“We want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Heather for taking great of our pet yorkie Winnie while we were away. Winnie is 4.5 years old and we have never left him before, so finding the right person was very important to us. We wanted an experienced person who was willing to stay in our home for two weeks to care for Winnie. In Heather we found someone who is experienced, caring, consistently communicates and sends pictures. Heather kept us informed and responded to all our messages very quickly. That was greatly appreciated. It’s clear that Winnie loved having Heather take care of him. We came home to a happy pup and were impressed how clean our house was. We appreciate Heather’s attention, patience and support, as well as her willingness to stay in our home for two weeks. Everything was in perfect shape when we returned. It gave us peace of mind knowing Winnie was in experienced, capable and caring hands. Heather also went beyond just caring for Winnie by doing a variety of things around our house, including bringing in our mail daily. Heather did a great job.”

About: To say I'm a dog lover is an understatement! I had a dog of my own, so I know the ins and outs of caring for one, and I have over 4 years of experience. I don't have the schedule yet to own a dog of my own, so caring for other dogs is the next best thing. I don't have any preference of size or energy level, so I would love to tend to the needs of yours whenever you need it. My areas of experience are pet sitting, entertaining, walking, and I have a good space for boarding, and am right in the middle of a vibrant city. I would love the opportunity to care for your dog! I have just graduated college and so I don’t start graduate school until early July. For the most part, I will be home and around so my availability is very open weekdays and weekends. I go to the gym and am pretty social, but my schedule allows me to spend ample time with your dog. From walks to car rides to days on the beach your dog will be smoothly included into my day to day! When caring for dogs in my home/apartment, I like the be around the dog playing with them or just keeping them company. Whenever I do have to leave I make sure they have the necessities like water/food, and that they are as comfortable as they can be while I’m not there. Being an athlete I am very active already, so taking a dog outside for long walks or just a scenic walk in the city/park would be my pleasure! Aside from staying active with your dog, I am a huge doggy cuddler, so if your dog loves to be up close and personal, I’m the person for you! When caring for dogs in other homes, I am sure to keep the dog entertained, and even when we’re not playing, I always keep an eye on them and keep them comfy. When walking a dog, I like to walk them through nature filled areas or places that are scenic and for a good amount of time so they themselves can enjoy the walk. Also, I have many independent clients outside of Rover so I am open to doing pay/booking outside of the app to avoid fees on both ends. Just ask!

About: I grew up around dogs and cats, especially big dogs. I started walking dogs when I was 12 or so; I got paid by dog owners in the neighborhood growing up. Since then I have gravitated to house sitting, including several overnight stays. I am comfortable with pets of all types regarding food, bathing, brushing, walking, and medical care such as pills, eyes and ear drops, etc. Caring for my own pets is, of course, a daily thing. Although now I only have three cats and no dogs at all. I have a very flexible schedule with my job, so I am able to work around that to take care of any pets when necessary. :) I like to spend time in the same room or same general area as one of my cats; I usually take naps with them. I change the litter box twice a day, give food and fresh water twice a day, brush them (when they want), and okay with them. When I had dogs, I walked them at least twice a day for 45 minutes each walk. I would brush a few times a week and bathe them once a month depending on the situation and weather. Once a week I would take them to the dog park to run around for a few hours.

“We definitely will be hiring her again! She was great with our “furry kids”, the house was spotless. The trash was taken out, the dishwasher had been ran. We recommend her!”

“Kellie was amazing! Our dog is acclimating to the area when we moved here and she sent updates, let us know how he was doing, and was just overall amazing. 100% will be using her again”

“Highly recommend Liza. Dog lover, very professional, excellent attention to detail, and very helpful.”

“Katelyn took great care of our pets (dog and 2 cats) and our house when we went away. She came to our house to meet them and us before our trip, sent us photos while we were away, and left our house very clean. We would definitely use her again!”

“We had to leave our goldendoodle for three days while out of state. She had not been left alone since being boarded at our vet 4 years ago, so we had concerns. Heather was wonderful! She came to our house twice before we left to learn our dog's habits and become familiar with her. Heather stayed at our home during our time away. She followed our dog's schedule to perfection (feeding time, potty time, nap time, bed time, play time, etc.). The day after our return, our dog was looking around for Heather. Heather also updated us regularly, including photos. I would recommend her highly, and hope to use her again.”

“Comfortable leaving our pup on long trips! Thank you Katie for letting us feel comfortable leaving our pup on long trips in our home with you. We loved getting photos and knowing he was well exercised and loved.”

About: I have grown up around dogs all my life! My neighbors, family friends and relatives have all relied on me to take care of their dogs when needed and I truly enjoy playing and spending time with animals. I am a very active person in my daily life so I love going on walks with my dog and I am more than happy to do so with yours! I am a college student home for the summer and am working various self employed jobs, therefore I am available to work around your schedule! I’ll be working some weeks from 9am-12:30pm but after that I will be at home to care for your pets! I am a very active person and go on walks on a regular basis so taking your dog on a walk rain or shine would fit in perfectly with my schedule. I have a sweet loving doggie of my own who loves company when she can get it! We have an unfenced but very private backyard with long leashes for doggies to run around how they choose! I understand the importance of schedule for dogs so I am more than happy to adjust to the routine of your pets and what they are used to as well :)
