Daniel and I have always worked well together and with the two of us working there will always be someone to keep an eye on things. We are experienced in reading animal body language and your pet's safety is our number one priority. We have also been housesitting on Rover for 3 years now, check out the lovely reviews other clients have left for us!
Information Sabrina & Daniel S. would like to know about your pet
Play style is great to know to connect with your dog further, like their favorite toy or game would be important so we can go right into doing your dog's favorite thing with them. Also any mischief that your pet may get into will be good for us to know so we can keep an eye out for it!
A typical day
To start we'd love to get our first excitement wiggles and pleasantries out of the way, enough to satisfy greetings but not too much to get really worked up. With puppies and active dogs we love to tire them out in the morning so that they will be much calmer and focused through out the day. If the weather is good we love going on walks around the neighborhood, It's great for your dog to expand it's horizons past the walls of your house or fence and it's always a fun option to spice up a walk with a little light training in a safe area as well. If we aren't ready for walks it's always nice to run around in the yard as well and burn off some energy with fetch or just plain old zoomies. Evenings are spent quietly- chewing toys, sitting outside, or getting pets on the couch/pet bed.

Pet care experience
Sabrina- I have owned and been around dogs since I was a kid. I've always loved all sorts of animals and knew I always wanted to be involved with them through my life (and I am now!). I did an agricultural science program in high school that specialized in large animals. I graduated UCONN on the main campus with an animal science degree, and I used to work full time at a doggy daycare and boarding facility with Daniel. Now we work together doing Rover housesitting and visits! Daniel- I grew up in a multi-pet household and have loved animals my whole life. I've kept reptiles so be sure I'll be able to care for any kind of animal with special instructions. At the daycare and boarding facility I was trained in group play and in bathing. I was also trained primarily as a pet technician, so I can do single focused plays and administer medicine. Now Sabrina and I get to work together for fully individualized and catered experiences for the pups and cats! We have 3 full years of experience with Rover, housesitting! We are moving back to CT after being on the West Coast. We will be solidly back in CT ready to housesit for October (check our calendar!) We can do in person meet and greets for then for 2 weeks of August 13-August 26th! Thank you! We really love all dog breeds (and cats!), but our favorites if we had to pick are, for Daniel, English Bulldogs and Boxers, and for Sabrina, Boston Terriers and Pugs :)
Reviews

Great job looking after Kona and the house (especially during a more difficult time of year with the fireworks).

Thanks so much! Haha yes he’s a hellion about jumping over the couch 😂

Sabrina and Daniel communicated everything and kept me updated. They took every measure to make it a good stay and work with the dogs to make them comfortable.
Sabrina & Daniel arrived on time at 6:15 AM - they connected with our dogs easily and took great care of them including taking them for a morning walk around the neighborhood- exactly what we needed to fill in until our long term dog sitter could arrive. I would definitely hire them again. Our dogs are a little high maintenance and they did a great job of helping them calm down and feel at ease.
