I secure the windows, electrical cords, and keep small objects out of the pets reach. I also will make sure your pet always has access to clean and fresh water. Regularly refilling their water bowl throughout the day to keep them hydrated. I will also engage your pet in physical activities to maintain their health and well-being. For example taking your dog for walk or playing games with them. For other types of pets I will also provide interactive toys for mental stimulation. I also do not mind grooming your pet according to their specific needs. For example brushing their fur, trim their nails, clean their ears. Overall I see pets as children and will protect and care for them as such! ❤️

I never have to worry about my dog when she is in her care. Ellie is a rambunctious yellow lab preteen and can be quite a handful. Amanda has worked with her on jumping, leash training, and commands. About: I’ve grown up with various pets, from the occasional insect to a hermit crab for 3 years, a Guinea pig for 8, and my dog, Roscoe, for 4. I’ve always taken care of family friend’s dogs and had a passion for animals of all kinds. I’m very patient with training for all ages, focusing on a positive experience for the pup, having worked with professional trainers and Roscoe throughout the past few years. Having dog sat for River over the summer, I’d love for the opportunity to meet and work with your dog and honored with the trust to take care of your fur baby! Starting college this fall, I plan to take it easy on campus, which will give me plenty of time to hang out with your furry friends! I am extremely attentive during walks. Especially during the hot summer months, it is vital to pay attention to the hot weather, the temperature of the ground (specifically asphalt), and of course, making sure your dog or cat isn’t overheating. Having a large black dog with a thick coat, I have become attune to the subtle signs of overheating and will do so on a walk to make sure your pup stays as safe as possible. During home visits, I am vigilant to ensure your dog or cat stays in a safe environment, is provided proper food and water, and receives exceptional mental and physical stimulation for the day.

About: I grew up on a small farm with lots of different types of animals. Since adulthood I have had multiple pets and have volunteered with animal shelters. I am comfortable working with a lot of different pet temperaments and love getting to know new animal friends on thier comfort level. I currently have two adorable dogs, a 14 year old senior Tibetan Spaniel mix and a hyper, anxious Terrier mix puppy. We enjoy going on hikes, paddel boarding, and being amateur pet models for my photography hobby together. I look forward to meeting with you and your pet. I am currently a stay at home dog mom, so my schedule can be pretty flexible. I am happy to discuss and accommodate whatever your pet care needs may be. I live in an apartment and cannot watch other animals in my home at this time. I am however able and very happy to come to you.
