Since I work from home, I am able to schedule breaks to take dogs out and go on longer walks (even hikes!). I can board in my house weekdays and weekends.

I have a cat who misses his doggy sister, so he does well with dogs, but he rules the roost! I can crate dogs if needed. I also try to keep my house as non-toxic as possible (chemicals, cleaning supplies, etc) for the health of my pets.

I've been taking care of animals, including horses, since elementary school. I’ve had 3 cats, 4 horses, and 2 dogs throughout my life. I recently lost my dog to cancer, and I’m sure my kitty misses having his best friend around. So if your dog is cat-friendly, I would love to watch them! I currently work from home. Watching a dog for a day, multiple days or scheduling a break to come walk your dog would not be a problem. I’m located close to downtown Wallingford and there are great places to walk (especially with a dog!). I know how to care for all ages of dogs, including the elderly and I have experience giving medications. Requested information about your pet Please let me know the schedule of your fur baby - what time they get walked, what time they are fed, etc. I would like to have your fur baby keep to their schedule as much as possible. Also let me know any little tricks or specifics for your dogs, how long they like to walk, if they like to go out immediately after eating, etc. Please let me know the demeanor of your dog as well - are they aggressive? Get a long with other dogs/cats? Anything else! I want to make sure they receive the best care! :)

We had a great experience with Kristen! She took care of our Ladybug while we were away for a week on vacation. From our initial contact through our dog's stay, her communication was timely and informative. We appreciated the photos she sent and her flexibility when our return flight got delayed. I felt completely comfortable leaving Ladybug in her care, and our baby totally enjoyed the stay with her!
Kristen took great care of my lab/shepard mix! I could tell my dog was happy, well loved, and cared for in my absence. I really loved the photo updates too. I highly recommend Kristen!

This was my first time having someone watch my puppy Starr and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Kristen was great and very accommodating. Starr had a wonderful time as evidenced in the many pictures taken throughout her day. Would definitely recommend her.
