About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who can’t imagine life without dogs. My family has two dogs that I grew up with, and they’ve been such a huge part of my life. Over the past 8 years, I’ve cared for cats and dogs, both large and small breeds, giving me experience with a wide variety of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I truly believe dogs are one of the best things on earth. Their love, cuteness and personalities make every day better. While I can’t have a dog of my own right now due to where I live, caring for other people’s dogs gives me the opportunity to share that love and spend time doing something I genuinely enjoy. About: I have 2 labs (1 lab German Shepard mix and 1 lab), who love to play and romp around, as well as the finer things in life like relaxation.My working schedule allows me to work from home full time, huge plus for the pups and kiddos. We travel about once a year for 2 weeks, and mostly spend our time in town as our boys do sports. I was a dog walker and sitter for 2 years in college, had a dog growing up as a child and I’ve rescued and adopted 5 pups with my husband. Since I'm use to the early mornings, walking the fur babies early is not a problem. I believe a tired dog is a happy dog and I try to make sure they get as much play time and attention as needed. Treating the fur babies as family members, means they have their beds, own couch, toys and free range in our house.

About: I am a semi retired veterinary assistant with nearly 20 years professional experience and a passion for caring for animals. As a life long pet owner myself, I know how hard and stressful it can be to leave your pets at home. I appreciate and respect the trust that every owner puts in me when they contact me to care for their animal. I can give medications if needed, including injections. Also have worked in shelters and volunteer at rescues. I have taken care of senior dogs and cats. Feeding, walking, playing or if they have any special needs is not a problem. I have a flexible schedule and open to working with you to arrange drop in visits. Mid morning through later afternoons are open for me. If you need another time, just let me know. I'm happy to do whatever your pets need, whether they want to play, walk or just hang out. If they are a little shy and need time to get used to me is totally understandable, I will follow their cues. I will take my time to learn what they need and adapt to them. The goal is always to keep them as stress free as possible.

About: I've been taking care of my own dog since we first got her 7 years ago, and I also used to volunteer at the New Milford Animal Shelter. My family fosters animals (both cats and dogs) from Because 4 Paws in New Milford, so I have some basic experience with administering medicines and helping others administer medicines. I've also been a dog sitter for 3 different families. I recently moved back to the east coast and am looking for some side work while I hunt for a full time job. I'm not sure when that will be, so I'm trying not to set my availability too far out, but am still flexible for now! Depending on what the owners are comfortable with, I would love to take the dogs out for a walk at a nearby park or walking trail. We have four cats at our house that are wary of new animals, so I am unable to pet sit at my residence. However, I am willing to spend time with your fur babies at your house or preferred location, and will follow whatever instructions necessary to ensure the comfortability of you and your pets.

About: Growing up, I had a Lab and then a Boxer and two cats. I've also helped my aunt at the doggie daycare she runs out of her home where she often has more than 10 dogs at a time. Everything from a Great Pyrenees to German Shepherds to Doodles to Yorkies. And it's always so much fun! The care I'll give your pets will really depend on them and their needs. There's a very large unfenced grass area behind my apartment building that would be perfect for walks or play. And there are multiple parks in the area too we could explore. At yours, I'd keep whatever their normal routine is. Whether that's taking walks, throwing the ball or just sitting and chilling and scratching butts. Their butts of course! About: Hi, I’m Steph and I am a senior Veterinary Nursing major currently working in practice at as vet assistant in Shelton. Most of our classes have hands-on training and scenarios which translate into real world veterinary skills. I have been in the field for about 6 years now, I started volunteering at a local SPCA and immediately fell in love and knew that I wanted to work with animals forever! During my time as a vet nursing student I have completed courses such as Animal Disease & Nutrition, Anatomy & Physiology, Pharmacology, Parasitology, Radiology, Surgical Nursing and more! I have been able to worked in multiple animal care environments including veterinary hospitals, daycares, and shelters. Caring for animals and being able to help and care for them when other people can’t is truly my passion and what keeps me going in my field of work! All bookings can easily fit around my school schedule. Right now I am only taking a couple courses, so I am very flexible! I prefer to not stay at a clients home full time for days in a row, however again I can be flexible with the circumstances :) I live in an apartment complex that is animal friendly, I am a little OCD so my place is kept pretty tidy. I have a terrier/mix Cooper and a cat Reid who free roam the apartment at all times we have never had to crate either of them, but can if necessary(Also can separate cat if your pet isn’t cat friendly). Both are fed and cooper is walked relatively at the same times everyday, and are up to date on their exams & vaccinations (paperwork available). In other clients home I make it my priority to respect the wishes of the client. I understand everyone has their own way of doings things and that’s completely okay! I always keep my front door locked at home so I am very good at remembering to lock up after I leave.
