About: I rescued my own dog from a shelter, and she required a lot of special training and patience. I worked with her on socialization, leash walking, and reducing pulling and barking around other dogs, and I have successfully helped her improve in all of these areas. Since she was a puppy when I adopted her, I also have experience with the patience, consistency, and care that younger dogs require. In addition, I care for a senior dog, so I am experienced in recognizing when a dog has reached their physical limit during walks and understanding how to adjust care based on their needs. Having experience with both younger and older dogs, as well as both large and small breeds, has taught me how to handle dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and training levels with confidence and care. I am currently in school but there are only three days a week I am completely booked with classes. My Mondays and Fridays and weekends are completely open and would love to spend my free time around more dogs! I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment for pets while they are in my care. Since I live in an apartment, I make sure the space is pet-friendly, secure, and free of anything that could be harmful to animals. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, exercise, and any special instructions from the owner. One of our cats takes time to build trust and sometimes won’t eat for a bit while we’re away. Erin took the time to build a relationship with her and tried a few different things to help her feel comfortable eating for someone new. Erin spent time with all three cats, played with them, and helped them feel comfortable trusting her. We got pictures after every visit, and excellent communication about how they were doing. Our selective eater was coming out of hiding and eating her food consistently much quicker than she has for others who have come to feed them while we were away. About: I've cared for cats all my life. And have had a dog for over 12 years. Also cared for several dogs at once for family so am very familiar with dog language, am less but still very cat fluent as well. My schedule is very fluent albeit a lil unorganized. But I'm relatively free every day, don't work a regular job for that many hours. Would love to fill more of my time with some furry friends. I keep my pet care to a schedule. About: My first “job” was dog sitting when I was in first grade. I included snuggling them every night in my promise to owners, and to this day nothing has changed. I work at the children’s hospital as a pediatric audiology extern from 7:30 am-6 pm every day. I would love to dog walk on weekday evenings and I am available to pet sit and dog walk on weekends. About: I've had dogs all of my life, and created such strong bonds with each one of them. I've always been someone my family and friends can turn to when they leave to care for their pets as I ensure they are not only taken care of, but comfortable and happy as well. She came in twice a day for food, to spend quality time with them and sent a lot of daily photos. Gamma and Delta had a blast, non stop cuddles and a lot of love, also a lot of games and treats, they will miss her! Melanie also helped us with some medication and did an amazing job taking care of our dogs, she left the house spotless, we highly recommend her and will definitely ask for her help in all our future trips!
