About: I am a dog owner of two male lab mixed breed dogs. I have previous experience at vet, in home pet care, and puppy training! I am available for local visits or boarding over the summer. Dogs will have access to fenced in yard and deck. Your dog will become part of our family when you are away! I have a fenced in yard and two pups to would love another playmate. Dogs will have their own bedroom with optional crate and bed.

I make sure doors are secure, hazards are avoided, and your pet is always supervised and safe. I also keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel confident while you’re away. I’m very attentive to behavior and body language, which helps me quickly notice if something feels off. My background as a caregiver has made me especially detail-oriented, patient, and calm in any situation. Cleanliness is also very important to me—I keep feeding areas, litter boxes, and living spaces clean and comfortable at all times. About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds from as early as I can remember. Being the oldest of my siblings I was the first to have to take on the pet care chores, and this included both our dogs and our cats, and the other types of animals we had in our household. I have pet care experience with dogs and cats, as well as other pets too. When I moved out on my own with my previous partner (2012-2017) we had adopted three rescued cats, and I was the main administer of the diabetic cat’s insulin and late IV fluid treatments. My ex kept our cats in the split, but in 2018 I adopted my first dog completely on my own. She’s a rescue pit bull mix and now, with my current husband, she is joined by another rescued pit bull mix and a rescued cat. Last year we also adopted a red ear slider turtle off the street in Philadelphia and he now enjoys his aquatic terrarium with his guppy and pleco friends. In 2023 I briefly worked for a dog walking company in Ridgefield and was bit by one of the client’s dogs, unprovoked, and because of that I left the service after being blamed for the outburst and attack (despite telling the owners and the employer that the dog was getting increasingly aggressive with me and I wasn’t comfortable walking him anymore). It was the only time I had ever had an animal turn on me like that and it made me rethink working for a service where I wasn’t listened to or given proper protection. My husband and I have been Rover clients since we moved to Connecticut in 2023 and I am very happy to say we have never had a negative experience, which is why I have decided to lend my services to other pets and families in the area that are in need of an experienced pet caretaker. I am a professional actor so I have days that are marked off for auditions and work or rehearsals, however it is not a consistent time or place. I work throughout the Northeast, NYC, and the Mid Atlantic currently with my acting opportunities, but I am also open to short term travel as well. Because of that, my availability is very open some weeks and not as much on others, depending on what projects I am currently involved in and what the scheduling is like. I would love to spend more time your pets in my downtime and give them the attention they require, since mine are pretty saturated in it regularly. I have two dogs, which are extremely friendly and love other dogs, people, and cats! Our cat is very aloof so they wouldn’t be seen much in cases where pet sitting at my home is needed. Our yard is not fenced in but I am very accustomed to taking them out for walks, or having them leashed under my supervision in our yard. Because I live in Newtown, there are plenty of places to get some quality walks in, and we are also not far from open public dog parks either if that suits your furry friend! I also have my own car which I am more than comfortable transporting your pet in or coming to you for check ins or walks. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines so that is not a worry either, and I am diligent in making sure everyone has a great time when their friends (and our human friends) are over too!

About: There are multiple reasons why I would be the perfect person to take care of your pet! I worked at Guiding eyes for the Blind where I helped train and care for labs and German shepherds. I have worked at a dog kennel and a veterinary center where I provide top care to the client's pets. I aid dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, healthy to unwell, teacup to gigantic. I have also dog sat for multiple friends for days on end. I currently have a 14 year old lab mix that I have taken care of since I was a teenager. I also have a 2 year old lab pup with tons of energy. I prefer to hike my dogs in the woods and let them explore and chase the squirrels. We play fetch and tug of war. I could do the same with your dog! With this experience, I know that dogs need lots of care and love with some fun and snuggles! I am currently going to school to be an ultrasound technician and would love some extra work on the side. My schedule changes with each semester but the best type of study breaks are outside and playing with fur babies. I will follow your instructions closely on how to properly care for your pet. I will make sure that safety is the number one concern to make sure that everyone is well taken care of.

About: Since childhood, I’ve owned multiple dog breeds, cats, rabbits, and birds. I have experience in working with many different sized animals, many different breeds, and animals that can be more challenging. I volunteer in an animal assisted therapy program that caters to children with special needs, in addition to my career as a hairstylist. 🐶 🦮 🐾 I will be caring for your animals in your home, walking them outside in your neighborhood, or at a local park if you’re comfortable. I’m currently unable to care for or board any other animals in my own home.

I also have a senior dog and a puppy that I am used to caring for. My schedule is completely flexible and I am able to work around the needs of your pups. I am also able to board your pets for a week if needed! I have a huge open backyard for your dogs to play around. I also have 2 dogs of my own at home who like to play. If needed, I can also crate your dog as well.
