About: Salutations, My name is Saori and I have 15+ years caring for animals. Not only have I owned and cared for everything from rodents to livestock, but all ages of pets as well. I studied to be a vet tech and worked for places such as the Animal Medical Center in NYC then eventually became a farmer so I'm capable of helping those in need of Physical Therapy, medication from syringe to pills, and able to notice when a pet is ill and needs additional care. I am also a foster mom for dogs via Paws Rescue League and have placed more than a dozen dogs in the last 2 years. Needless to say I love animals and able to provide your dog (or cat) with the best of care. I work from home at my farm. I rarely vacation so I am home all day and able to have pets in and around my home at all times. Expect every morning that your dog will be taken to the dog park, have breakfast, and will play with other dogs on the farm all day until bedtime. If your dog has INVISIBLE FENCE brand collars we can accommodate them to free roam. I have a farm with two dog friendly dogs. My farms has fenced and gated areas, but I normally let my dogs play outside all day in nice weather. If your dog has good at recall they'll be allowed off leash, but if not they'll have a scheduled day that will include swimming, hikes and lots of pets. If you have a pet that is senior and prefers naps over playtime. We have a specially made dog room with a TV and air conditioning.

About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds from as early as I can remember. Being the oldest of my siblings I was the first to have to take on the pet care chores, and this included both our dogs and our cats, and the other types of animals we had in our household. I have pet care experience with dogs and cats, as well as other pets too. When I moved out on my own with my previous partner (2012-2017) we had adopted three rescued cats, and I was the main administer of the diabetic cat’s insulin and late IV fluid treatments. My ex kept our cats in the split, but in 2018 I adopted my first dog completely on my own. She’s a rescue pit bull mix and now, with my current husband, she is joined by another rescued pit bull mix and a rescued cat. Last year we also adopted a red ear slider turtle off the street in Philadelphia and he now enjoys his aquatic terrarium with his guppy and pleco friends. In 2023 I briefly worked for a dog walking company in Ridgefield and was bit by one of the client’s dogs, unprovoked, and because of that I left the service after being blamed for the outburst and attack (despite telling the owners and the employer that the dog was getting increasingly aggressive with me and I wasn’t comfortable walking him anymore). It was the only time I had ever had an animal turn on me like that and it made me rethink working for a service where I wasn’t listened to or given proper protection. My husband and I have been Rover clients since we moved to Connecticut in 2023 and I am very happy to say we have never had a negative experience, which is why I have decided to lend my services to other pets and families in the area that are in need of an experienced pet caretaker. I am a professional actor so I have days that are marked off for auditions and work or rehearsals, however it is not a consistent time or place. I work throughout the Northeast, NYC, and the Mid Atlantic currently with my acting opportunities, but I am also open to short term travel as well. Because of that, my availability is very open some weeks and not as much on others, depending on what projects I am currently involved in and what the scheduling is like. I would love to spend more time your pets in my downtime and give them the attention they require, since mine are pretty saturated in it regularly. I have two dogs, which are extremely friendly and love other dogs, people, and cats! Our cat is very aloof so they wouldn’t be seen much in cases where pet sitting at my home is needed. Our yard is not fenced in but I am very accustomed to taking them out for walks, or having them leashed under my supervision in our yard. Because I live in Newtown, there are plenty of places to get some quality walks in, and we are also not far from open public dog parks either if that suits your furry friend! I also have my own car which I am more than comfortable transporting your pet in or coming to you for check ins or walks. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines so that is not a worry either, and I am diligent in making sure everyone has a great time when their friends (and our human friends) are over too!

About: I've loved to cat and dog sit for my neighbors, friends, and extended family since I was young. I'm sensitive to different pets' needs and have always had a way of connecting with more timid and distrustful animals. I also have over 10 years of experience caring for and working with horses, so I'm comfortable with handling larger animals. I’m super outdoorsy so I’m always happy to take your pets out on a hike or little adventure. I used to take my aunt’s dog out to hike, camp, and swim in rivers! I’ve just graduated from college, so I have a completely open schedule! I’ll be able to go on walks multiple times a day, hang out and play in the house, and give them all the attention they need. I won’t be having your pets stay in my house, but I’m comfortable coming into your living space and accommodating your pets in their home environment. I can stay overnight in my own house or yours, whatever’s easiest!

