Cuddles, Care & Companionship

Hi! My name is Kelly! First and foremost - This is my FULL TIME Passion & Career, so if your pet needs a walk, a place to stay while you’re away, or just some company for a little while, please reach out! I’m always willing to work with you for pricing, so PLEASE DON’T hesitate to discuss it with me! Your pets are my priority! I’m an animal lover and certified in administrating all meds, as well, so all pets are in great hands! I have loved pets since childhood; we always had several pets at once (cats, dogs, birds, bunnies, etc...) and I was the one in charge of caring for them. We had several cats, dogs, bunnies, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, fish - just to say a ‘few.’ I’m an energetic, loving, and experieced petsitter, animal boarder, and dog walker for over 15 years. Your pets’ needs, safety, health, and happiness are always my number one goals. I enjoy long walks, playing fetch or Frisby, going to the dog park for running and playing, and ensuring your pet gets the exercise (and relaxation) they need. I always ensure they have plenty of water and I never mind cleaning up after them. Your pets are welcome on my couch or bed- or wherever they feel most comfortable. Whether you need me last minute, recurring, long or short-term, I’m available. Animals are my passion. I deal with all breeds of dogs, from very small to very large dogs. I even have over 8 years experience with rescue dogs & cats, and over 10 years with “Senior” & “Special Need” animals. I have experience boarding and caring for dogs, cats, snakes, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, bunnies, ferrets, different species of birds (including Sparrows, love birds, parrots, and sun conures to name a few), and even turtles! I would love to meet you and your pets. After all, your pets are a part of your family and I’ll treat them as if they’re part of mine, too! Pet care is my full time job. I have pets and care for others’ pets full time 7 days per week. Your pet is my full time responsibility - just like my own. I have a small dog who loves people and other animals to keep your dog company when your dog is at my home. My Maltese tends to bark - a lot- at people she doesn’t know, but once she warms up, she’s happy to relax with you. I take her out for a walk every 2 hours and she eats wet food twice per day and grazes on dry food. She’s a picky eater who loves to play and will definitely be happy to share her toys with your dog. She has two best friends - a Pomsky named Jax and a cat named Roy. If I come to your home, I will follow your instructions. I’m happy to walk or run with them. I have taken both dogs and cats outside on leashes walks. If your pet prefers, I’m happy to just sit with them and give them company and cuddles.

Kelly was great! She was very attentive to our pets and their needs. She alerted us that we had ants crawling in through our slider and into the animals food and moved the food to a different location. She left very detailed summaries and pics after each visit and stayed in constant communication if there were any issues that came up. I knew my animals were in good hands. Would definitely hire again!

Kelly has helped us with our senior dog multiple times since he has not been able to be boarded, and sometimes with our younger more rambunctious dog as well during last minute bookings when his boarding center is full. I can tell the boys love her and enjoy her visits while we are away! She is always available and accommodates with us in a pinch and her notes and pictures give me such ease being away knowing our boys are being cared for. Thank you again for always working with us!

Kelly is absolutely wonderful! We've now rebooked her multiple times for our diabetic cat, and I can't stress enough how much it puts us at ease to know Kelly is keeping an eye on things! Her Rover cards are always incredibly detailed and thoughtful, and include an abundance of lovely pictures. The way she cares about animals truly comes through in every visit and interaction with her -- I cannot recommend her enough!

Safety, trust & environment

When someone needs me to come care for their pet(s), whether it’s a walk or a drop-in visit, I always prefer to meet you and your pet(s) before my first visit. I like to know about your pet, medications if needed, routines, any allergies, favorite toy, and any likes or their dislikes. I also think this reduces your pet’s anxiety when I come for their first visit. I wouldn’t feel comfortable if some stranger just walked in, so I feel like pets feel better when they’ve seen/smelled you before. I always try to stick to their normal routine, while providing plenty of love, fun, and companionship. I might sound crazy, but yes, I will talk to your pet. I greet them when I walk in, talk to them while I’m there, and say goodbye when I’m leaving. I know some people think it’s a bit crazy since it’s sn animal, but my pets are my family, so I talk to them. I will ask how their night went or comment to them when they seem more tired. It seems unusual, but I do the same with my pets, so it’s a habit. If it makes you uncomfortable, please find another sitter, because it’s one habit I can’t break.

Caring for your pet is my passion - not just a job- the best part are the Paw Prints they leave on my heart. To insure they get the best care: It’s especially important to know if your animal is social with other animals and people. I’m willing to care for your pet regardless, but for safety reasons, it’s extremely important for me to know for safety and scheduling purposes. Please just let me know about any allergies, medications, or triggers for your pet. Any specific routines such as feeding, etc.. I don’t have issues with any type of breed or age. I won’t turn you away just because your animal has anxiety, social issues, specific triggers, or aggressive tendencies. I am always willing to care for those animals. Just be honest and upfront always! It’s worth it to you and your pet! After all, your pet deserves the best care and being honest about things like that will ensure they do. All pets deserve to be cared for in the best way possible and knowing things like that allows me that opportunity to give just that- the best care, better understanding, and assisting with any special needs they have.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
