About: Hi! My name is Douglas, Doug for short. Currently a proud papa to a golden lab named Sunny, and a grey longhair cat named Remy. My best friend is a pug/chihuahua mix named Taz. I also had an old man chihuahua named Finn, and I’ll forever miss him. I feel like I speak dog, I know how to tailor my personality to meet the needs of any dog. Cliche to say but I am better with animals than with people. I am responsible, gentle, caring, and a big rule follower. I have pretty open availability throughout the week so I have lots of time to hang out with your dogs! Let me know what you need and I should be able to make it work! I have experience with crate training my dog so I am comfortable playing with your dog in the house or yard, and switching them to their crate if needed.
“We had such a great experience with Mckenzie! From the very beginning, she was communicative, reliable, and clearly loves what she does. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our puppy was in good hands. We also loved the photo updates. We came home to a relaxed, happy puppy, and that says everything. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”
“This was my first time leaving these pets for any length of time and I was nervous. Lauren immediately put me at ease. She’s very caring, my pets loved her, and she communicated and sent pictures with every visit. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking with her in the future.”

I understand the love and care that people have for their pets and want to be able to provide that for yours. I know different dogs have different needs and I’m here to care for them!

“My seconding time booking Deborah and she’s great! Follows the routine. And plays and loves on your pet! The first thing she said to me once I rebooked with her was “I’m so excited to see her again.” which is something very heartwarming to see when you’re leaving your pet to be taken care of by someone.”

“This is the second time I have had Sara come for drop-in visits for my two cats. She is trustworthy, reliable, and always on time. She gives my cats attention, plays with them and takes great care of them. Sara always sends pictures so I can see how they are doing which I love. I can enjoy myself & not have to worry about them which is most important to me. I’m already booking her again for my next getaway. I highly recommend Sara!”

About: Hi, I have been taking care of animals for over 25 years now. I also use to breed German Shepherds for eight years. I am a stay at home mom and Rover, is my full time job now that my kids are teens. I use to foster dogs and other animals before I had a family and worked on two farms, So I have a lot of experience with different types of breeds, temperaments, past abuse, and very skittish animals. I have much confidence when it comes to taking care of special case dogs, senior dogs, newborn/Whelping puppies and more. We live in a house with over two acres of land, with lots of lovely areas to walk, including a cemetery that is located over the fence in our yard. It has lots of roads that are quiet and safe. I find this great because they gets lots and lots of exercise, and its great for dogs that may be frightened of loud, busy streets, or leash reactive dogs. We also have doggie pools ,( when it's hot) if your pup loves water play! My German Shepherd and Papilions are highly trained and socialized . They are extremely well behaved, as well as amazing house dogs and companions to my autistic son. HOWEVER, your dog/s and my dogs will NEVER come in physical contact with each other. . We are highly active family, so lots of play and exercise fits in our schedule everyday. While hosting your pets at my house, they will receive the same attention and affection as if they were my own dogs. I always sleep in the same room as the pups ( unless told otherwise) to keep they company and comfortable during their stay. We will have lots of potty breaks, keep right on track with feeding schedule. Everyday we will have lots of play time, down relax time, and brain stimulating fun as well. I will take them on long walks at the cemetery that is behind the fence of our home. I ONLY do family boardings, I do not mix other family dog/s. I find no matter how socialized they are, being away from home on top of being with unfamiliar dogs can always have a possibility of disaster. My goal is to keep everyone safe! I will take up to 2 dogs from the same family. Thank you for understanding. I absolutely am an animal lover, and it's the only job that makes me feel happy, confident and I have such a passion for this work So your pets will become my family when they are with me. I will always protect them and care for them like they are my own. I will always send pictures and videos of your furbaby while they are in my care. I am very good at keeping in contact with of my clients via their choice of email, text message or phone/video calls. Please ask me as many questions as you like, I am eager to learn about your fur babies! My dogs are on strict, daily routine that doesn't interfere with my work schedule. However my dogs and your dog/s will not come in physical contact with each other. We have two wings of our home and the main house where are dogs are. Down the hall we have the ..... Huge Doggie Suite!! Equipped with a mini fridge for meds and wet food, with lots of toys, beds, blankets, a big doggie couch, Sink, Raincoats and snow jackets, AC AND HEAT. Lots of windows and sky lights, screen windows to slide open to get that fresh crisp air in the morning and gentle breeze at night. Spring and Fall are best for those times. But we will have fun all year round because I am a huge outdoors person. I also have doggie Tv playing everyday!!😊 My schedule most of the time will be wide open, which only a few days here and there that I won't be available. I will follow all your directions to a T, and you will never be disappointed by my services! I look forward to all my new pup and "hooman" clients.
“Brooke has taken care of our pets multiple times and she is always kind, consistent, and caring as well as a clear communicator. We are grateful we can trust someone with our pets. Thank you!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was six and started helping take care of them around age ten. I genuinely love having a dog around, and there’s nothing better than the companionship and snuggles. I’m attentive, patient, and happy to stick to your dog’s routine so they feel right at home. I’m a hybrid worker with a flexible schedule, so I’m home a lot and able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I love having animals around! They really fit naturally into my routine. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just hanging out, your pet will have lots of company and won’t be left alone for long periods of time. In my home, your pet will have a calm, comfortable space and lots of attention. I only have a caged rabbit, so they’ll pretty much have the house to themselves. I also have a large yard for walks and fresh air. I promise to stick to your pet’s routine as much as possible and adjust based on their personality, whether they want to play or just relax and snuggle.

