“Lucy has very quickly become one of my puppy’s best friends! Lucy took the time to get to know my dog, who is usually shy and anxious with new people. Lucy learned her likes and dislikes. Lucy is full of every and plays with my dog rather than just a walk. The walk is energetic and fun . My dog waits for Lucy and eagerly anticipates their fun times together. I have rebooked Lucy multiple times.”

“Rebecca is great! Great communication and always sends me a picture of Eli. It makes my day a lot better when I get to see his cute face when I’m at work.”

About: I‘ve had dogs and cats my entire life and hopefully forever. I currently have 3 adorable dogs and 2 amazing cats that are apart of my family. I have also cared for other pets in my experience working at a Veterinary Hospital and Boarding House. I worked in the boarding facility as well as the hospital so I’m no stranger to caring for cats and dogs (sometimes exotic animals). I also assisted the techs with various procedures. This means I can administer medication orally if it’s ever needed and I have the knowledge to be aware if something doesn’t seem right about your pet. I was additionally in charge of walking the dogs, even those in e-collars and paw protectors. I am working part-time as a photographer, but I will always have time for any animals! I enjoy early morning walks and afternoon play dates! My daytime schedule is between 7 am-5 pm Monday-Friday. I walk dogs usually between 9-4 pm to give myself enough time with each animal. When it comes to your pet, because I have schedule flexibility I’ll be able to drop in whenever it’s needed to make sure things are going smoothly while you’re away. I’ll be able to provide your pet with the snuggles and care that they need all the while keeping you updated with notes and photos so you feel confident and comfortable that your pets are being taken care of properly! My animals play daily and get loads of attention! I would treat your pets the same way. I don’t believe your pets are just pets. They’re apart of your family. All of the animals I’ve had have been treated the same way any one of my human family members are treated. Whatever is needed for them to be happy and content I will help provide.

“She walks my two years old crazy Boxer five days a week. My Dog is absolutely in love with her. He will wait for her by the door and cry when she leaves.”

About: I've had pets my whole life, volunteered on a farm, and was a foster for multiple agencies. Finding someone you and your pet trust so you don't have to worry is important to me. I work from home part time so my schedule is very flexible. Get stuck at work late? No problem. Unexpected travel? I gotcha. Whether it’s one visit or more long term, all my past and current clients could attest to my dependability, respect for your home and happy pets!! I'm currently unable to offer care in my home but I'm happy to come you and extended visits are no problem. Quality enrichment is important.

“Bruce is wonderful! He is gentle, kind, and responsible. He takes his duties seriously which brings me peace of mind while I’m working long hours. My high energy dog received lots of attention and long walks and I couldn’t be happier. I will 100% schedule him again!”

About: I am currently working as a veterinary technician in an animal hospital in Seymour. I have been there for ~2 years now. Caring for animals has always and will forever be my passion in life. I personally have a 4 1/2 year old pit bull baby named Zeus, and 3 lovely cats. All of them being loved, extremely spoiled, and well taken care of; always. I work a full-time job as a veterinary technician, I work 4 days out of the week (8am - 6pm) and every other Saturday (8am - 12pm). I am off one day during the week (usually Wed. or Thurs.) and I am off every Sunday. I am able to fit in dog walks or sitting anytime after 6pm working hours, and if I'm not working then time really doesn't matter as long as personal life agrees. I have a dog that suffers from separation anxiety and I have had to learn how to manage. He is unable to be left home alone most times and if he must be left, he has to be crated (otherwise we come home to everything demolished). Ways I have worked to solve this problem with him is 1) anxiety medication that he gets almost daily 2) I try to avoid leaving him alone, if he can come then he is coming. Thankfully he is a great dog otherwise and bringing places isn't too much of a hassle. He does have major FOMO. I am a very easy person to work with, flexible, and a quick learner. If there is anything you feel is important for me to know, let me know.

About: I am a longtime dog owner and have been pet sitting since I was 13 years old and doing it professionally for almost 10 years. You can feel putting your pets needs in my hands while you are away. I work from home full-time, so I will have no issues making sure all of your pets needs are met whether that be regular walks, regular play, or just a good tummy rub every now and then. I currently have a moderately sized 3/4 fenced in yard with a run for lots of outdoor time. I also have a medium sized crate if needed.

