“We had a great experience using Mark for Dog Boarding! This was new for us as it was our first time away from our puppy Ralphie. We scheduled a "meet and greet" with Mark and his family. Mark is very prompt and responsive with communication. We new after one visit that Marks home is where we wanted our Ralphie pup to spend 8 days while we where away. We wanted our Ralphie to be in a home where he could receive full care. Mark was very attentive to needs of our pup. Mark sent us regular photos and updates about Ralphie. “Erin instantly made us feel comfortable leaving our 3 kitties for a week. She offered to come meet us and the cats before booking, and we loved her. One of our cats takes time to build trust and sometimes won’t eat for a bit while we’re away. Erin took the time to build a relationship with her and tried a few different things to help her feel comfortable eating for someone new. Erin spent time with all three cats, played with them, and helped them feel comfortable trusting her. We got pictures after every visit, and excellent communication about how they were doing. Our selective eater was coming out of hiding and eating her food consistently much quicker than she has for others who have come to feed them while we were away. “Kristen was great with our 3 month old puppy. She was flexible, sent us plenty of pictures, and responded quickly. It was a serene getaway for him and he looked very comfortable in her home. She took him on walks and he walked really well with her. On the second day drop off Kameron was wagging his tail as we walked inside and went straight for a prized green toy he loved. The pictures she sent were beautiful and she was very easy to talk to. I highly recommend her would absolutely use her again.”

“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. About: I rescued my own dog from a shelter, and she required a lot of special training and patience. I worked with her on socialization, leash walking, and reducing pulling and barking around other dogs, and I have successfully helped her improve in all of these areas. Since she was a puppy when I adopted her, I also have experience with the patience, consistency, and care that younger dogs require. In addition, I care for a senior dog, so I am experienced in recognizing when a dog has reached their physical limit during walks and understanding how to adjust care based on their needs. Having experience with both younger and older dogs, as well as both large and small breeds, has taught me how to handle dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and training levels with confidence and care. I am currently in school but there are only three days a week I am completely booked with classes. My Mondays and Fridays and weekends are completely open and would love to spend my free time around more dogs! I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment for pets while they are in my care. Since I live in an apartment, I make sure the space is pet-friendly, secure, and free of anything that could be harmful to animals. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, exercise, and any special instructions from the owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely to help pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I prioritize safety during walks, monitor pets closely around other animals, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, patience, and affection. About: I am a huge animal lover and have spent a lot of time rescuing homeless cats in my neighborhood. I have trapped 20 stray cats, vetted them, and found them homes. From this I have 7 of my own cats. I also have rescued two dogs from shelters. One is a Pitbull and the other an English Bull Dog. Growing up I always had pets around. As a Special Education Teacher I am available all weekdays after 5pm and I have complete open availability on weekends and school vacations (December, April). I have no problem with high energy or needy animals. I am comfortable cleaning up pet messes, playing, walking, and providing medicine if needed. I will do anything an animal needs.

When Rosie returned to our house, she was much happier than when coming back from previous kennels. Sandy was also very well organized and she helped us have an easy drop-off and pick-up.”
“Sherry was a wonderful sitter for our Labradoodle! She met us twice before our dog’s first stay so our dog could get comfortable with her and her home prior to being left in a new place. She was so friendly and accommodating and took our dog for regular walks in the park near her house. She also sent us daily pictures and updates about all the fun they were having together, which were reassuring while we were away.