About: I've been caring for dogs since l was 10, and over the years I've helped neighbors, friends, and family with feeding, walking, playtime, and daily check-ins. I'm comfortable with all ages and personalities-from energetic puppies to slow-moving seniors who need a gentle routine. I also have a puggle at home, so I'm no stranger to high-energy, goofy, dramatic, "I run this house" behavior. Living with a puggle has taught me patience, structure, and how to keep a dog entertained, calm, and safe even when they're full of personality. Because of that, I'm great with dogs who are excitable, stubborn, or just a little wild in the best way. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for while you're away. I treat every dog like my own and keep communication open with updates and photos so you never have to wonder how they're doing. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I go into work at 12pm, which gives me open availability every morning for walks, drop-ins, or playtime. I'm also completely free on weekends, so l can offer flexible scheduling, longer visits, and consistent care whenever you need it. When I'm caring for pets-whether in my home or a client's home, I focus on creating a calm, structured, and safe environment. I follow each pet's routine closely, including feeding schedules, walking habits, and any special instructions you provide. I always make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure, and I keep a close eye on pets during walks or outdoor time to prevent any accidents or escapes. In your home, I respect your space and your rules. I keep things tidy, follow your preferred routines, and make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you're away. In my home, pets have a calm environment with plenty of attention, structure, and supervision. I also have a puggle, so I'm very familiar with managing high-energy personalities safely and patiently.
About: Had a dog since I was a child, and have continued to have dogs my whole life. My current dog is 6 and great around children/other dogs (when she isn’t sunbathing). Currently job hunting so until that changes availability is relatively open. Early riser and love taking my dog on early morning walks in nice weather. A crate and in house fence are available, as well as sectioning off into separate rooms if needed. Plenty of beds and sleep/play space available.
About: I've had pets since a young age from lizards, cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, turtles, guinea pigs and birds. I have a small dog of my own so I know I can give your pets lots the love and attention too whether they have fur, scales, or feathers! I work from home so all pets get get a lot of attention during the day. For dogs staying in my home, they get 3 walks a day in the morning, during my lunch break, and in the evening. I work from home so all pets get a lot of attention during the day. I love to spend my time after work going on walks and would love a buddy(s) to come with me! I am available from dog walking or in home visits after 5:15pm during the week and anytime on weekends. I think the best way to care for a pet is do exactly what they're comfortable with. I intend to have very open communication with pet parents to understand the likes, dislikes and behaviors of their fur-babies to make sure that they feel safe and comfortable. I do have a dog of my own so I also want to make sure all your pets get along with my Jax, who loves other animals.

Hailey was wonderful with my pets and cared for them beautifully. My senior animals can be a bit finicky, but my lab went right to her during our first meeting, and both cats immediately rubbed up against her. Their trust in her says more than I ever could. She truly connected with them.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
