“Our son was getting married in upstate NY so we needed a sitter for our dog Kai while we were away. We have always left Kai with either family or friends, but since everyone we knew was attending the wedding I reached out to Laura. We set up a meet and greet -I knew from the first time I met her that she was a perfect match. She was warm and kind - obviously a dog lover - and she made a connection with our normally shy dog right away. She asked a lot of questions about Kai's habits - she wanted to make sure she followed his normal daily routine so that he would be comfortable in her home.. Her house is beautiful and she has a large, fenced in back yard that allowed Kai to run free in a safe environment. Laura took him for a 3 mile daily walk, and sent many pictures and updates the whole 6 days she had him. He became a part of her family❤️ I cannot say enough about how happy we were to have found her. She gave us peace of mind that Kai was well loved and cared for so we were able to enjoy the wedding without any worries. I would HIGHLY recommend Laura to anyone looking for a sitter!!”

About: I am a cat person at heart. I initially started volunteering at my local animal shelter so I could be around cats because I was unable to have a cat of my own due to my family's allergies. Little did I know, this would spawn a lifelong passion for animal care, particularly for cats. About: I’ve had a dog since I was 6 years old, ranging in all different sizes. I find it imperative to treat all dogs as if they were my own. I’m currently a full-time fourth grade teacher who is looking for a part-time job during the week days, weekends and whenever I have a holiday break. Currently I am available for drop in visits or dog walking during the week anytime. I am also free for both of these services at anytime during certain weekends. I have a fenced backyard with two Labrador retriever. They are friendly and always makes me smile! I love taking them on walks, however they are still learning how to walk. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. About: Having cared for 13 dogs and 4 cats (yes, we keep count), we've seen it all. Daily exercise and even bathing is quite familiar to us. Leo has hands-on experience with animal shelters, and I have biological based experience with both nutritional needs and animal anatomy, and we both can provide basic training. We currently have a year-old golden retriever and a tabby! We've dealt with a couple lovable (but difficult) pets and can deal with issues like stubbornness, biting, and basic potty training. We can also provide crate time if needed for safety or comfort, and (given our flexibility) tailor care routines to meet each pet’s needs!

About: I have a close connection with a well-respected, professional dog trainer. I can usually get helpful tips and techniques on short notice, which I have used to successfully train puppies on basic commands (sit, stay, etc). I have 1 cat (2yrs old) who is neutered, indoor, and very shy. I work from home so I spend a lot of time caring for my pet which includes 3 mealtimes, plus play/enrichment time, and relaxing downtime each day. For dog care, I have a small fenced in yard and live in a nice area, so dog walks and outdoor potty breaks are very convenient at most times of day.
