“Overall, I would rate Lindsay as a good pet-sitter. Prior to our vacation, she was very timely in responding to my messages and she also modified the Rover.com charges to a very reasonable rate for her visits with our 2 cats. It was while we were gone that I felt she fell short. My first issue was with her inconsistency in providing updates on the visits - there was a photo and thorough recap on the 1st day, but on subsequent days there was less detail and on one day there was no update at all. My second issue was with the timing of her visits. I had made it very clear that it was important to check in during the early afternoon, but at least twice she didn't visit until the evening. My third issue was with attention to detail - I had left very specific notes about the cats' food/water/litter and it didn't seem that she had followed them. Lastly, my greatest concern was with the well-being of our female cat and her being bullied by the male cat in our absence. We came back to find that she had a facial injury and had urinated in a chair out of fear. All-in-all our pets were reasonably cared for, but I was definitely disappointed. Lindsay is a very nice girl and I'm sure she had the best intentions. I think the issues may have been due to lack of experience or perhaps I wasn't clear enough on stressing the importance of certain things. (To those reading this review, please note that I have very high expectations for the care of my pets and I think Lindsay is absolutely capable of meeting the needs of a less demanding client.)”

About: I genuinely enjoy caring for cats of all ages from kittens to seniors. I have been a cat mom for almost 30 years now, learning from the diversity of cat experiences and personalities. I love their quirkiness and companionship. I would care for your cats as I care for my own, with kindness, respect, and common sense. I will read and follow instructions. I will not leave doors open. I will make sure they eat what they’re supposed to be eating and observe for any signs of distress. I will spend quality time with your kitties so they feel loved while you are away! I have a somewhat flexible schedule with remote work days. Weekends are flexible. In most cases, I would be able to make morning and evening cat care visits. I prefer to care for cats in their own home environment. However, we do have the option of several private, closed off areas in our home to host a cat traveler, if needed.

About: I am a mom to three human children, six dogs, two cats, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! Additionally, I could put more efforts in to helping people through the love of animals in need! Making the adoption process easy and fun, and making sure the humans and the pets are a wonderful match have made my rescue quite successful! Over the past 11 years I have rescued thousands of dogs, hundreds of cats, and three horses from shelters and other high risk situations! Between the two of us, at least one of us is home every day - we would love to provide a home away from home for your pet! Our goal is to provide the most compassionate, safe, and responsible care for your pet. Our house is set back from the road on 100+ acres of conservation land where we can hike and explore with your dog. Our house is roomy and comfortable, and we strive to provide whatever your dog needs. We also value enrichment for pets - we hope your dog will learn, grow, and be stimulated while with us. We also live right next door to my father, who is a veterinarian and available for any questions we might have. We have a new addition to our family and welcomed in a baby boy in June 2025. Since then, we are accepting new clients with smaller dogs and sometimes larger dogs if they are older or laid back. We do have a soft spot for our older guests and love to keep them comfortable and pampered. We live in a one story house, so there are minimal steps. We try to mimic your own schedule at home. And one of us is home every day so we're able to provide the best care possible. We have a small fenced in area outside our front door, mostly for safety in coming in and out of the house. Outside of that area, I leash walk your dogs (until we have a larger fenced in area). We have gates inside to give dogs their own space if/when they want it. If you pet is more comfortable in a crate during bedtimes or short times alone, we can provide that as well. We are diligent regarding medication, feeding instructions, and medical concerns. We also will keep you up to date on how the stay is going and welcome you to reach out anytime.

About: I’ve taken care of a multitude of different animals dating back to before I can remember. I have an abundance of experience with big pups and many other sizes. I currently have only one medium rescue and live in a house with a yard. I have experience with many with dogs who are hesitant and scared of new people. About: Hi, my name is Marley, I am currently studying my undergraduate degree at Oregon State University. Since I was 10 years old, I have volunteered at local dog and cat shelters whenever I have a couple open hours within the day: CPR (Companion Pet Rescue, Southbury CT), Heartland Humane Society (Corvallis OR), and Safe Haven Humane Society (Tangent OR). I have been dog sitting and cat sitting for local families for over 5 years just to help out and absolutely love it. I am always responsible of a pet’s health and prioritize them always. I currently have a part-time job where I do not work longer 5 hours in a day, I am also taking classes come September 24, but will easily prioritize checking in on your animals and making the time to care for them! I think that one of the most important jobs as a pet sitter is making sure nothing is rushed, which is why I spend as much time as needed with the animals I watch. I think it is crucial to make sure the animals are happy and healthy both when I arrive and when I leave. I love to take dogs on long walks, play with them outside, and give them the care they need (from feeding to outside time). As for cats, I think they deserve the same amount of attention and I will never pass up the opportunity to give a cat some pets!
About: I have been a dog enthusiast. I have experience with large breeds. Turtles. Rabbits. I love to walk dogs and work one on one with them. Available to help anytime especially in the VALLEY AREA ;) Have experience with large breed dogs. Especially love mastiffs. Bulldogs. And french bulldogs. Pitbulls and fast moving dogs I have 2 french bulldogs currently with a fenced yard. And access to seperate dogs. I love animals and can relate to them to ease their anxiety.
About: I have several years of paid and volunteer experience with all animals, including dogs, cats, fish, chickens, rabbits, horses, and goats. Growing up, I had two dogs, one small and one medium. I also used to volunteer at a therapeutic horse-riding center for people with disabilities, where I groomed horses and cleaned their barns. I currently have two guinea pigs who are contained in cages, but are very curious, playful, and friendly with other animals. I'm an incoming Master's student who is currently working part-time this summer. I have a highly flexible schedule and short commute times, which gives me more time to care for your pets! I have spacious front and back yards where your pet can roam. I also have a doggy gate to block off the upstairs of my house if necessary, but our downstairs and upstairs are very dog-proof from years of caring for our previous pets. I live in a 3-bedroom home, providing ample room for your pet to explore and wander inside if they prefer the indoors. I also have dog bowls, leashes, toys, and food, ready for use.
“Emily is the best! She has been doing weekly walks with my husky and he loves it. She always gives me great reports on how the walk went and let’s me know if anything happened I need to know. This week she let me know he had a few instances of vomiting during the walk and turned out he had an obstruction that required emergency surgery. Without her due diligence I might not have caught it in time. Such a fantastic pet guru!”
About: I'm currently volunteering at Whiskers Cat Rescue cleaning cages and socializing cats. I am comfortable administering medications to cats. I have owned a small dog in the past. My current cats are a wobbly boy with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and a super senior (21yrs!) old lady cat. My schedule is really flexible right now. I'm not free a few times through the week and weekend but for no longer than a few hours. I'm very patient with animals, especially more skittish ones. You need to work with them even if it takes time to develop a relationship or trust.
About: I have had cats since I was a baby and had chow chow dogs since I was 13 years old. I also worked at a kennel off and on for 12.5 years. I learned a little training but not a lot. I have worked with all different breeds of dogs. I love snuggling with cats as I grew up with having them in my household. I currently work full time however, full time is 30 hours for me so it allows me to have 3 to 4 days off towards the end of the week depending on the week. We have a large back yard with a dog run and as far as my cat. He is an indoor cat and gets spoiled indoors.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, my first dog was a boxer, second was a miniature schnauzer, and current dog is a cocker spaniel poodle mix. I care deeply about all animals, I’m an environmentalist pet lover. Currently working part time at T-Mobile, my schedule is very flexible so that leaves me with plenty of time to love and care for pets. Strict walking, playing, and feeding schedule. At least thirty minutes of exercise a day, providing lots and lots of love and affection towards my pets every day.
