“Need to give a 6 Star review to Jae if it were possible. Genuinely cares about the wellbeing of our dogs. Fortunate to have someone who treats Max like family. Till next time Be well!”

“Bruce took good care of my two cats while I was away for a few days. He kept me updated with photos and notes on how they were doing which was greatly appreciated. Thanks again!”

About: I am an Animal Behavior student with professional experience in dog daycare, training, educational animal programs, and wildlife rehabilitation. I have hands-on experience working with dogs, cats, rabbits, small animals, reptiles, and rehabilitating wildlife in both professional and personal settings. Through my education and experience, I have developed a strong understanding of animal behavior and body language, allowing me to recognize signs of stress or discomfort and create a safe, calm, and positive environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. My schedule is very flexible, and I have plenty of availability throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I also work part-time in animal care, so my hours can occasionally vary, but I always do my best to accommodate different schedules and provide dependable, loving care for every pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are really important to me. I have experience working with animals in daycare, boarding, training, educational animal programs, and wildlife rehabilitation, so I understand how important patience, supervision, and routine are. I always respect owners’ instructions and work to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me.
About: I've grew up with dogs and have been responsible for taking care of them, including feeding, walking/running & playing/taking outside, bathing, and more. I have experience giving older dogs medicine, both orally and injections (especially insulin for diabetic dogs). One of my dogs developed hip dysplasia and cancer at her older age, so I am experienced with caring for senior dogs in need of extra attention. Additionally, I often pet sit for family and friends and am trusted to ensure not only their basic needs are met (clean water, food, bathroom breaks/walks), but also they receive attention and affection while their owners are away. I'm currently home for the summer as a college student and I'm unable to get a job with a set schedule because I have surgery coming up which takes a huge chunk out of my summer but I'm available for the entirety of June and first week of July. I can basically be free whenever needed, weekdays and weekends! Since I have cats at my house, I don't care for client's pets in my own home to minimize conflict. In clients homes I follow whatever rules laid out for their animals, ensuring they're fed at the proper intervals, always have clean water (and litter boxes if used). If applicable, I like to go outside with the pets to play with them and make sure they get needed stimulation. I take them on walks (and of course clean up after them), and runs when applicable. I also like to make sure the animals get lots affection (as long as approved by their owners) to make sure they're not lonely while away!
“We had confidence in Heather looking after our cats from the moment we met her at the meet and greet. She did an amazing job looking after the cats sending us updates and keeping us informed on how they were doing. We definitely will be using her again when we go away.”

About: My family rescued our American Bulldog when I was in kindergarten, and he was my absolute best friend. I loved taking him on walks, playing with him in the yard, and just spending time sitting next to him. I absolutely love all animals, so I am so excited to take care of your pet! I work remotely Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and am available these days to work from your home to housesit/pet sit if needed! I also am available after 4pm during the week, and all day on the weekends to take care of your pet. I unfortunately am not allowed to have pets in my house. However, while at a client’s house, I love to spend time playing with the dogs outside for some exercise! For dogs that are less active, I enjoy spending time inside hanging out and playing with them and their toys.
About: I’m a mother of 3 children and two fur babies, a Labrador and a tuxedo cat. In addition to caring for my own pets over the years, I have some experience with foster care as well as veterinary assistance. My schedule is flexible as I am a stay at home parent. Daytime is best but I am also available for night check ins and weekends. My pets are very friendly but I will respect the wishes of the pet owner on how much exposure they prefer their pet to have to other people or pets, as well as any other safety concerns they may have. I live on a low traffic cul-de-sac street, ideal for walking.

