About: I owned my own pet sitting business for six years, and since then I have had two of my own dogs that are family to me. I work out of my house and have a lot of flexibility. For my own dog I walk her twice a day, take her to the beach sometimes or out for a pup cup! My mom used to say I don't find dogs, dogs find me! This was the case when I was 15 living in Stamford. It was a cold snowy Christmas eve and I happened to look out my back window and noticed a shivering all bones scared Sheppard in the backyard. I immediately ran outside with a treat and gained her trust. It took weeks but with the help of a vet she was nursed back to health. I convinced my parents to take her in and I named her Founder (found her). Best dog ever! Today I continue to work with stray animals as the producer of “Perros de Colombia” (search IMDB) and was fortunate to care for my beloved Miniature Schnauzer Myles for 17 years so I do understand the time and energy to not only raise a dog, but to care for another person's pet as if they were my own. I loved all of those animals very much, but by the time I went to college I had to give them all up because I wouldn't have anytime for them. So I understand animals and know that they are sentient, feeling, and living beings who need loving care from people. I also worked in several pet shops and cared for the animals there and I was a Wag Walker who walked dogs. So to sum up I am an animal person my heart goes out to all animals in need and who are suffering from neglect. I always make the effort to make their lives better than when I found them. My schedule is wide open because I am not working right now and I would really like to take in dog boarders because it will be nice to have friendly dogs to get to know. My schedule is flexible and I can accommodate any dog owner's boarding scheduling needs. The home environment is very pleasant. I have a big backyard with a huge oak tree for your dog to play under. I have fencing all over with the exception to the area next to the marsh. That part of the fence blew down in a hurricane storm. The remaining pieces of the fence are still up on the sides of the property and a section of the fence next to the driveway is gone as well. Blew down in the same hurricane storm. But I got a completely fenced in picket fence area in the front yard complete with a gate that closes. This area also allows access to the front door of my house. The marsh in the backyard has a lot of over growth reeds and marsh grass that acts as a natural barrier to keep the dog out of the marsh. I will make sure that the dog is on the leash when in the backyard just to be safe. I am located near the beach area and can take the dog on walks near there. There are many friendly dogs in my neighborhood for your dog to get to know. I have a brother that lives with me and he loves dogs too and rest assured that your dog will receive lots of love and attention from my brother and myself. I am starting work soon as a school van driver with Dattco. My schedule is a split shift schedule with a few hours in the morning and again in the afternoon. I can board your pet and take care of your pet when I'm home and for a few hours while I'm at work I will keep your pet in my apartment in a kennel cage that you will provide for me. I will leave your pet in the house with plenty of food and water and when I get home I will make sure that your pet is walked right away. And my job site is the vehicle the company provides me. I can probably take the dogs with me to work by sitting them in the front passenger seat. Provided that they behave themselves. If not then I will most likely leave them caged in a kennel cage at my apartment. I live in an area where there's the boardwalk nearby to walk the dog on and take them to the beach as well. There are a lot of dogs in that part of the neighborhood to interact with and a lot of places to go for walks on. Now that the weather is getting warmer you can expect the dogs going out with me as often as possible.

I don’t intend to have pets at my home, so I’m not quite sure what to say here, I still being in college live with my family and stay ever moving.
About: I have had dogs since I was a kid. I owned my own Golden Retriever for the past 12 yrs. I sadly lost him recently. I have watched dogs for friends for many years. Need more time with animals these days:) Cats- as a dog lover first I never thought I was a “ cat person” well I am. Love them too. Currently not working :) taking a break. With some notice or little I am very very happy to be home watching your pet. Let me know I have a cozy , clean house with a lovely fenced yard. Just missing the pitter patter of paws ❤️I have references and am in the medical field. I don’t smoke or do drugs.

While I’m new to Rover, I’ve spent years helping friends and family by watching their cats and dogs whenever they’ve needed someone they could trust. I’ll make sure doors and gates are secure, keep a close eye on your pet during walks and outdoor time, and provide regular updates with photos so you know they’re doing well.

About: I have taken care of animals all my life. Growing up we had Great Danes, German shepherds, hamsters, birds and currently my fiancé and I have an all black cat named Jake. We rescued him as a baby and love him so much. I love animals, they never let you down. When I take care of pets I treat them like my own. I enjoy walking dogs and getting them out of the house as much as possible. I believe a lot of behavioral issues such as chewing, anxiety, restlessness all can be solved with a long walk. I am a very compassionate person and you can rest easy knowing your fur babies are well taken care of when they are with me. I am almost always off on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday I start work at 3 and Sunday I work from 10:30-3:30. I can always work around my schedule. I have a 6yr old black cat named Jake. He is an indoor cat only and I take him on walks. Jake has a enclosed pet stroller that he loves to ride around in. We walk all around my neighborhood and down to the beach. I am working on getting him used to a harness but right now he is too scared to walk out of the house unless he is in the stroller. I cannot have any clients pets at my house because of my cat and also bc I rent.

About: I owned my own pet sitting business for six years, and since then I have had two of my own dogs that are family to me. I work out of my house and have a lot of flexibility. For my own dog I walk her twice a day, take her to the beach sometimes or out for a pup cup! I have a fully fenced in yard so if I were to ever provide overnight services any dog would be very safe in my backyard.

She always ensured me its not a problem and she takes care of it. This is her 2nd time keeping Bella, thus time Katie was more forthcoming with updates then the first time, which I loved. But in her defense she also had a injured arm in a high anxiety pup. So I really understood it, did not let it bother me, because I know where her focus was.And I appreciated that, but when I did reach out to her, she immediately sent me a response back and updates. Bella loves walks and she was great at walking her a few times a day. I will be going away soon and hope Katie is available to keep her. Thank you Katie.”
