About: I previously co-founded a dog training business, managing client relationships and operations, but I have since stepped away from it. Prior to that, I worked for Coaching for Paws, a renowned dog training business in northern Connecticut. I have been working with dogs for around five years and have experience with training basic obedience, dog walking, dog sitting, and overall care. I currently have most weekdays free to dedicate to your pups’ needs, which allows me to provide consistent attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means going on walks, playing, feeding, or simply keeping them company. Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to accommodate different care needs and maintain reliable routines for pets, helping them feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I have lots of experience with different dogs and understand the needs of dogs and owners. I am able to meet any needs or criteria.
About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I have two cats of my own, and over the years I’ve cared for several dogs, so I truly understand the unique personalities and energy each pet brings. Since I’m retired, I have a very open and flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive, consistent care and be fully present for your pet. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive to each pet’s unique routine and preferences. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I take that responsibility to heart. I’ll always keep you updated so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
About: Began dog walking service when I was a kid. Been talking care of a dog baby of my own for 6 years now. I like to let dogs explore and be animals. I'm not a good dog walker for you if you have them so trained that you have erased their sense of wonder. I take my dog running everyday because that's what dogs need and deserve. I love dogs more than anything and will love yours too. I take my dog to a nearby field to let her run off leash, so I am comfortable taking your dog off leash if you would like that! I am happy to dog sit small dogs in my home and sit any size dogs at your home. Look forward to meeting you! I am a hybrid-remote worker with free time throughout the week and weekends to care for your pup. Happy to help and get some fresh air! I have been a dog walker in the past. Can provide a reference if needed. I am very clean and will wipe your dogs paws and dry their fur so as not to wreck your home in rainy weather and winter months.
About: There are multiple reasons why I would be the perfect person to take care of your pet! I worked at Guiding eyes for the Blind where I helped train and care for labs and German shepherds. I have worked at a dog kennel and a veterinary center where I provide top care to the client's pets. I aid dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, healthy to unwell, teacup to gigantic. I have also dog sat for multiple friends for days on end. I currently have a 14 year old lab mix that I have taken care of since I was a teenager. I also have a 2 year old lab pup with tons of energy. I prefer to hike my dogs in the woods and let them explore and chase the squirrels. We play fetch and tug of war. I could do the same with your dog! With this experience, I know that dogs need lots of care and love with some fun and snuggles! I am currently going to school to be an ultrasound technician and would love some extra work on the side. My schedule changes with each semester but the best type of study breaks are outside and playing with fur babies. I will follow your instructions closely on how to properly care for your pet. I will make sure that safety is the number one concern to make sure that everyone is well taken care of.
“Overall, I would rate Lindsay as a good pet-sitter. Prior to our vacation, she was very timely in responding to my messages and she also modified the Rover.com charges to a very reasonable rate for her visits with our 2 cats. It was while we were gone that I felt she fell short. My first issue was with her inconsistency in providing updates on the visits - there was a photo and thorough recap on the 1st day, but on subsequent days there was less detail and on one day there was no update at all. My second issue was with the timing of her visits. I had made it very clear that it was important to check in during the early afternoon, but at least twice she didn't visit until the evening. My third issue was with attention to detail - I had left very specific notes about the cats' food/water/litter and it didn't seem that she had followed them. Lastly, my greatest concern was with the well-being of our female cat and her being bullied by the male cat in our absence. We came back to find that she had a facial injury and had urinated in a chair out of fear. All-in-all our pets were reasonably cared for, but I was definitely disappointed. Lindsay is a very nice girl and I'm sure she had the best intentions. I think the issues may have been due to lack of experience or perhaps I wasn't clear enough on stressing the importance of certain things. (To those reading this review, please note that I have very high expectations for the care of my pets and I think Lindsay is absolutely capable of meeting the needs of a less demanding client.)”

“Anne was super easy to work with and did a great job checking in my cats while I was away! She sent pictures and even managed to coax out my anxious cat which I really did not expect at all. She did some playing with my friendlier girl and made sure all their needs were taken care of. I really appreciate having her stop in and I know that the next time I need a sitter I'll book Anne again! Thank you!”
“Vera stepped in as a last-minute replacement, and I’m so grateful she did! She followed all of my detailed instructions and was very intuitive with my persnickety cat. She also sent very charming and kind updates. Highly recommend!”

“Emily is sweet and loving. She clearly loves animals and our two pups love her. Emily is dependable and prompt and quickly responds. We are planning to have her back on regular schedule.”

About: I’ve spent several summers caring for both cats and dogs as well as having them in my house growing up! I absolutely love giving them the attention they deserve, whether that’s playtime, walks, or cuddle time. As a 20 year old college student, I bring lots of energy, patience, and genuine love for animals. I enjoy making pets feel safe, happy, and cared for like they’re part of my own family I currently am a college student with mostly early morning classes, so I am up pretty early. I also am a soccer coach for Wilmington hammer heads which is about 2 hours Monday, Wednesday, Thursday nights. Other than that I am extremely flexible and am never busy for long periods of time! Whether I’m in my home or a client’s, safety and comfort always come first. I make sure pets have a clean, secure space, follow their normal routines, and give them plenty of attention so they feel at ease. My goal is to create an environment where pets are happy, loved, and cared for just like they would be with their family.
“Claire was great with my cats and took every measure to ensure they were well cared for. I would recommend her to anyone, especially those with pets who need special attention, and would have her cat sit any time :)”

About: "I have a deep love for animals and years of experience caring for pets. Family and friends have always trusted me to watch, feed, walk, and love their dogs. I specialize in providing a calm, structured, and incredibly safe environment for small and medium adult dogs. Your pup will receive constant attention, plenty of playtime, and treated just like family while staying with me." "I currently work part-time, which gives me a very steady routine and plenty of open flexibility to be home with your dog. I am always mindful of my time management to ensure your pet gets consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, and lots of individual attention. I have plenty of dedicated time to play, go for walks, and make sure your pup feels completely safe, happy, and pampered while you are away." Safety is my highest priority when caring for your pet. My home is a clean, calm, and smoke-free environment with plenty of open space for small and medium dogs to feel entirely at ease. I maintain a secure setup to ensure no escapes, provide constant direct supervision, and strictly follow any specific care, feeding, or routine instructions you provide to keep your pup happy and safe."
About: I'm currently volunteering at Whiskers Cat Rescue cleaning cages and socializing cats. I am comfortable administering medications to cats. I have owned a small dog in the past. My current cats are a wobbly boy with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and a super senior (21yrs!) old lady cat. My schedule is really flexible right now. I'm not free a few times through the week and weekend but for no longer than a few hours. I'm very patient with animals, especially more skittish ones. You need to work with them even if it takes time to develop a relationship or trust.
About: Hi! My name is Courtney, and I’m a registered nurse with a lifelong love for animals. Caring for others is what I do every day—both professionally and personally—and that same level of compassion, attentiveness, and responsibility carries over into how I care for pets. I grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, goats, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, and birds. Because of this, I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, needs, and care routines. I currently have a one-year-old dog who means everything to me, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I will treat your animals with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. Whether it’s dog walking, drop-in visits, or pet sitting, my goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving you peace of mind. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and happy to follow any specific instructions to maintain your pet’s routine.
“Our kitties are in amazing hands when Priscilla cares for them. I love getting the report cards and photos. We are so comfortable when we go away, knowing that our home and boys are safe.”
