The exciting news is Chris is an official Rover sitter who also helps care for your fur babies when you need us ! We could write a novel here to express our love for animals and how much love and care your fur babies will get if you chose us. But I will start with this: Heather : Full time Insured Pet Care Provider at the pet’s home. Primary sitter for services. I provide services in East Haven area but will consider certain jobs further away. I will come to your pet in their own home where they are most comfortable. I will care for them providing playtime, meals, exercise, potty breaks, medications if needed , walks ( for dogs 50 lbs or less) and most important, companionship. I will drop in and provide these services including long stay visits, multiple daily visits or overnight sittings if necessary. I currently have experience in taking care of Cats, Dogs, Ferrets and Fish, turtles and basic bird care. Even chickens ! I can give medication including insulin shots and I am pet care first aid certified. I have had several Senior clients with mobility issues so I can safely give breaks as needed based on your instructions if your Dog is a senior dog. We also have a senior dog. I can take your fur babies to vet or grooming appointments for the drop in rate and additional $6 gas charge . If I can not walk your dog due to my weight restrictions, I will make sure they get plenty of exercise and playtime in your yard but ask that it be secured or there is a lead for the dog(s). Is your dog over the weight restriction but is a slow walker and doesn’t pull? Ask me and maybe we can meet to determine if I can walk him or her safely. We do ask that they be vaccinated including kennel cough, rabies and on a flea/tick prevention. All three of our own dogs are up to date with everything . We will meet with your fur babies and you to introduce myself even if you don’t have an immediate need for service . I also tell all my clients that it’s good to have several options of sitters you can trust . Please allow us to become one of your options . Just message me that you would like a meet and greet and the date selected is when you would like to meet . ( put in for example 8/30 1pm drop in) . I will not charge for this meet and it will never get officially booked as a drop in . Chris: The best helper and partner I could have for my business and life ! He often will join me to visit and stay with the fur babies as extra company for them and me. He will occasionally help by staying with the fur friends overnight or for sitting jobs in order to allow us to accommodate more customers. If anyone is familiar with Hagaman Library, he is the reference librarian there . He grew up all his life in East Haven and is known by many. Chris is great with many animals and has experience with caring for them. You get two sitters for the price of one sometimes ! Heather is the primary sitter and will handle any medication administration and most required walks. Will always be involved with each fur customer and arrive at the start of every job.
