Hi there, I'm Britanny! While I've been fortunate to care for countless people in my 15+ years as a nurse, animals have always been the true key to my heart. Some years back I began watching my coworker's pets when they went on vacation and really loved the experience. I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, and have owned many breeds, from Lhasa Apsos, to Yorkies, to our current Golden Retriever named Inara. Our household even includes a pink axolotl named Sushi. I currently work the night shift at the hospital, and my husband works from home, meaning that someone is always here; we feel that makes us perfectly situated to care for animals and offer them the love and attention they need. My family are big animal lovers and on top of pet sitting, have repeatedly fostered animals (often litters) for the Connecticut ASPCA. We have experience with a variety of dog breeds and dog needs, are familiar with popular training methods and are happy to work with you to adhere to the rules and routines your pet is used to at home, in order to make the pet sitting experience fun and stress-free for everyone. We live on an interior, two acre lot with a wide open field, set back from the road and surrounded on most sides by woods. It's a great space for our two active boys and Golden Retriever to run, and wear each other out before snuggling up on the couch for a nap. While there maybe periods of cross over between drop offs, pick ups, and daycare, our goal is to provide a safe, caring environment for your pet during their stay, and to offer you peace of mind that they will be well looked after and treated like family while they vacation with us.

Brittany and her family were wonderful to Enzo. It was a great vacation for him he was well supervised and had a few buddies to play with. We will be happy to leave him there again.
Britanny took care of our 12year old french bulldog Izzy. She was fantastic and we believe Izzy was having fun with the family and other dogs. Britanny took the time to send us pictures while we were away and update us on her stay. We will definitely be booking with Britanny again.

We recently left our dog Jax with Brittany for three days. Each day she sent us a narrative of how he was doing along with several action photos of him having fun. As we do not often leave our dog overnight with a sitter, we really appreciate her efforts. It gives us great peace of mind knowing he is enjoying his stay and being well taken care of. Schedule
I work nights part time, letting me be home for most of the day. My husband works from home and is always here, meaning between the two of us we can assure that your pets will receive plenty of attention, and never need be left alone for long periods of time.

Safety, trust & environment
We live on an interior, 2 acre lot set back from the road. A portion of the property is bordered by a fence, with woods lining most of the rest. Pets can play, supervised, in the field with our Golden Retriever and two young boys. They can be off-leash if they respond well to calls, or tethered to a yard anchor/lead if preferred. We are flexible when it comes to your pet's sleeping arrangement! Every dog is a unique personality, and we want to make sure they're comfortable and happy here by doing what they're used to! If your dog is used to sleeping out, or in beds, we're fine with that as well (our dog often ends up in our bed). Let us know during the meet and greet how and where your dog likes to sleep, and we'll discuss how we can accomodate!

Running around in our large open field, playing with our Golden Retriever, splashing in the kiddie pool on hot summer days, and get lots of attention and pets.
