About: I have been a family dog owner for 20 plus years. I have recently retired, lost my dog to old age and want to help other dog owners in need of pet care. I am willing to walk dogs or just check on them if needed Since I am recently retired my schedule is flexible. I can perform dog work in morning or afternoon and into the early evenings as necessary I lost my dog to old age last year. I would walk him daily in fields or parks. I kept him on a leash when needed and rewarded his good behavior with a small treat. I have no problem following any owners instructions on how they want their dog cared for. Safety is paramount for all. I also walk and care for family members dog when needed.

I do my best to ensure each pet feels safe, happy, and part of the family during their stay. I have an open, unfenced yard, so for safety, all pets will be leashed while outside. We also have a spacious deck where your pet can relax and enjoy the summer breeze. Inside the home, your pet will be free to roam and play under supervision. My own dog is friendly and happy to provide companionship if your pet enjoys socializing. I have a medium-sized crate available if needed, and plenty of toys to keep your pet engaged. Fresh water will always be available, and your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities.

He showed some signs of stress on one of her visits which she described to a T. She had the good judgement to give him a pee and poo break but forego the walk with him. Next visit he was great. Based upon her feedback I felt completely confident that they were in the best possible hands. Carlie is a vet tech, and this added skill/ experience was obvious in how she handled things. About: From when I was born till now I’ve always been surrounded by animals from fish to ferrets to birds to simple as a fish to even raising chickens. So if you want you can say I have experience with them. If it one thing I learned from taking care of others animals and even my own, is that pets are a blessing to having to making sure their happy is as much important as our happiness is.
