Compassionate Caregiver
I've been pet-sitting for over ten years. I've sat for heaps of homes with various pets including dogs, cats, fish, chickens, bunnies, and even joeys! The majority of my housesits have been for households with multiple dogs of varying breeds and needs. I've cared for elderly dogs with mobility and vision impairments, reactive/anxious pups, large and small breeds with ranging energy levels. I'm experienced providing walks/play, administering medication, giving baths and brushes, prepping meals, and obviously providing all the love and attention (as is fit based on the individual pet's personality). In addition to housesits, I have experience volunteering at an animal shelter, fostering pups in South Korea, volunteering with dog and cat rescues abroad, and doing drop-in animal care visits. My focus when sitting is assuring pets feel safe and loved while away from their loved ones. I understand separation can be difficult for both pets and owners. I'm keen to provide regular updates and photos of desired, and make time apart as cruisy and comfortable as possible.

Rachel is fantastic, she has a very calm vibe that certainly made my dogs feel comfortable very quickly. She sent us lots of updates regularly—we looked forward to her pictures of the dogs and updates about how they were doing. On top of that, she is a fantastic and considerate houseguest and we would 100% recommend her and will definitely be re-booking!
Rachel has been a reliable and trustworthy dog and house sitter for me for years. She takes wonderful care of my two dogs and I always come home to tired pups. I have a large German Shepherd mix that can be a bit of a troublemaker and Rachel handles her without difficulty. I would definitely recommend Rachel!

Schedule
I am flexible with availability. I'm currently living at home with heaps of free-time, so I'm open to working with a schedule that'd work best for you whether it be full time, part time, or a one time position.
