Ready to walk!
I have ten years of working in the animal care field from doggie daycares to the veterinary field. I have experience with all ages of pets, from pup (or kitten) to senior citizens (which are my favorite “breed”). I have years of kennel experience and medication administration, so no need to worry if your pet needs extra help! I also have experience watching and medicating “exotic” pets such as ferrets and rabbits. Walking and hiking are my two big hobbies, so your dog will be well exercised under my care. Since I worked in the field for so long, I have connections with both techs and veterinarians if a health issue arises. All in all, I just love animals and love getting the opportunity to hang out with them!

I usually go to peoples homes. I have no issue staying over, but cannot have dogs at my house and prefer to keep the pet in the environment they are used to.
Ratings and reviews
Consistently late to every walk, significant miscommunications. Several chances given, but we will not be rebooking.
Melissa is amazing, incredibly responsive and reliable. My cat loves her and so do I!

My dogs and cats loved Missy! She was very communicative with me, and well-organized with the times of meals and bathroom breaks. She also appreciated each of my dog’s particular quirks! My dogs were totally unstressed and happy when I returned home from my trip.
Had such a great experience with Melissa this weekend! While she had walked Nala in the past, this was the first time she stayed over while we were away. Not surprisingly she took amazing care of Nala and was so attentive, especially with her post-op care, and kept us updated, it truly meant a lot to us. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Nala (and our home!) were in such good hands. We’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, reliable, and trustworthy!

Schedule
Pet sitting is my full time job! I do have a lot of mid day walking clients, but can do cat drop ins and morning and evening walks. I do house sitting also, but need a decent amount of time in advance for requests