About: I love my family Tibetan terrier Bentley and walk and pet sit him regularly when my family is away. We've had him for 7 years. I started walking dogs as a job in 2018 to present. Special skills include jogging and dedication to picking up that business. I always enjoy seeing other dogs being walked and more often then not stop to pet them if they're friendly. I currently walk two golden retrievers. I'm able to sit them at your home as I only have a small apartment rented out of someone's house. I'm currently working part time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available during the week to walk and am currently looking to take on another dog. I'm currently not able to bring dogs to my residence as I rent. I am available Monday through friday to give a nice relaxing walk!
“Claire is a gem!! She is so compassionate and loving toward dogs. 🥹❤️ Our elder dog had Claire shaped hearts in his eyes when we got home. She took the time to sit next to him on the floor while she encouraged him to eat his dinner. 🥹🥹☺️🙏🏻 10/10 🙃”
“Beth and Mark were amazing! They went above and beyond making my dog feel comfortable, happy and safe-especially during a bad thunderstorm. They sent tons of pictures and updates which I loved. I would highly recommend!”
About: Growing up, dogs were always part of the family. My dad worked at an animal shelter and had a natural gift with animals that I watched and absorbed. When he passed in 2020, I inherited his two dogs and loved them until the end of their lives. I miss them every day. That loss is part of why I’m here. I know how special it is to form these bonds with animals, and how they keep us company through every quiet, mundane moment, not just the walks and the highlights. I’m highly attuned to what animals and people need, even when they can’t say so. It would be my honor to care for yours. Walking is a daily practice for me, and so is showing up fully for the people and animals in my life. Pet care isn’t a side thought, it’s something I genuinely look forward to.I’m Walks are my primary focus and genuine joy. For drop-ins I follow the pet’s established routine closely, keep things calm and consistent, and always leave the space as I found it. For house sitting I treat a client’s home with full respect, maintaining the pet’s normal schedule so they barely notice their person is gone.

About: Hi there! I’m so excited to meet you and your furry family member! I’m not just a dog sitter — I’m a true dog lover who believes dogs are family. They aren't "just pets" to me; they are loyal companions who deserve all the love, patience, and care we can give them. I live an active lifestyle and love spending time outdoors, which means plenty of playtime, walks, and adventures for your pup! Whether it's tossing a ball in the backyard, going for a stroll, or simply having cozy cuddle time inside, I’m here to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and happy every moment you're away. I provide potty breaks every two hours to make sure your dog stays comfortable and healthy. I also pay close attention to emotional needs — I understand how important it is for dogs to feel loved and secure when their people are away. Every tail wag, every happy bark, and every little paw print matters to me. When you trust me with your dog, you’re not just hiring a sitter — you’re finding someone who will love your dog like my own. I am reliable, attentive, and committed to keeping you updated with lots of photos and messages so you can relax knowing your dog is in good hands. Pet care is a natural part of my life because dogs are like family to me. I just finished college, so I have a completely open schedule and can dedicate my full attention, love, and energy to caring for your dog all week long. Their happiness and well-being will be my top priority every day. In my home, pets are treated like family. I have a big house with plenty of space for them to feel comfortable and safe. While my backyard is large and open (unfenced), I always supervise outdoor time very closely to make sure your dog stays safe and happy. I love giving them plenty of playtime, attention, and a cozy, calm environment where they can feel completely at home. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I’ll follow your routine closely to keep them comfortable and stress-free. My goal is to make every dog feel loved, secure, and well-cared for, no matter where they are.
Derby dog parents share their Rover experiences
Dahn is always so great with our dogs! We love having her because we know there is nothing to worry about when we’re away. She’s prompt and always leaves a very detailed summary with lots of pictures for us. We always recommend Dahn and will continue to use her!

Sara is amazing. She followed my instructions and she kept in touch with me on how our old lady was doing. She used good judgment with regard to the poor air quality and heat by limiting the time our dog was out. She paid attention to our dog as well. I desperately wish she lived closer to us and am so thankful that she was able to come to our home. I highly recommend her and believe anyone who gets to have her take care of their pets is very lucky. She also has excellent work ethics.
Sarah is the best! I have an older pup and an independent cat; right away she put my mind at ease as her experience and care for animals radiates. She communicated clearly and promptly with me from the pre-booking to after the visits. She followed every direction and went above and beyond. I loved her updates and photos; I appreciated her kindness and attention to details. My pets said they had an amazing time with her! I would recommend her and welcome her back any time.
Esmeralda was FANTASTIC. My husband and I were out of the country for 5 days and we were in need of care for our English bulldog and senior French bulldog. Esmeralda did an outstanding job of communicating, providing gentle care, timely visits multiple times a day, doling out medications, keeping the house clean, sending follow up photos and more. I will absolutely be booking her again and would recommend her to anyone who needs professional and compassionate care for their pets.
