âGabby was wonderful caring for my reactive dog! She quickly built the trust necessary and knew exactly what to do at every turn. She kept me updated just enough to know all was going well. I came home to a very happy dog! I recommend her highly!â

âDavid P. takes excellent care of Rudy. Rudy looks forward to his visits. I can honestly say it is like leaving your pet with a trusted friend. I have full confidence that even if an emergency should arise David would handle the situation perfectly. Thank you so much David for your excellence service and commitment. The very definition of integrity is doing the right thing in any given situation whether there is a consequence or not. I wholly endorse David.â

âWhitnee took great care of our 2 dogs. She sent us updates and pics. She was so reliable and responsive. She stayed in our home for 6 days and left our home neat and clean. Definitely recommend her.â

About: I have many years of quality animal experience, starting with caring for my own family farm animals when I was small. I quickly grew a passion for animal care - caring, training and competing with a myriad of animal species throughout my teenage years. I routinely provided in-home and on-farm care for local family pets and animals and I learned many valuable skills from basic care to emergency care and wound management and perhaps even more importantly, animal behavior - how to work with an animalâs unique personality and tendencies rather than against it. These skills Iâve used in my adult life as I continued working with animals and in the veterinary medicine field as an assistant. Now, as I continue my education and further my professional life, it is my goal to bring my experience into the lives of pets that need love and care while their owners are away! Iâm currently a student and working part-time, so while I will do my best to be flexible for the needs of your pet, I cannot provide full-time (live-in) care. I can do regular drop-in visits and spend ample time with your furry friend during the week days and weekends. I may occasionally be available for more extensive weekend pet-sitting, so if you need it, feel free to ask and Iâll do my best to accommodate! Help me give your pets the routine they are used to with detailed instructions of how and when you normally care for them! Typically, I prefer to give your pet care every four hours to ensure they are staying busy and quiet while you are away. I can adjust this schedule as needed. I feed and water as needed and determined by you and am able to give medication. I will gladly care for young to senior animals.
âKathryn was so communicative and thoughtful with our pets! Our big dog was being super stubborn due to being on new painkillers while we wait for our surgery date, and Kathryn was so patient and caring with our doggie. Itâs always a good sign when our kitty warms up to her quickly too! Moana cat was in her lap immediately! 5/5 absolutely will recommend and already plan to use again!â

âSarah was AMAZING! Incredibly accommodating. Fantastic, even though last minute. And took care of all FOUR of our fur-babies when we were out of town! Will definitely be using her in the future. Our favorite Rover sitter yet!â

About: Hello there. I have been boarding dogs for over 10 years and have many regular customers. Before that I always had a dog. I am a dog lover that will treat your dog like my own. I have decided not to board dogs and stay at owners home from now on. Also I do dog walking. Safety is my number one priority while dog sitting and dog walking. I also take the dogs for daily walk. You can relax and go on vacation and know your dog is well taken care for. I send updates via text with pictures and videos to my customers so they can be sure their pup is having just as fun during his week as the client is. Looking for a mature, responsible house sitter, that does it all... look no further, send me a text. Look forward to hearing from you! I work another job part time so I am flexible when it comes down to scheduling walks or dog sitting overnight. I only work 20 hours a week I make sure dogs are well fed and get plenty of exercise. I spend at least a half hour with the dogs from drop in visits
âKatherine was great! She was very responsive and always let me know what was going on. Plenty of pictures (I wish Rover would fix the app so you either get the pictures via text or have an easy way to download them as high res from the app itself) and my boys were well taken care of. I think they were a bit disappointed to see me walk in the door tonight instead of Katherine!â
âSara was very prompt, followed all instructions and very kind. She sent pics and updates. She asked questions of anything she was unsure of. One of my dogs requires medication and all went well. Highly recommendâ

âKenzie was amazing! My oldest cat had been recently diagnosed with IBD and is on daily medication. To say he isnât the easiest to pill is an understatement. Kenzie was able to give him his medication without fail and really eased my anxiety about being away! I would highly recommend her to anyone!â

âStephanie was amazing watching my 2 dogs and 4 cats when I was away! She was in constant communication, always sending pictures and did a fantastic job! I definitely trust her and will use her again in the future!â

