“Tatum was soooo great with my quirky dog! She totally went above and beyond to make sure my nervous nelly was comfortable enough to eat and do her business. She also kept me updated on everything that was going on with my pup and my kitty. I’ll definitely work with Tatum again!”

About: Hi there, my name is Natalie! I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds. I grew up in a big dog-loving family and have always had a dog in my life. I’ve also helped family, friends, and neighbors with dog sitting and walking over the years. I currently care for my 70-pound yellow Lab, who is truly my whole world. Having a large dog myself has given me a lot of experience with energetic dogs and the importance of regular exercise. In my full-time career I’m a licensed therapist, so being caring, attentive, and reliable is a big part of who I am. I believe every dog, no matter their size, deserves quality walks and thoughtful care. I’ll always take the time to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for every visit. I am available for walks and drop-in visits Friday through Sunday. During visits, your pup will receive walks, regular meals or treats if requested, and plenty of playtime and attention. My top priority is the safety and comfort of both your pup and your home. I respect every owner's routines and instructions so you can feel confident that everything will be taken care of during my visits. I also send regular updates and photos so you can see how your dog is doing while you're away.
“After meeting Sara we felt extremely comfortable having her drop in with our guy. She is kind, asked lots of questions and confirmed the appointment ahead of time. The day of she arrived on time and sent lots of pictures- our guy loved her so much he let her rub his belly! We highly recommend Sara!”

Looking to make some extra money while in college! available for pet care 24/7, I do online schooling so I have plenty of time to care for the babies and give them the proper attention I have a cat of my own 7 yrs old named Loki! The most chill boy ever and loves everyone. Will prioritize cleaning up after the babies, then loving them after. :)
About: I am a recently retired Military Working Dog Trainer/Handler, where have worked with and cared for some of the most amazing dogs (mostly German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois') around the world. I am comfortable around all breeds of dogs or cats, I have canine first aid training, as well as gentle training techniques for anyone looking to brush up on obedience. Apart from that I have been a dog owner my entire life; my boys Oliver and Seymour are smaller terrier mutts; they keep me on my toes more than the army dogs ever did. As many cat owners I was reluctant when my wife came home with Scamper, a tiny kitten, that grew into a Maine Coon sized furball, that is our pride and joy and constant source of entertainment. I currently travel in a self-build camper van with my wife and cat, we are based in Connecticut and always looking for more opportunities to get more time with fur babies; whether just popping in for a feeding, walks, or extended stays. I am currently retired from the military, so I have a lot of free time. I am available any time day or night, except Monday evenings (4-9pm), when I'm in a class. I treat all my pets like members Able to make accommodations, based on breed, size, age, and personality. It should be as seamless as a transition from when you leave to when I take over, with as little stress as possible

“Briona did a great job with a drop in visit for our dog! She sent a bunch of pictures and remembered our dog care instructions from her prior visit. We came home to a happy dog :)”

About: Hello! My name is Nayra! I used to volunteer at the local ASPCA in my hometown of Meriden, Connecticut! Recently moved here and want to make connections with more pets! I’ve always loved animals ever since a young age, my goal is to make sure animals in need of care or help is taken care of. Throughout my life I have always been attached to dogs and tried my best to help as many as I could. I’m a owner of a German Shepherd and a poodle that suffers from many complications, I miss them very much and I look forward to meeting other dogs. And I also look forward to making connections with new dogs, learning their personalities, and giving them the care/attention that they need! Dogs are just like people. They’re all different and require different types of care.
About: I’ve always had a passion and love for animals since I was little. From horses to dogs, I have been pet sitting for 8 years. Two years ago I got my dog training certification so dogs have been my world for a very long time! I work with dogs all day at my current job and I love it so much! I work full time right now with dogs. I am available after 1, and can work until anytime. I am available all day on Saturdays. I have a fenced in yard with a lot of room for my own dogs/ other pets to run around! I am always respectful of others homes when entering. I treat the dogs like they are my own!
About: I’ve had dogs since I was six and started helping take care of them around age ten. I genuinely love having a dog around, and there’s nothing better than the companionship and snuggles. I’m attentive, patient, and happy to stick to your dog’s routine so they feel right at home. I’m a hybrid worker with a flexible schedule, so I’m home a lot and able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I love having animals around! They really fit naturally into my routine. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just hanging out, your pet will have lots of company and won’t be left alone for long periods of time. In my home, your pet will have a calm, comfortable space and lots of attention. I only have a caged rabbit, so they’ll pretty much have the house to themselves. I also have a large yard for walks and fresh air. I promise to stick to your pet’s routine as much as possible and adjust based on their personality, whether they want to play or just relax and snuggle.

About: I always been around dogs and animals my whole life and since I was really young I’ve owned a dog and have been taught how to take care of them. I’ve taken care of dogs of friends and family including dogs as young as a new puppy and as old as 13 years old. I would take close attention if there were any special details aswell. I am currently in college studying business and marketing. I am usually available most days a week and will always put animals before myself. I am trying to get more of a solid job soon, so availability may change soon. I always make sure that there is nothing of danger laying around in my house and in close reach of the dogs. And I would take the same care for another persons house as I would with my own, including keeping it clean and safe.
About: Many years experience of potty and crate training puppies. I have raised a St. Bernard, Husky, 2 Pomeranians, and currently have a BichaPoo. I even was able to assist my Pom Coco when she gave birth to her son. It was a beautiful moment. My schedule is very flexible and most days I work from home. Plenty of time to spend with your pet. If I do have to go into the office I will be gone no longer than 5 hours. In the evenings my husband and 4 kids (ages 15,12,7 & 7) are home as well. I have a fenced backyard and a lovable BishaPoo to play with your fur baby. Pets in our home are free to roam around our home. They are one of the family.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Meriden
Kelly has helped us with our senior dog multiple times since he has not been able to be boarded, and sometimes with our younger more rambunctious dog as well during last minute bookings when his boarding center is full. I can tell the boys love her and enjoy her visits while we are away! She is always available and accommodates with us in a pinch and her notes and pictures give me such ease being away knowing our boys are being cared for. Thank you again for always working with us!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
