I’m a lifelong cat mom who absolutely adores cats, and I love extending my care to other cats when their families are away. I want every cat I visit to feel safe, loved and genuinely cared for until their cat parent comes home. I want you to feel completely comfortable while you’re away, so I make communication a big part of every visit. I respond quickly, send plenty of photos, and write a thoughtful summary in every Rover card so you know how your cat is doing. I pay close attention to eating, drinking, litter box habits, mood, and behavior, and I’ll let you know if I notice even a small change. My goal is for you to feel like you’re still connected to your cat while you’re away - and confident that they’re getting loving, attentive care.

My priority is keeping your cat safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. Before care begins, I take time to learn their feeding schedule, habits, personality, favorite hiding spots, and any special instructions. During each visit, I carefully follow instructions for food, water, litter boxes, medications, and the home itself. I always double-check doors, gates, and designated areas before leaving. I also pay close attention to eating, drinking, litter box habits, energy, and behavior and will let you know if I notice anything unusual. As a cat owner myself, I’m very mindful about hygiene between homes. I wear freshly washed clothes for drop-in visits and wash my hands thoroughly before handling your cat. I live locally in my own single-family home near the ocean with my husband, adult son, and our senior cat, Phil. We are a non-smoking family with an active, healthy lifestyle. I work out several times a week, which helps me stay comfortable getting down on the floor, bending, kneeling, playing with cats at their level, and walking harness-trained cats when requested. I understand how much trust it takes to welcome someone into your home and care for a beloved pet, and I want every cat I visit to feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.

Anne was the perfect solution to caring for my cat during a recent 4 day vacation. She not only fed him during the drop-in, but also set up an automatic wet food feeder for later in the evening. She was very punctual each day, and each drop-in visit was followed by more pictures than I could count! She even took my pet out into my totally enclosed backyard space and watered my flowers!
This is the second time we have had Anna take care of our kitties and she is the best! She takes wonderful care of them when we are away. She sends updates and photos every time she visits. She really loves our kitties like her own. So glad we found Anna!

Anna did a great job taking care of my cats, she dropped by my home twice a day to ensure their fed and that the litter was cleaned, and made sure to give them some personal attention too, brushing and petting them. She took pictures of my cats everyday and kept me well updated on them which helped me feel alot less anxious about leaving them for a week. I would def book her again for any future vacations!
Anna is our Simone’s second mom now! She is not only professional but pays close attention to details while sending pics and updates daily. It’s reassuring knowing our cat is so well cared for while we’re away. Having peace of mind is priceless.
Anna cared for our cat Simone like she was a member of the family! She asked pertinent questions regarding our cat to understand exactly what her needs were to offer the best care possible. She’s quite knowledgeable regarding feline behavior and tendencies and followed specific instructions given by us. Anna also sent a daily message with a photo of Simone, which put us at ease, knowing she was in great hands. We just re-booked Simone to stay with Anna and her family during our next trip. It’s reassuring to know she is loved and cared for when we are traveling. Anna is the best!

Schedule
My schedule allows me to offer regular drop-in visits throughout the week, including weekends. I coordinate visit times in advance and do my best to stay close to your cat’s normal routine, while allowing for some flexibility in exact timing. Weekend visit times may occasionally require a little more flexibility, so please let me know in advance if your cat needs care at an exact time. If your cat has medication, feeding, or another time-sensitive need, please let me know before booking so we can make sure the schedule works well. During each visit, I make sure your cat receives attentive, unhurried care and plenty of quality time.

- Before caring for your cat, I like to learn as much as I can about their normal routine, personality, and preferences. Helpful things to know include: • Feeding schedule, treats, and dietary restrictions • Favorite toys, activities, and ways they like to interact • Whether they are social, shy, independent, cuddly, or need extra time to warm up • Medical conditions, medications, recent health changes, or special care needs • Litter box routine and anything unusual I should watch for • Any recent illness, fleas, parasites, or other potentially contagious concerns • Fears, triggers, sensitivities, or a history of biting or scratching • Whether they tend to hide, door-dash, try to escape, or get into things • Areas of the home that are off-limits or need to stay secured The more I know ahead of time, the better I can understand what is normal for your cat and notice if something changes while you’re away. My goal is to keep their routine familiar and help them feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable in their own home.