âWorking with Sabrina was a breeze and she made our time away from home so much easier!! Sheâs very prompt with communication and is incredibly kind- sending updates and pics regularly! She was very patient and sweet with our timid pup which is exactly what he needs. We also had a flight cancellation and Sabrina offered to help us in a crunch which was above and beyond what was expected. Beyond all of this- our house was completely spotless! Which is such a nice way to come home after traveling woes! Highly recommend!! We hope to work with her again! đâ

About: I have had lots of different types of animal experiences since I was a child including always having a cat in the household and volunteering with animal shelters. My specialty is cats but I have a few years experience with sitting and walking dogs as well. I am always up for a new challenge and am very capable and adaptable. I have worked in many animal shelters, as well as managed a cat shelter, so I am very comfortable approaching all animals. I have a very flexible schedule because I run my own cat oriented business and make my own hours. My whole life is animals, so I love to fit them into my life as much as possible. I currently only offer services in my clientsâ homes, and to ensure that their pets are always safe and secure, I am very on top of communication and checking in with my pet parents. I like to review all instructions together to make sure I donât have any questions and know exactly what contacts are (vet, ER, friends) for emergencies. I always respect other peopleâs space and will leave things exactly as I left them, if not better. Letting someone into your home to take care of your fur family requires a lot of trust and I feel honored when someone allows me that privilege.
About: I have never known life without a four legged friend by my side :) Growing up I was surrounded by and took care of our familyâs rottweilers and currently have a 9 year old rottie, a 5 year old golden retriever and a 2 year old grey tabby cat. My animals have wildly different temperaments and varying physical abilities and I have known them through infancy to their elder years. Iâm available monday through friday after 3 pm and open availability on the weekends! I would love to help you take care of your pets while youâre away. I currently work first shift at a laboratory full time. I am home from work around 3pm and make time to exercise and take care of my pets while iâm home. I have developed good time management skills and live by my google calendar and am more than capable and happy to fit your pets into my schedule. My two dogs get plenty of outside time in their fenced in backyard and are very high energy so get plenty of walks and enrichment. My cat âwhile very docile and sweet â also has loads of energy and needs lots of attention when heâs not playing with his canine buds. I am very diligent about his water consumption and eating habits as he gets chronic UTIâs and is on a medicated diet.
âChristine is a wonderful dog sitter! She stayed 9 days with our 2 high maintenance dogs and took excellent care of them. Christineâs communication both before and during our trip was exactly what we needed to feel comfortable. She sent pictures of our boys daily and sent us updates on their behaviors, eating, sleeping, and general wellbeing. It allowed us to relax and enjoy our trip!â

About: I currently volunteer at an animal shelter and love working with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and demeanors! I also have some basic training experience through my dog trainer, who also specializes in service work and behavioral training. My personal dog, Toffee (basset hound!), lived to be 16, and my favorite time with her was the patient walks and TLC needed as she got older--happy to support your senior animals too:) A couple other tidbits: I have experience working with farm animals (chickens, ducks, goats, and alpacas!) and majored in Environmental Science in college. Looking forward to meeting your furry ones! I balance my time with pet care through Rover and at the animal shelter, so I am happy to work with you to find good times (evenings and weekends included, depending on when). I prefer to meet or provide care at your home, but I also live in a very walkable neighborhood and have a dog park nearby. My house has a fenced-in yard and a sprinkler for the hotter days. While I do not currently have a crate in my personal vehicle, I am happy to get one if you are more comfortable. I also have close friends with dogs and cats if play dates are helpful too!
âErin is wonderful. She was so attentive to our 2 pups, and we could tell when we got home that not only were they well cared for, they were loved. Erin stayed in our house with our dogs, because we like them to be comfortable in their own space, and Erin made sure that our house was as well taken care of as our dogs. We will definitely be using Erin going forward, she is an absolute delight.â

Emese was instantly adored by all of my pets. My lab is usually cautious around new people, but she approached Emese without hesitation. Even my older catâwho typically skips meals when Iâm awayâwas completely at ease with her. She blended in beautifully and cared for them with genuine attention. During our meet and greet, she asked thoughtful, insightful questions that showed her experience and dedication. Iâll absolutely be booking her again!
