Since I was younger, animals have always held a huge place in my heart- rescuing farm kittens, dog walking for neighbors, and swerving to avoid hitting a frog with my bike. I’ve been around and caring for dogs for most of my life, including my own dog Max, who I got when I was 14 and truly consider my soul dog. He passed away in July 2025 from complications related to megaesophagus, but for a year and a half before that, I helped manage his condition after we were initially told he only had 30 days to live. That experience taught me so much about patience, consistency, and providing attentive, specialized care. Because of these experiences, I’m especially comfortable with dogs who may need extra patience, have medical needs, or experience anxiety. I work full-time during the week, but I’m always available for morning and evening visits, including feeding, walks, playtime, and general care. I’m off every other weekend, as well as some Mondays and Fridays, which gives me extra flexibility for longer visits or overnight stays. I’m also happy to accommodate overnight care when needed, so your pet can stick to their normal routine and feel comfortable while you’re away. In a client’s home, I aim to keep things as consistent as possible—following feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m comfortable with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes or picking up after pets, and making sure they get plenty of attention and care. I also make sure your home is respected and kept tidy while you’re away. For overnight stays, I help maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable in their environment.
