About: I have taken care of cats and dogs my whole life. I have fostered rescue puppies for five years now. I have also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for two years. I am just graduated from college so I am available throughout the week or weekends. I can start booking appointments after June 9th! This includes dog or cat pet sitting, dog walking, or overnights! Cleanliness is also very important to me—I keep feeding areas, litter boxes, and living spaces clean and comfortable at all times. About: Hello! My name is Nita, and I’m a lifelong animal lover who would be delighted to care for your pets as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve had experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, and even mice. Our beloved Border Collie, Jasmine, was part of our family for 12 wonderful years, and she gave us countless happy memories. I also regularly cared for my grand dog a sweet Lab mix, Benny. I currently share my home with our spirited lovebird, Gourdon Loveblossom, who is 3½ years old. We even had a goldfish named Goldie who recently passed away amazingly at 23 years old! I’m also a proud “grand-cat” sitter for HB and Kenny in Monroe. They especially enjoy being pushed around the neighborhood in their stroller on beautiful days. I walk a minimum of 10,000 steps every day and would truly enjoy having furry companions join me for walks and outdoor time. I am reliable and punctual, I prefer to live in the same area nearby to my clients. I like to keep my pet care visits in a 10-ish mile radius of my home. About: I am a semi retired veterinary assistant with nearly 20 years professional experience and a passion for caring for animals. As a life long pet owner myself, I know how hard and stressful it can be to leave your pets at home. I appreciate and respect the trust that every owner puts in me when they contact me to care for their animal. I can give medications if needed, including injections. Also have worked in shelters and volunteer at rescues. I have taken care of senior dogs and cats. Feeding, walking, playing or if they have any special needs is not a problem. I have a flexible schedule and open to working with you to arrange drop in visits. Mid morning through later afternoons are open for me. If you need another time, just let me know. I'm happy to do whatever your pets need, whether they want to play, walk or just hang out. If they are a little shy and need time to get used to me is totally understandable, I will follow their cues. I will take my time to learn what they need and adapt to them. The goal is always to keep them as stress free as possible.

About: I am a mom to three human children, three dogs, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! Additionally, I could put more efforts in to helping people through the love of animals in need! Making the adoption process easy and fun, and making sure the humans and the pets are a wonderful match have made my rescue quite successful! Over the past 11 years I have rescued thousands of dogs, hundreds of cats, and three horses from shelters and other high risk situations! Throughout my years of taking care of pets, I have care for basically every age, breed, size, and temperament! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. I’ve been around and caring for dogs for most of my life, including my own dog Max, who I got when I was 14 and truly consider my soul dog. He passed away in July 2025 from complications related to megaesophagus, but for a year and a half before that, I helped manage his condition after we were initially told he only had 30 days to live. That experience taught me so much about patience, consistency, and providing attentive, specialized care. Because of these experiences, I’m especially comfortable with dogs who may need extra patience, have medical needs, or experience anxiety. I work full-time during the week, but I’m always available for morning and evening visits, including feeding, walks, playtime, and general care. I’m off every other weekend, as well as some Mondays and Fridays, which gives me extra flexibility for longer visits or overnight stays. I’m also happy to accommodate overnight care when needed, so your pet can stick to their normal routine and feel comfortable while you’re away. About: I have had cats since I was a baby and had chow chow dogs since I was 13 years old. I also worked at a kennel off and on for 12.5 years. I learned a little training but not a lot. I have worked with all different breeds of dogs. I love snuggling with cats as I grew up with having them in my household. I currently work full time however, full time is 30 hours for me so it allows me to have 3 to 4 days off towards the end of the week depending on the week. We have a large back yard with a dog run and as far as my cat. He is an indoor cat and gets spoiled indoors.

About: I previously co-founded a dog training business, managing client relationships and operations, but I have since stepped away from it. Prior to that, I worked for Coaching for Paws, a renowned dog training business in northern Connecticut. I have been working with dogs for around five years and have experience with training basic obedience, dog walking, dog sitting, and overall care. I currently have most weekdays free to dedicate to your pups’ needs, which allows me to provide consistent attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means going on walks, playing, feeding, or simply keeping them company. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and have had dogs and cats of my own my whole life. My family currently has two rescue cats, Henry and Willow. I’m available to sit for your pet in your home, for either daily walks and exercise or overnight! I’m very flexible with my schedule and would love to help care for your pet as if they were my own. I am experienced in administering medication, and I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of any age. I’ve also taken care of rabbits, fish, hamsters, birds and guinea pigs. About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds from as early as I can remember. Being the oldest of my siblings I was the first to have to take on the pet care chores, and this included both our dogs and our cats, and the other types of animals we had in our household. I have pet care experience with dogs and cats, as well as other pets too. When I moved out on my own with my previous partner (2012-2017) we had adopted three rescued cats, and I was the main administer of the diabetic cat’s insulin and late IV fluid treatments. My ex kept our cats in the split, but in 2018 I adopted my first dog completely on my own. She’s a rescue pit bull mix and now, with my current husband, she is joined by another rescued pit bull mix and a rescued cat. Last year we also adopted a red ear slider turtle off the street in Philadelphia and he now enjoys his aquatic terrarium with his guppy and pleco friends. In 2023 I briefly worked for a dog walking company in Ridgefield and was bit by one of the client’s dogs, unprovoked, and because of that I left the service after being blamed for the outburst and attack (despite telling the owners and the employer that the dog was getting increasingly aggressive with me and I wasn’t comfortable walking him anymore). It was the only time I had ever had an animal turn on me like that and it made me rethink working for a service where I wasn’t listened to or given proper protection. My husband and I have been Rover clients since we moved to Connecticut in 2023 and I am very happy to say we have never had a negative experience, which is why I have decided to lend my services to other pets and families in the area that are in need of an experienced pet caretaker. I am a professional actor so I have days that are marked off for auditions and work or rehearsals, however it is not a consistent time or place. I work throughout the Northeast, NYC, and the Mid Atlantic currently with my acting opportunities, but I am also open to short term travel as well. Because of that, my availability is very open some weeks and not as much on others, depending on what projects I am currently involved in and what the scheduling is like. I would love to spend more time your pets in my downtime and give them the attention they require, since mine are pretty saturated in it regularly. I have two dogs, which are extremely friendly and love other dogs, people, and cats! Our cat is very aloof so they wouldn’t be seen much in cases where pet sitting at my home is needed. Our yard is not fenced in but I am very accustomed to taking them out for walks, or having them leashed under my supervision in our yard. Because I live in Newtown, there are plenty of places to get some quality walks in, and we are also not far from open public dog parks either if that suits your furry friend! I also have my own car which I am more than comfortable transporting your pet in or coming to you for check ins or walks. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines so that is not a worry either, and I am diligent in making sure everyone has a great time when their friends (and our human friends) are over too!

About: I have been a dog enthusiast. I have experience with large breeds. Turtles. Rabbits. I love to walk dogs and work one on one with them. I live in a nice area close to town. I love all types of dogs and my schedule is very flexible being a realtor so i am always able to do walks at all times! would love to have overnight stay and would give extra love to all the dogs! I am a full time realtor so my schedule is made by me and can be very flexible. I can be pretty open with my hours. I have a fenced in yard and also own a duplex so I can house different dogs upstairs or separate if need be. I absolutely love dogs and cats so any pet will feel right at home with my care.
