About: Hi there! I’m Emily, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 10 years. What started as helping friends and neighbors has grown almost entirely through word of mouth, and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust my clients continue to place in me. Many of the families I work with have been with me for years and regularly recommend me to others. I currently split my time betweenpet sitting and working as a Client Service Coordinator at a veterinary hospital, where I spend my day supporting pets and the people who love them. That experience has made me comfortable caring for pets of different ages, personalities, and routines while reinforcing the importance of clear communication and dependable care. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets. I know every animal is different. Whether your pet is full of energy, a little shy, or happiest sticking to a familiar routine, I take the time to get to know what makes them feel safe and comfortable. Before every new booking, I like to schedule a meet and greet so we can go over your pet’s routine, answer any questions, and make sure everyone feels comfortable. While you’re away, you can expect regular updates, photos, and the peace of mind that your pet is being cared for as if they were my own. Pet care is something I intentionally build into my weekly schedule. I currently work part-time at a veterinary hospital, and with advance notice I’m able to arrange my schedule around bookings to give your pets the time and attention they deserve, making it a priority to keep their routine as consistent as possible. My goal is for your pets to feel comfortable, cared for, and stress-free while you’re away. I believe the best care starts with keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. Before every new booking, I like to schedule a meet and greet so we can go over feeding schedules, walks, medications, favorite activities, and anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable. While you’re away, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection based on their individual needs. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own; keeping things clean, secure, and following any instructions you’ve provided. You’ll receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: Hi there! I am a current post-grad student, who studied Neuroscience and Pre-Med at Boston College. I have a great love for animals and have had both dogs and cats since I was born. I currently have 1 dog and 2 cats of which I am a part-time caretaker (when I’m home in NY)! I would love to help walk your furry friends! I will be home from graduate school from 5/8-5/20 and am open to whatever you need. Please reach out if I can be of assistance! About: I love spending time with all types of dogs- big, small, old, young, lazy, energetic and everything in between. I recently moved back to Connecticut from Colorado and now have a more flexible job that allows me the opportunity to dog sit again. In the past, I’ve cared for dogs for Rover clients as well as friends’ and family members’ pets, and I’m comfortable walking, feeding, bathing, and administering medications as needed. I also love being outdoors and am happy to take your dog on walks or hikes if that’s something you’d like. I have experience training dogs, including my own two, and I understand how important it is to follow your dog’s routine and your expectations. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I am open to working with you to make a schedule that works for both your dog's needs and my work schedule. I work Monday-Friday, with a flexible hour break for going to check on your pet midday if needed. My weekends would be planned to meet the needs of your pet, so you could enjoy your time away with our worry! I’m currently open to caring for pets in both my home and your home. My house is dog-friendly, with an unfenced backyard, and I always prioritize safety and supervision when outside. I do my best to keep each pet comfortable by maintaining their usual routines as closely as possible, while also offering opportunities for enrichment based on their personality and comfort level-whether that’s a walk, hike, visit to a family member’s home, or simply relaxing in a calm environment. I’m very mindful of each pet’s needs and cues, and I’m just as happy giving them space if that’s what helps them feel most at ease. When staying in a client’s home, I’m always respectful of your space and preferences, aiming to keep your pet’s routine consistent while caring for your home with the same level of attention and respect.

About: I currently work a 9-5, M-F but have flexibility early mornings, most nights, and weekends! I grew up with plenty of cats and dogs around me but it wasn’t until I worked at a doggy daycare that I truly realized my love for animals. There I learned dog body language, grooming techniques, best ways to give medications, and a little bit of training. I’d be honored to take care of your fur baby however you need! I work 9-5, M-F but I am happy to make time for you and your animal! Feel free to reach out to me so I can work with your schedule! I have a dog at home but I am happy to watch your pet at your home. I will ask for trigger words for your dog/cat, check in on feeding times to keep their schedule on, and ask for your preferences with your animal as everyone is different.

