“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. I live in a nice neighborhood with plenty of side streets to walk the pups on! I’m also minutes from the water and i’m right on the shoreline. I also have a large yard to play with the dogs in as well if need be! I currently own a beagle coonhound mix, 2 1/2 years old, a rescue off the streets in Clinton, CT, Gypsy! A bull terrier lab mix, 2 years old, rescued from a high kill shelter in Georgia, Baloo! Me and my boyfriend also own a rescued guinea pig, Jenson! :) I’ve also been training under a groomer of 25+ years for the past year and have experience in the following. We have a large 1.5 acre invisible fenced in yard surrounded by woods and a long front yard away from the road. About: I have been taking care of pets since I was born with my first Golden Retriever “Missy”. My family has had a wide variety of animals from dogs and cats, to hamsters and bunnies, all the way to horses. I am often called on by my fiends to pet sit as I am known as the friend with a surplus of pets. She has a huge, fenced in yard, which is very well gated off and contained. She took the time to get him used to her outdoor area, as well as her home. I was very comfortable knowing he would be safe, and well cared for. During his overnight stay, she texted me several times, with photos and let me know he was doing well. Spencer came home from his visit tired from playing with doggie friends, and well cared for. I have already booked future visits and I highly recommend!”

“I highly recommended Sherry, she’s an angel! She had our Finn finn for 6 days and it was our first time to get a dog sitter. We are a bit uneasy at first coz our dog still needs training. (Not friendly with other humans and dogs he just met) also there’s the barking situation. She’s an angel bcos she was able to gain our dog’s trust at a very short period of time and our dog didn’t give any problem at all. A Complete turnaround to what we were expecting. (Big Sigh of relief ?) We enjoyed our vacation and didn’t even worried about our dog bcos she never fails to update us. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely book her again. P.S we came back to get his crate and our dog was sooo happy to see her and he let her pet him, no sweat.
