I care for pets in their home by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible to reduce stress and keep them comfortable in a familiar environment. I prioritize safety, patience, and close attention to behavior and health changes while ensuring pets receive plenty of enrichment, affection, exercise, and clean living spaces. With my veterinary background, I am also comfortable administering medications, monitoring for medical concerns, and handling pets with anxiety or special needs using low-stress, Fear Free techniques. I treat every home respectfully and every pet as if they were my own. I will always be reachable if your pets are in my care, and I love getting to sending photo updates and videos if allowed/requested! I will always have my own transportation in the case an emergency ever occurred, I have been trained in canine and feline CPR by my employer.

Maria is amazing! She is great with all of our dogs … we have 5! She goes above and beyond and even has come to help us cut their nails! She is so good with all animals!
Maria has cared for our two dogs countless times and she always goes above and beyond to make them feel safe and loved! She’s extremely detail oriented and follows the exact instructions we leave. We appreciate that she gives us updates and sends pictures when she finishes her drop-in visits. Since she has professional experience working in veterinary medicine, she’s noticed when one of our dogs was developing a mild ear infection which was really helpful! Our two dogs fell in love with her instantly and we couldn’t recommend her services enough! She is amazing!!!
Maria took exceptional care of our dog and cats while we were away. Two of our cats require medication, and she was incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive with them. She also did an amazing job caring for our dog and following his special diet and needs. Maria is compassionate, dependable, and communicates extremely well, which gave us so much peace of mind. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter!