About: Not just walks. I provide genuine connection, routine, and peace of mind while you are at work or away. Your pet is family to me. I am available weekdays and most weekends for walks, drop-ins, or overnight sitting. My schedule is flexible and I am happy to accommodate your pet's schedule and needs. I am detail oriented and dependable. I follow routines exactly, prioritize safety at all times, and keep you updated so you feel confident while you are away from your pet.

“Very helpful and flexible. Was wonderful at checking in with me and asking useful questions.”

About: Hi there! With 12+ years of professional pet care experience—and a lifetime of loving my own animals—I bring both expertise and genuine affection to every pet I meet. Over the years, I’ve cared for dozens of dogs, each with their own unique needs and personalities, from energetic pups to seniors needing daily meds and extra TLC. One of my most meaningful experiences was helping a sweet dog through cancer treatment— So happy to share that she is now as healthy and as playful as ever. And honestly? Belly rubs are great, but pet massages are my true specialty! I love giving your pet the extra relaxation and affection they deserve. And because I work from home, your dog is never far from company, comfort, and a warm lap. Whether it’s structured walks or cozy downtime, I create a calm, safe environment you can trust. Pets are family and always deserve to be treated as such. I work from home part-time, with a fair deal of flexibility and gaps throughout the day. Also, with a big backyard and a nature trail nearby, getting that outdoor time is an automatic given! Fortunately, my pup is well-trained and never strays from our unfenced yard. I recognize this may be a deterrent for some but please rest assured, if you consider me for your care-giving services, not only will there be a leash and constant supervision, but also even more outdoor walk time to make sure all that energy turns into a great long nap.

“Heather was the daily walker for my puppy Jack for a couple of months and I couldn’t have been more pleased. She was very communicative and caring towards him, socialized him with lots of dogs and people on their walks. She let me know if he seemed sick or unusually tired. I never felt like I had to check in or be worried. She played with him and worked with me on his training so we could be sure he was learning the same. Unfortunately changes in schedule led to parting of ways but I would hands down recommend her to anyone.”

“Claire was awesome!! I could not have chosen a more attentive and caring care giver for my fur baby. She went above and beyond to make sure Teddy was cared for so that I could relax and enjoy my first vacation since the pandemic. I would recommend her to anyone who loves their fur baby and wants a Rover associate to love them as well.”

4. Cameron G.
“I first reached out to Cameron to pet sit for me last summer when my dog, Snickers, needed to be cared for during a few trips that I had planned and my prior arrangements fell through. I am very careful and cautious when asking people to watch her as she tends to be a bit unruly, difficult on the leash, and high energy. Snickers is around 75lbs and very strong. She is very excitable. She will try to lick anyone who she can get close to and tends to jump. She whines and can be difficult to get her attention when she sees another dog. (Reactive but not aggressive). Cameron did drop-in dog sitting for me on multiple occasions sometimes just for a day or 2 others for over a week. Each time that Cameron came to walk and take care of Snickers she was always tentative to her needs and medications. Cameron communicated with me very well, always letting me know she had stopped in as planned, if she was running late, and would frequently send update pictures and sometimes videos! I fully trust Cameron in my home and with Snickers. Knowing that each time Cameron comes to care for Snickers that she is being engaged with, exercised, fed, properly medicated, and receiving tons of love brings me peace of mind that I am able to travel without fear and worry for Snickers.”

I’ve had the pleasure of entrusting my dog, Casey, to his care on multiple occasions, and each time I’ve been impressed by the level of attention, affection, and professionalism he provides. Nick goes above and beyond to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. He maintains a clean and pet-friendly environment, sticks to feeding and medication routines, and takes the time to understand each dog’s unique personality and needs. It’s clear that Nick genuinely enjoys spending time with animals, and the bond he forms with them is heartwarming to see. I never have to worry when my dog is with Nick—I know they’re in good hands. I wholeheartedly support his application and am confident he will make an outstanding addition to Rover.”

When she was our nanny, she would sometimes ask if she could take the dog home with her for the weekend because she adores her so much!
