“My colleague recommended Howard to me as “the dog whisperer” and I can’t agree more! I was a little nervous to drop my pup off for daycare less than a week after rescuing her, as she is quite wary of strangers. She jumped right into Howard’s arms and apparently spent the rest of the day happy as can be cuddled on his lap. She came home happy, tired, and ready for dinner & bed! Howard also does a wonderful job of sending updates and photos throughout the day. The first day she went to Howard’s, my pup hadn’t pooped in 2 days and it was something I was worried about. He sent me a text as soon as she went so that I would have peace of mind. She has since been back to Howard’s a few times a week and I can not recommend him more!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 7 years old. For boarding, we have a fenced in yard, plenty of space, and our own dog to keep him company! I’m currently working from home, meaning I will be able to fully commit my time to your pets needs and making sure they have a terrific time with us. I have a fenced in yard, as well as my own dog Yoshi to keep them company. Can crate dogs if crate is provided beforehand.

This is reassuring in case one dog isn't a fan of other dogs or plays rough. Logan is 12 years in age & has slowed down due to a previous leg injury. It was important for me to leave him in a safe, calm space with an attentive, kind person. Mari's home was truly the right place for him! During Logan's visit, Mari kept me updated on how he was doing and sent plenty of cute photos. I really appreciate Mari's kindness with Logan & taking good care of him. About: I have expierence handling dogs of all sizes and breeds. I have always had a love for dogs and after receiving my first pup at the age of 5 I knew I always wanted to be around them. To me a dog is family and I treat them like so. I'm not just a sitter or a walker I'm more of a best friend your dog will always have. My goal is to build a bond with your dog so they trust me. I primarily work from home and make my own schedule which gives me the availability, flexibility and opportunity to manage a weekly routine for pet care. I utilize leashes, dog parks and fenced in yard spaces. I utilize crates provided by the pet parent to ensure a safe and trustworthy environment.

About: What differentiates me from other pet care is that I stay true to the routine of the pets that are under my care. Dogs need a routine to feel calm and safe. Walks, sweets and feeding should be done at the usual time so that the dog feels comfortable and stress is avoided. I make sure to get details and a schedule from the owner to be able to fulfill them as much as possible. The pets' routines are my priority, I take them out to do their basic needs, I feed them, I take them for a walk, they hydrate, they take their nap, I give them lunch, I take them to do their needs, I take them for a walk, I give them their snack, I take them out to do their needs, I take them for a walk, and to sleep until the next day. I keep the area clean, I always change their water, I treat them as if they were my children and I treat the house as if it were my home

I also have experience caring for elderly people, including my own grandmother, which has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of routines. Whether it’s administering medication, giving extra cuddles, or sticking to a strict schedule, I’m all in when it comes to compassionate care. It fits into my daily and weekly schedule because I’m a stay at home dad with a lot of time on my schedule that would enjoy the company of a fur friend around that can keep me busy!! When pets stay in my home, I treat them like part of the family. I make sure they have a cozy spot to relax, stick to their regular routine as much as possible, and give them plenty of love, attention, and playtime. I keep my space clean, safe, and calm so they can feel comfortable, whether they’re staying for a day or a whole week. My goal is to make it feel like a second home for them. Also when taking them out I have a fenced yard as well as a front gate so there’s no running away or escaping on my watch!

About: I have never have a dog on my own but my family has, and I lived very close to my cousins and uncles so I always had the chance to play with their dogs since I was a kid. In summer of 2020 I was hired to take care of a beautiful dog. I would feed her according to the eating schedule her owner let me with, I would take her to a walk, and then I would take her back home to play and rub her belly, I took care of her for several days twice. Also this past month I took care of a puppy for the first time, I never let her side because I know puppies are very curious and playful. I played with her all day, fed her, and I used to carry her in my arms until she fell asleep. And I feel comfortable and ready to improve my skills, to keep doing this and spend time with your pup . I’m currently a full time college student, having full days from Wednesday to Friday and leaving me free from Saturday to Thursday all day to give your babies all the attention and play they need. (You can also check my schedule). I would make sure to be at yours pet's side at every moment, if I have to go to the restroom I would put them in their gate and come as soon as possible. If anything happens I will inform you immediately.
