Cat Sitting Bridgewater

About: I'm currently volunteering at Whiskers Cat Rescue cleaning cages and socializing cats. I am comfortable administering medications to cats. I have owned a small dog in the past. My current cats are a wobbly boy with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and a super senior (21yrs!) old lady cat. My schedule is really flexible right now. I'm not free a few times through the week and weekend but for no longer than a few hours. I'm very patient with animals, especially more skittish ones. You need to work with them even if it takes time to develop a relationship or trust.

About: Hello! My name is Nita, and I’m a lifelong animal lover who would be delighted to care for your pets as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve had experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, and even mice. Our beloved Border Collie, Jasmine, was part of our family for 12 wonderful years, and she gave us countless happy memories. I also regularly cared for my grand dog a sweet Lab mix, Benny. I currently share my home with our spirited lovebird, Gourdon Loveblossom, who is 3½ years old. We even had a goldfish named Goldie who recently passed away amazingly at 23 years old! I’m also a proud “grand-cat” sitter for HB and Kenny in Monroe. They especially enjoy being pushed around the neighborhood in their stroller on beautiful days. I walk a minimum of 10,000 steps every day and would truly enjoy having furry companions join me for walks and outdoor time. I understand that every animal has its own personality, routines, and comfort needs, and I always aim to make pets feel safe, relaxed, and loved. I am reliable and punctual, I prefer to live in the same area near my clients. I like to keep my pet care visits in a 10-ish mile radius of my home. This enables me to get to them fast without worrying about traffic, distance or delays.

About: I've had cats my entire life & I have a few years experience pet sitting for and walking dogs and would love for it to become a regular part of my life again. I enjoy spending time with animals sometimes more than people. I'm a college student and a caregiver currently so feel free to reach out with questions about availability. About: I've been taking care of my own dog since we first got her 7 years ago, and I also used to volunteer at the New Milford Animal Shelter. My family fosters animals (both cats and dogs) from Because 4 Paws in New Milford, so I have some basic experience with administering medicines and helping others administer medicines. I've also been a dog sitter for 3 different families. I recently moved back to the east coast and am looking for some side work while I hunt for a full time job. I'm not sure when that will be, so I'm trying not to set my availability too far out, but am still flexible for now! Depending on what the owners are comfortable with, I would love to take the dogs out for a walk at a nearby park or walking trail. We have four cats at our house that are wary of new animals, so I am unable to pet sit at my residence. However, I am willing to spend time with your fur babies at your house or preferred location, and will follow whatever instructions necessary to ensure the comfortability of you and your pets.

About: Since childhood, I’ve owned multiple dog breeds, cats, and rabbits. I have experience in working with many different sized animals, many different breeds, and animals that can be more challenging. I volunteer in an animal assisted therapy program that caters to children with special needs, in addition to my career as a hairstylist. 🐶 🦮 🐾 I will be caring for your animals in your home, walking them outside in your neighborhood, or at a local park if you’re comfortable. I’m currently unable to care for or board any other animals in my own home.

He showed some signs of stress on one of her visits which she described to a T. She had the good judgement to give him a pee and poo break but forego the walk with him. Next visit he was great. Based upon her feedback I felt completely confident that they were in the best possible hands. Carlie is a vet tech, and this added skill/ experience was obvious in how she handled things.