About: I am a very active person i love being out side and going on runs or just simply going on walks. I wake up early everyday and usually go on runs and take my little puppy on walks. I live in a nice area close to town. I love all types of dogs and my schedule is very flexible being a realtor so i am always able to do walks at all times! would love to have overnight stay and would give extra love to all the dogs! I am a full time realtor so my schedule is made by me and can be very flexible. I can be pretty open with my hours. I have a fenced in yard and also own a duplex so I can house different dogs upstairs or separate if need be. I absolutely love dogs and cats so any pet will feel right at home with my care.

About: I’m a serial long-term pet sitter, and have been pet sitting through Rover for several years! Our family- myself, my partner, Will, our 9 year old son & 5 year old daughter- are huge animal fans! I’ve owned dogs, cats, fish, and lizards myself. We currently have an outgoing, friendly, & vocal black cat named Calzone and a Tetra tank we affectionately call “The Kids”. I am the go-to pet sitter for several family members, friends, and neighbors. We have had pets stay with us for long term stays. So, long term & frequent stays are A-OK… your pet will be cared for like part of the family. I am comfortable caring for farm/hobby farm animals at your home as well. We moved to Bethel (Will & I grew up in the area) in 2024 from our home in Fairfield where we lived for almost 10 years & where I started with Rover! Our home is a single family farmhouse with a huge open yard, meadow, and ponds, abutting wooded trails and a short walk to Huntington Park. Our yard is not fenced, and although our street is relatively quiet, we always are with our visitor dogs when outside. Dogs with strong prey drive might not be a good fit for stays at our house, but could be a great fit for care in your home, walks, etc.

About: I’m reliable, communicative, and will always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ve been around and caring for dogs for most of my life, including my own dog Max, who I got when I was 14 and truly consider my soul dog. He passed away in July 2025 from complications related to megaesophagus, but for a year and a half before that, I helped manage his condition after we were initially told he only had 30 days to live. That experience taught me so much about patience, consistency, and providing attentive, specialized care. Because of these experiences, I’m especially comfortable with dogs who may need extra patience, have medical needs, or experience anxiety. I work full-time during the week, but I’m always available for morning and evening visits, including feeding, walks, playtime, and general care. I’m off every other weekend, as well as some Mondays and Fridays, which gives me extra flexibility for longer visits or overnight stays. I’m also happy to accommodate overnight care when needed, so your pet can stick to their normal routine and feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m reliable, communicative, and will make sure your pet gets consistent care and attention. In a client’s home, I aim to keep things as consistent as possible—following feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m comfortable with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes or picking up after pets, and making sure they get plenty of attention and care. I also make sure your home is respected and kept tidy while you’re away. For overnight stays, I help maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable in their environment.

About: I have 2 labs (1 lab German Shepard mix and 1 lab), who love to play and romp around, as well as the finer things in life like relaxation.My working schedule allows me to work from home full time, huge plus for the pups and kiddos. We travel about once a year for 2 weeks, and mostly spend our time in town as our boys do sports. I was a dog walker and sitter for 2 years in college, had a dog growing up as a child and I’ve rescued and adopted 5 pups with my husband. Since I'm use to the early mornings, walking the fur babies early is not a problem. I believe a tired dog is a happy dog and I try to make sure they get as much play time and attention as needed. Treating the fur babies as family members, means they have their beds, own couch, toys and free range in our house.

About: Growing up my family always had a dog. Over the years we have had a total of three. I am lucky to be a dog dad myself now of my beautiful rescue Lola. Having her as a few month old puppy, my fiancée and I were able to train her so I do have experience and patience with puppies, along with older dogs as well. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I can do morning or evening visits or walks depending on what works for you and your pet! What I find works best is to meet with the dog and owner before hand to find out what kind of routine works best for them, what toys they like to play with, favorite treats ect. I have experience with, puppies, all size, all type of dog breeds, kittens, cats, birds, sugar gliders, lizards, ferrets, etc. I have boarded animals in the past and taken extra care of them while owners are away. I am compassionate, patient, and am an animal lover at heart. I'm 44, a vintage lover and vegan. I am a dog owner myself and have had my own dog cared for during vacations. I have a 13 year old baby chihuahua (she will always be my baby). I also had a 100lb+ pup up until a couple years ago. I have grown up around cats since I was 14 as well, my partner I live with has a 3 year old cat that I care for as well. I will take care of your dog/cat like I would want mine to be taken care of. Your pup will enjoy my company as I will try to entertain your dog and send you updates as much as possible while you are away so that you can relax knowing your baby is in good hands. I currently make my own schedule and I do have obligations but I can be super flexible and for the most part I can work from anywhere. I currently am not offering to pet sit in my own home as there is not enough room. But I’m happy to sit at yours.
