“Gosh, where to begin? Our Lucy had such a wonderful stay with Howard, Kathy & Victoria that after 2 weeks, I think she was reluctant to leave them & return home with us! They were so good at keeping us posted on how she was doing, including pics, which was very comforting for this mama who hates being away from her fur kid. They are truly kind and generous people, opening their home & hearts to pets that aren't theirs and my only hope is that when Lucy stays with them again, they will be available. They are THAT GOOD! I told him he could just let my dog run in his back yard, that she's good and always comes back, but Dan still walked her with a leash every time, wanting to be sure she was safe. “Finding a dog sitter was a very large & serious task for me. I don't leave my dogs with anyone, including family. So this search was stressful, because I wanted to find someone that will care for my babies the way I do, or better! I have heard of a lot of horror stories with private dog sitters and dog sitting kennels. So my guard was up & my standards where very high. After a vigorous search for a sitter, Hannah passed what we understand as the "Vibe Check". She is very warm and welcoming, she jumped right in explaining her services and assured me that she would be the sole caregiver to my fur babies. I share this comment because apparently there are dog sitters (from Rover) that live with other people in the household (ex. house renting rooms) and didn't disclose that information. As a dog mom I think it's important to know who is involved with your pets. Not everyone has the mindset to care for pets, and it opens doors for mishaps. Hannah was very forthcoming with whom is in the household, but that SHE would be the sole caregiver and I appreciate that tremendously. Another factor I appreciate from Hannah is that she offered to show me around the house and the room where my babies would sleep in. I share this comment as well because I was having difficulty understanding how dog sitters wouldn't allow/offer for me to enter the house (also sitters from Rover). As a dog mom I think it's a MUST to view the house and area where my kiddos would be staying in. If I didn't get to view where and how they would reside in your home, it was an automatic NO for me. Interview was over. However, with no hesitation Hannah welcomed me and my babies in, and I can tell that my kiddos approved. Her home is beautiful and clean, dog proof, with a beautiful yard. Plenty of space for the fur babies to run around. Throughout the their stay with Hannah, she would send daily thoughtful updates of my babies. I could tell that they were happy and safe, and it put me at ease. I finally was able to vacation without feeling worried. Hannah is an EXCELLENT dog sitter. She will follow your instructions on how to care for your fur babies & she lends herself to handle situations in regards to my your pet's care. I'm so happy to have found her. Rest assured your babies are in good hands with her. Hannah has been dubbed as our official dog sitter! Congrats Hannah! You did an awesome job. And we thank you!”
