Availability
I work full time but my job hours are generally flexible! If I know ahead of time I have a scheduled check in or walk, I will offset my work schedule as needed to be able to make it to my appointment.

Safety, trust & environment
I have no intentions of setting up home services as I would like to keep my private life and my side business separate - but I will dutifully look after your fur children in the comfort of your home with drop by visits! :)
Information Sarah Y. would like to know about your pet
I would definitely like to know their nature - if they’re shy or social. I get really excited at the sight of a cute animal (and all doggos and meows are cute!) but if that excitement may overwhelm them, the first visit(s) I would approach more passively to gain their trust first.
A typical day
Depending on the neighborhood the visit will be at, if there was a park nearby, I will gladly walk your pupper to the park and bring a toy too for days that the weather is nice so we can play tug of war outside! I would not let them off leash for other park activities unless requested to do so by their parents that knows best!

Pet care experience
Even though I grew up as an animal lover, I never had any pets until I was 14. It started with one cat my parents took in and now they are at 7 and I have 4 of my own AND two dogs! Both my dogs are at least 30lbs heavier than me but do not let my petite figure fool you! The respect and obedience I quickly managed to develop with them - which I strongly believe I can accomplish with any other dog I will come into working with - is my secret to being able to safely and comfortably walk them to the surprise of everyone we encounter. When it comes to cats - I am the person my friends go to when they need help administering medication because of my fearless nature. I have accepted that cats can be a handful sometimes with sharp claws and I will be ok with small battle scars at the end of the day in exchange for them getting the medication they need.
Reviews

Sarah and her daughter were so great with Momo!

Sarah was a really great petsitter for my finches, I really appreciated her diligence and detailed updates on each visit!

This is the second time we've had Sarah take care of our cats, and we've had nothing but great experiences with her!

Sarah has been taking care of my kitties whenever I’m out of town for the past year, and I couldn’t be happier with her care. She is kind, thoughtful, and attentive, and her notes are always detailed and reassuring. I feel completely at ease knowing my cats are being so well cared for while I’m away. I recommend her 100%!
