5. Lauren S.
“Lauren has stayed at my home several times and cared for my cats. They seemed to enjoy having Lauren around. They were well-fed, boxes were clean, and they even cuddled with her. She followed all of my instructions and left my home clean and tidy. Cats are generally easy but to have someone they warm up to is a treasure.”

6. Holly M.

“We were extremely satisfied with Holly M. as our dog sitter during our vacation. The dogs loved all the attention she gave them during the day. They both slept with her and felt very comfortable in the house. She also visited us beforehand to acclimate her with our dogs. We felt this was very important as our dogs were familiar with her before the vacation week. Holly was very respectable of our home and left it just the way we would expect. It was a pleasure using her and we will continue to have her watch our two dogs in the future.”

“There are not enough superlatives to describe our experience with Casey. She takes great care of our dog and our home. Lots of photos and communication. Jake adores her and so do we!!”

11. Abbey B.
“We had the absolute pleasure of having Abbey cared for our home and dog while we were away, and we couldn’t be more grateful. From start to finish, she was incredibly trustworthy, kind, and attentive. Our dog was clearly well-loved and cared for—happy, relaxed, and well-exercised when we returned. It was obvious that Abbey treated our home with the same respect and care as she did our pet. What really stood out was her genuine compassion and thoughtfulness. She kept in touch with regular, heartfelt updates, and we always felt at ease knowing everything was in such good hands. Coming home to a tidy house and a happy pup made all the difference. If you’re looking for someone dependable, caring, and truly invested in both your pet’s well-being and the care of your home, Abbey is the one. We can’t recommend her highly enough!”

When we returned home, our house was in perfect condition and our dog was relaxed and happy. Would absolutely have her pet sit again in the future.”

16. Elora H.
About: I have extensive experience caring for a wide variety of animals, from farm animals to pets. I have been involved in training and caring for dogs, as well as tending to livestock such as chickens and rabbits since I was a child. I have worked at a dog daycare center for four years in Old Saybrook and also gained experience at another facility in Massachusetts. In addition to my work with dogs and cats, I have also cared for rescue farm animals at Bush Hill summer camp, where I helped educate children about animal preservation and nature. I have also provided care for reptiles and birds. Animals are an essential part of my life, and I approach caring for them with deep compassion and understanding. Your animals will be in excellent hands and will receive the same level of love and care as my own pets. For dog boarding I usually work in the morning from 6am to noon.so I feed ny dogs breakfast and let them out fairly early in the morning.i have a lunch break before heading to the dog day care for 1pm to 6pm.within that break I let my dogs out and let them outside for some fesh air.i feed them dinner once I'm home and let then out a few time's before bed.im usually busy on the weekends to take my pups out for hikes in the warmer month's. I have two dogs, one is a couch hog,and the other loves to play with other dogs, both are great when it comes to interacting with people, kids cats and other dog's. We have a large yard but it's not fenced in, luckily we are close to a lot of great hiking trails and only a short drive from my town beach.i live with two other people who love dogs as well and can step in as well when it comes to extra love.overall, old saybrook is a town that is ideal for dogs and people alike.

17. Michelle B.
“I have known Michelle for more than 10 years. She has taken care of our pets, both cats and dogs, whenever we have been away from home. She has always been reliable and followed through with any special requests we’ve made regarding our pets’ care. It’s obvious that she truly enjoys taking care of animals. She has had a particularly close relationship with our Weimaraner (Ziggy) since she was a puppy. Whenever Michelle comes to the house, Ziggy flops on her back and expects a tummy rub from her. I am happy to recommend her and I know she will take excellent care of any pets put in her care.”

18. Binti D.

“Binti was a wonderful sitter for my puggle Ollie. She sent lots of pics and kept me well informed. Will definitely be reaching out to her again. Thank you, Binti!”

19. Olivia B.
“Olivia is a trustworthy, kind young woman. Quick witted and reliable. Her love of animals is apparent, as she is quick to read an animal’s temperament. She has patience and a sense of humor. She loves the littles as much as the big boys, in terms of dogs. As for cats & kittens, she is gentle in her manner, and not intimidated by a strong willed kitty.”

20. Alexandra J.
“Alexandra is a very loving individual who cares about all animals she comes in contact with. Growing up we had dogs and she loved them more than anything else. She is very patient and caring and always puts the animals first. I know she will do a great job taking care of any animal she is asked to caregive for. ”
