Caring for your pet like its mine
I love spending time with all types of dogs- big, small, old, young, lazy, energetic and everything in between. I recently moved back to Connecticut from Colorado and now have a more flexible job that allows me the opportunity to dog sit again. In the past, I’ve cared for dogs for Rover clients as well as friends’ and family members’ pets, and I’m comfortable walking, feeding, bathing, and administering medications as needed. I also love being outdoors and am happy to take your dog on walks or hikes if that’s something you’d like. I have experience training dogs, including my own two, and I understand how important it is to follow your dog’s routine and your expectations. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

This was our first time having Erin watch our dog at our home but it won’t be the last! Erin was amazing with our dog Delilah, taking her not just for walks around the neighborhood as usual, but taking her out on hikes to explore new places as well. We had an unexpected home repair needed and she was so helpful through that process while we were away. She was respectful with our home and gave regular updates and photos. It was such a great experience for our dog and we were at ease even while we were away. Erin is fantastic!

I had such a great experience with Erin and her husband Jason. From the start, she was very communicative and caring. She offered to meet and greet in person and followed through on the agreed date and time. I truly appreciated being able to tour the home environment in which my dog would be staying in beforehand. Especially since this was my first time leaving my dog with a stranger for almost a week. The home environment was clean with a huge backyard area that my dog loved. During the stay, Erin sent me multiple picture updates daily. I felt at ease knowing my dog was okay and in good hands while I was away. They were attentive, welcoming, and treated my dog like their own. When I picked my dog up, I could tell she had been well cared for and was comfortable. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy sitter!
Erin was great with my dog, taking her out on hikes and walks. Gave her plenty of time to play and kept me updated throughout with lots of pictures! Treated my dog like she was a part of her family. Would book again!!!
Erin is wonderful. She was so attentive to our 2 pups, and we could tell when we got home that not only were they well cared for, they were loved. Erin stayed in our house with our dogs, because we like them to be comfortable in their own space, and Erin made sure that our house was as well taken care of as our dogs. We will definitely be using Erin going forward, she is an absolute delight.

Schedule
I am open to working with you to make a schedule that works for both your dog's needs and my work schedule. I work Monday-Friday, with a flexible hour break for going to check on your pet midday if needed. My weekends would be planned to meet the needs of your pet, so you could enjoy your time away with our worry!

Safety, trust & environment
I’m currently open to caring for pets in both my home and your home. My house is dog-friendly, with an unfenced backyard, and I always prioritize safety and supervision when outside. I do my best to keep each pet comfortable by maintaining their usual routines as closely as possible, while also offering opportunities for enrichment based on their personality and comfort level-whether that’s a walk, hike, visit to a family member’s home, or simply relaxing in a calm environment. I’m very mindful of each pet’s needs and cues, and I’m just as happy giving them space if that’s what helps them feel most at ease. When staying in a client’s home, I’m always respectful of your space and preferences, aiming to keep your pet’s routine consistent while caring for your home with the same level of attention and respect.
A typical day
Its important to make sure your dog gets the exercise and stimulation they need, however I understand this looks different based on each dog. I am happy to go for long or short walks in the neighborhood a few times a day, take your dog on a trail for a hike, play fetch or whatever else they are used to to keep them happy and cared for.
