We are experienced in reading animal body language and your pet's safety is our number one priority. Play style is great to know to connect with your dog further, like their favorite toy or game would be important so we can go right into doing your dog's favorite thing with them. Also any mischief that your pet may get into will be good for us to know so we can keep an eye out for it!
Un día normal
To start we'd love to get our first excitement wiggles and pleasantries out of the way, enough to satisfy greetings but not too much to get really worked up. With puppies and active dogs we love to tire them out in the morning so that they will be much calmer and focused through out the day. If the weather is good we love going on walks around the neighborhood, It's great for your dog to expand it's horizons past the walls of your house or fence and it's always a fun option to spice up a walk with a little light training in a safe area as well. If we aren't ready for walks it's always nice to run around in the yard as well and burn off some energy with fetch or just plain old zoomies. Evenings are spent quietly- chewing toys, sitting outside, or getting pets on the couch/pet bed.

Sabrina- I have owned and been around dogs since I was a kid. I've always loved all sorts of animals and knew I always wanted to be involved with them through my life. I did an agricultural science program in high school that specialized in large animals. I graduated UCONN on the main campus with an animal science degree, and I used to work full time at a doggy daycare and boarding facility with Daniel. Daniel- I grew up in a multi-pet household and have loved animals my whole life. I've kept reptiles so be sure I'll be able to care for any kind of animal with special instructions. At the daycare and boarding facility I was trained in group play and in bathing. I was also trained primarily as a pet technician, so I can do single focused plays and administer medicine. We have 2 full years of experience Rover housesitting. We took a break in the middle to move, but we're now a year strong in Seattle! We really love all dog breeds (and cats!), but our favorites if we had to pick are, for Daniel, English Bulldogs and Boxers, and for Sabrina, Boston Terriers and Pugs :)

Always great having them watch our kitties!
We absolutely love the care Sabrina and Daniel provide for our pup! The daily updates and photos are incredible—seriously, they have a gift for capturing Barney’s personality, and it really shows how much they care about him. We’ve referred them to so many of our dog-owner friends, now they’re always booked, which says everything (even if it makes planning trips a bit tricky—ha!). This stay was a little more complex since Barney had a shoulder/front leg injury and needed medication, possibly more, along with restricted activity. Sabrina and Daniel were amazing—keeping us updated every day on how he was doing, whether he was limping, and if anything needed adjusting. We were so relieved to learn he was healing well, and we really appreciated their communication and flexibility in working with us to reduce his meds so he could be back to full health by the time we returned. Also, we’ll admit—we’re slightly (maybe more than slightly!) permissive dog parents. Sabrina and Daniel stepped in and worked with Barney on his walking manners, and we’ve already noticed a big improvement. We’re so grateful for the extra care and effort they put in. We are following up on the training Barney had for 2 weeks! We got this! Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of Barney—we truly appreciate you!
Daniel and Sabrina took great care of our doodle and our house while we were gone. We got awesome pics and updates every day.
Thanks for taking such good care of Clover! Love the updates and photos and being able to rely on Sabrina and Daniel to come into my house when I'm not there.