About: Diasbled Navy Veteran 13years of service so I have a very open schedule now! I will be home the majority of the day with the exception of sunrise or sunset for photography and it’s likely if you are boarding and your dog likes activity I will take them hiking! About: Hi! My name is Marissa and I am a music education graduate student at Central Connecticut State University. I'm hoping to be an elementary school music teacher! I am currently a babysitter, piano teacher, and church organist with some extra time over the summer. I grew up in a home with 3 cats and have always wanted my own dog, but fortunately I have other dogs I take care of! I frequently dog sit for my boss at CCSU (a yellow lab and a catahoula mix) and am hoping to adopt my own husky soon. When I dog sit, I provide in home care and stay with the dogs so I can be there first thing in the morning to let them out. We go for many walks around the neighborhood or in the nearby park!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all types since I was 15 years old. From taking them out for walks, potty breaks, and feedings, to spending time to play, I am willing and able to provide quality care for your pets. I work full time (830am-430pm) but I can care for your pets before or after work as well as weekends. I can be flexible if needed My grandma has a 7 year old Pomeranian/Terrier mix that she took in about 2 years ago. I’ve been helping her care for Maizie by taking her for walks, playing with her, feeding her, and even snuggling for naps!! I will care for your pet as if they were my own.

About: I had dogs throughout my childhood and now have a Labrador Retriever who I couldn’t imagine doing life without. Dogs are family, and I will make sure to give your dog the utmost attention and care and to your specifications. I continue to take my dog to training classes even as an adult dog, and see training as a way of communicating with your dog. About: I try to take parts of Cesar Milan's strategy with dogs specifically. Trying to not reward bad behavior. Making sure a pet can respect my boundaries. Currently have a dog walking client at Winding Brook Condominiums in Meriden. I’m there twice a day for 30 minute walks and play. I bought some balls for her so she can play. Have videos and lots of photos. I work flexible hours as an independent contractor so I make my own schedule. I am building my pet care business so I am signing up for a drone pilots license for pet recovery. I am also working on upgrading my vehicle to a minivan. I am offering pet sitting in your home until that can change to my home. I am needing different things done to my home before I can bring pets to my house.

About: First experience taking care of new pups! i currently have 1 dog of my own along with 3 cats. Very fond of meeting new dogs/cats Currently working twice a week as a college student. I have a lot of availability for taking care of any pets that are in need! I have a complete fenced backyard for my dog as well for my chickens that run around free! Backyard is about 100 feet length long.

About: I rescued my own dog from a shelter, and she required a lot of special training and patience. I worked with her on socialization, leash walking, and reducing pulling and barking around other dogs, and I have successfully helped her improve in all of these areas. Since she was a puppy when I adopted her, I also have experience with the patience, consistency, and care that younger dogs require. In addition, I care for a senior dog, so I am experienced in recognizing when a dog has reached their physical limit during walks and understanding how to adjust care based on their needs. Having experience with both younger and older dogs, as well as both large and small breeds, has taught me how to handle dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and training levels with confidence and care. I am currently in school but there are only three days a week I am completely booked with classes. My Mondays and Fridays and weekends are completely open and would love to spend my free time around more dogs! I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment for pets while they are in my care. Since I live in an apartment, I make sure the space is pet-friendly, secure, and free of anything that could be harmful to animals. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, exercise, and any special instructions from the owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely to help pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I prioritize safety during walks, monitor pets closely around other animals, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, patience, and affection. I also provide updates and communication so owners feel reassured while their pets are in my care.

About: I currently volunteer at an animal shelter and love working with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and demeanors! I also have some basic training experience through my dog trainer, who also specializes in service work and behavioral training. My personal dog, Toffee (basset hound!), lived to be 16, and my favorite time with her was the patient walks and TLC needed as she got older--happy to support your senior animals too:) A couple other tidbits: I have experience working with farm animals (chickens, ducks, goats, and alpacas!) and majored in Environmental Science in college. Looking forward to meeting your furry ones! I balance my full-time job (8:30-4) with pet care through Rover and at the animal shelter. I am happy to work with you to find good times (evenings and weekends included, depending on when). I prefer to meet or provide care at your home, but I also live in a very walkable neighborhood and have a dog park nearby. My house has a fenced-in yard and a sprinkler for the hotter days. While I do not currently have a crate in my personal vehicle, I am happy to get one if you are more comfortable. I also have close friends with dogs and cats if play dates are helpful too!
