request Le'Andra again in the future and would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”
“Jill was able to watch my dog last minute for a weekend away! She did a great job with her and asked questions right away if she had any concerns. She was also amazing with my anxious dog and helped with making her feel comfortable. She sent lots of pics which helped my anxiety as well 😊”

About: I have taken care of animals for 15 years and I am very passionate about making animals feel safe, comfortable and loved. I grew up with both cats and dogs and so I am able to take care of both. From pugs, mastiffs, labradors, to cats, I can do it all. I give medication, deep-clean litter boxes, play with you pets and overall make sure your pet feels at ease while you’re away. I am currently a full time employee that works nights (5p-2a), and so I have a lot of free time during the day to take care of your pet. I always get up early to make sure I’m taking care of me and my cat’s needs and am able to extend that care to your animals as well. When I do a drop-in visit, I always do a sweep around the main areas of the house to ensure that everything is in order. For dogs, my main priority is to take them out, check their water bowl and play with them to make sure they have the care they need for the day. For cats, I will always check their litter boxes to see if it needs any scooping, I will also check their food and water bowls and fill them up if needed. Like dogs, I will respect their boundaries and play with them to ensure they’re comfortable.
“I am grateful for Mimi who took excellent care of my cat while I was traveling. She provided regular updates, sent photos, and ensured my cat was well-fed, happy, and comfortable.”

“Molly is an excellent caretaker, who has provider me with multiple services while having company in from out of town or when I am traveling myself. I definitely recommend for house-sitting or drop-in visits for cats or dogs”

“This is the 2nd time we’ve booked Alex to care for our 2 kitties. She is very friendly and reliable. She commented daily with us sending pictures each time each time. We will definitely use her again!”

About: While my experience is mostly with seniors, I love and have experience with all age ranges. I've also cared for dogs that have had some medical issues and am super attentive to all my fur babies. I currently work full-time, but my hours are extremely flexible. I am in office Thurs-Sun, but my work day can end anywhere between 8am & 3pm. If I have pets in my home, I do provide a bed, feeding bowls, snacks, toys, and a lot of affection. I have a private park across the street as well as a fenced in backyard, depending on what the needs are. I am also located near Bushnell Park in case some extra running around is needed. I am good at giving medicine, if need be.
About: Growing up I’ve had either a dog , cat , fish & a bird. Once I had all four at once ! My love for my fur family grew with my age & now I’m extending the love from my fur family to yours ! <3 I currently work a part time meaning I have plenty of time to spend time with your fur family ! That could be cuddles , walks , meals & just chill time I’m there ! My services happen in your home to ensure you the most secure & trusting environment for not only you but also your fur family! <3

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Hartford
Jillian is truly exceptional! She is caring, diligent, and utterly professional in every way. Her communication was thorough and reassuring throughout, and she followed our feeding and cleaning routines to the letter without ever needing a reminder. What really sets her apart, though, is how engaged and attentive she was with my cat, Ralphie. She didn't just show up and go through the motions. She genuinely connected with him. He adores her, and honestly, that's the best endorsement I could ask for. If you want someone who will treat your cat like family, Jillian is the sitter to book. Highly, highly recommend!

Brittany was fantastic! She kept me updated with photos and texts during each visit, followed my cat’s feeding instructions exactly, and my cat was clearly comfortable with her. Made it so easy to relax while I was away. Would book Brittany again without hesitation

Haoran was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to take care of our cats. I truly can not thank her enough. Not only was so great at communicating, she was so understanding of our situation with our rescue cats. She also cleaned more then she had too/more then what we ever expected. I can not say enough how nice it was to come home to a clean house and cats that were happy and healthy and to be stress free about it while away. 😭❤️

Jill did a fantastic job taking care of my cats. She was very professional, attentive to any requests as well as the special needs of my youngest and treated my kiddos with love and care every day, including the days when the elevator gave out in my apartment complex. I was initially concerned about a sitter because my eldest is very skittish around strangers due to previous bad experiences with others, but I was surprised to see that she warmed up to Jill right away. 10/10. If ever I need to have a sitter for my kiddos again, I'll be calling Jill.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
