About: I am a mom to three human children, six dogs, two cats, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! Additionally, I could put more efforts in to helping people through the love of animals in need! Making the adoption process easy and fun, and making sure the humans and the pets are a wonderful match have made my rescue quite successful! Over the past 11 years I have rescued thousands of dogs, hundreds of cats, and three horses from shelters and other high risk situations! Throughout my years of taking care of pets, I have care for basically every age, breed, size, and temperament! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. Every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care while maintaining the structure and comfort your pet is used to. I also prioritize clear communication so you always feel confident and informed while your pet is in my care. My schedule has a lot of flexibility, and I am a full-time caregiver for these sweet babies! I will always do my best to be available for you and your furry family members! Pets in my home have my full supervision, and when I am unable to have my eye on them, they are either crated or in their own safe space! Our yard is fully fenced!

I’ve also had pets my whole life, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. Along with grooming, I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for years for friends, family, and local clients. I’m very patient, reliable, and love making pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away 🐾 I currently work part time, which gives me a pretty flexible schedule for pet care throughout the week and on weekends. Because of this, I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to walks, drop-ins, pet sitting, feeding schedules, playtime, and overnight care when needed. About: Since childhood, I’ve owned multiple dog breeds, cats, rabbits, and birds. I have experience in working with many different sized animals, many different breeds, and animals that can be more challenging. I volunteer in an animal assisted therapy program that caters to children with special needs, in addition to my career as a hairstylist. 🐶 🦮 🐾 I will be caring for your animals in your home, walking them outside in your neighborhood, or at a local park if you’re comfortable. I’m currently unable to care for or board any other animals in my own home.

About: I have been watching animals for over 7 years . I love any type of animal , small dogs , large dogs, wide dogs, iv taken care of cats , caged animals reptiles you name it iv watched and taken care of it - all animals are welcome. it brings me a lot of enjoyment to be around animals. I have 3 loving cats that have there own room and cat house outside. See my pictures iv watched them all! I make sure throughout the whole day these animals are extremely well taken care off. Plenty of love , plenty of pics and updates . 👌 I own a newly renovated 3 bed room private house .I have a large outside FENCED FULLY ENCLOSED area where any type of animal can take full advantage of. I have outside runs for lots of exercise as well in the back too. Plenty of space . I also live next to an elementary school where i can walk the animals to as well .

About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds from as early as I can remember. Being the oldest of my siblings I was the first to have to take on the pet care chores, and this included both our dogs and our cats, and the other types of animals we had in our household. I have pet care experience with dogs and cats, as well as other pets too. When I moved out on my own with my previous partner (2012-2017) we had adopted three rescued cats, and I was the main administer of the diabetic cat’s insulin and late IV fluid treatments. My ex kept our cats in the split, but in 2018 I adopted my first dog completely on my own. She’s a rescue pit bull mix and now, with my current husband, she is joined by another rescued pit bull mix and a rescued cat. Last year we also adopted a red ear slider turtle off the street in Philadelphia and he now enjoys his aquatic terrarium with his guppy and pleco friends. In 2023 I briefly worked for a dog walking company in Ridgefield and was bit by one of the client’s dogs, unprovoked, and because of that I left the service after being blamed for the outburst and attack (despite telling the owners and the employer that the dog was getting increasingly aggressive with me and I wasn’t comfortable walking him anymore). It was the only time I had ever had an animal turn on me like that and it made me rethink working for a service where I wasn’t listened to or given proper protection. My husband and I have been Rover clients since we moved to Connecticut in 2023 and I am very happy to say we have never had a negative experience, which is why I have decided to lend my services to other pets and families in the area that are in need of an experienced pet caretaker. I am a professional actor so I have days that are marked off for auditions and work or rehearsals, however it is not a consistent time or place. I work throughout the Northeast, NYC, and the Mid Atlantic currently with my acting opportunities, but I am also open to short term travel as well. Because of that, my availability is very open some weeks and not as much on others, depending on what projects I am currently involved in and what the scheduling is like. I would love to spend more time your pets in my downtime and give them the attention they require, since mine are pretty saturated in it regularly. I have two dogs, which are extremely friendly and love other dogs, people, and cats! Our cat is very aloof so they wouldn’t be seen much in cases where pet sitting at my home is needed. Our yard is not fenced in but I am very accustomed to taking them out for walks, or having them leashed under my supervision in our yard. Because I live in Newtown, there are plenty of places to get some quality walks in, and we are also not far from open public dog parks either if that suits your furry friend! I also have my own car which I am more than comfortable transporting your pet in or coming to you for check ins or walks. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines so that is not a worry either, and I am diligent in making sure everyone has a great time when their friends (and our human friends) are over too!

About: Hi I’m 20 years old I have 3 cats 1 30lb dog and also rodents. I’ve been a pet owner for over 14 years of my life and have donated multiple times to animal shelters. I chose this site because I truly enjoy helping others and their animals out. And I of course enjoy hanging out with the animals haha. I’m willing to provide most needs including medication, feeding routine, changing kitty litter, etc. for animals while sitting. I have experience with temperamental / stubborn, young, and older animals as well. About: I have taken care of multiple relatives dogs for as long as I can remember. I was responsible for feeding them (whether it was regular dog food or a special concoction), taking them out for walks, giving them pets and taking them to the park. I have mainly taken care of older dogs, but they were big and energetic! I also have grown up with a cats, Guinea pigs, fish and hermit crabs at one point! I currently work from home remotely, so it is very flexible for me. With my current houses, I am able to bring my laptop and work there to allow no interruptions into your pet’s daily routine I care for your pets as if they were my own. When I’m in your home, I tried to make it as if I was never there to allow you to feel fully relaxed up upon coming home from your time away.

About: There are multiple reasons why I would be the perfect person to take care of your pet! I worked at Guiding eyes for the Blind where I helped train and care for labs and German shepherds. I have worked at a dog kennel and a veterinary center where I provide top care to the client's pets. I aid dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, healthy to unwell, teacup to gigantic. I have also dog sat for multiple friends for days on end. I currently have a 14 year old lab mix that I have taken care of since I was a teenager. I also have a 2 year old lab pup with tons of energy. I prefer to hike my dogs in the woods and let them explore and chase the squirrels. We play fetch and tug of war. I could do the same with your dog! With this experience, I know that dogs need lots of care and love with some fun and snuggles! I am currently going to school to be an ultrasound technician and would love some extra work on the side. My schedule changes with each semester but the best type of study breaks are outside and playing with fur babies. I will follow your instructions closely on how to properly care for your pet.
