About: I have taken care of multiple relatives dogs for as long as I can remember. I was responsible for feeding them (whether it was regular dog food or a special concoction), taking them out for walks, giving them pets and taking them to the park. I have mainly taken care of older dogs, but they were big and energetic! I also have grown up with a cats, Guinea pigs, fish and hermit crabs at one point! I’m currently a full time college student, but I have room in my schedule to take care of your animals and give them all the love and play they need! Growing up with animals, I am very receptive on how to take care of them. I have dog sat for multiple people and I have had cats my whole life! I will make sure your pet is comforted and well cared for in your home and I will make sure no harm comes to your animal or house.

From long walks and fun playtime to plenty of good ol' fashioned love, I’ll make sure they feel right at home. I have had a dog since I was 11 and I have also had two cats. In addition to taking care of my family pets, I have also taken care of many dogs and cats of various sizes and demeanors. I am free most evenings of the week and I am also free most weekends. About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds from as early as I can remember. Being the oldest of my siblings I was the first to have to take on the pet care chores, and this included both our dogs and our cats, and the other types of animals we had in our household. I have pet care experience with dogs and cats, as well as other pets too. When I moved out on my own with my previous partner (2012-2017) we had adopted three rescued cats, and I was the main administer of the diabetic cat’s insulin and late IV fluid treatments. My ex kept our cats in the split, but in 2018 I adopted my first dog completely on my own. She’s a rescue pit bull mix and now, with my current husband, she is joined by another rescued pit bull mix and a rescued cat. Last year we also adopted a red ear slider turtle off the street in Philadelphia and he now enjoys his aquatic terrarium with his guppy and pleco friends. In 2023 I briefly worked for a dog walking company in Ridgefield and was bit by one of the client’s dogs, unprovoked, and because of that I left the service after being blamed for the outburst and attack (despite telling the owners and the employer that the dog was getting increasingly aggressive with me and I wasn’t comfortable walking him anymore). It was the only time I had ever had an animal turn on me like that and it made me rethink working for a service where I wasn’t listened to or given proper protection. My husband and I have been Rover clients since we moved to Connecticut in 2023 and I am very happy to say we have never had a negative experience, which is why I have decided to lend my services to other pets and families in the area that are in need of an experienced pet caretaker. I am a professional actor so I have days that are marked off for auditions and work or rehearsals, however it is not a consistent time or place. I work throughout the Northeast, NYC, and the Mid Atlantic currently with my acting opportunities, but I am also open to short term travel as well. Because of that, my availability is very open some weeks and not as much on others, depending on what projects I am currently involved in and what the scheduling is like. I would love to spend more time your pets in my downtime and give them the attention they require, since mine are pretty saturated in it regularly. I have two dogs, which are extremely friendly and love other dogs, people, and cats! Our cat is very aloof so they wouldn’t be seen much in cases where pet sitting at my home is needed. Our yard is not fenced in but I am very accustomed to taking them out for walks, or having them leashed under my supervision in our yard. Because I live in Newtown, there are plenty of places to get some quality walks in, and we are also not far from open public dog parks either if that suits your furry friend! I also have my own car which I am more than comfortable transporting your pet in or coming to you for check ins or walks. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines so that is not a worry either, and I am diligent in making sure everyone has a great time when their friends (and our human friends) are over too!

About: I have been watching animals for over 7 years . I love any type of animal , small dogs , large dogs, wide dogs, iv taken care of cats , caged animals reptiles you name it iv watched and taken care of it - all animals are welcome. it brings me a lot of enjoyment to be around animals. I have 3 loving cats that have there own room and cat house outside. See my pictures iv watched them all! I make sure throughout the whole day these animals are extremely well taken care off. Plenty of love , plenty of pics and updates . 👌 I own a newly renovated 3 bed room private house .I have a large outside FENCED FULLY ENCLOSED area where any type of animal can take full advantage of. I have outside runs for lots of exercise as well in the back too. Plenty of space . I also live next to an elementary school where i can walk the animals to as well .

About: I am a mom to three human children, three dogs, and three horses. When my kids were younger, my "me time" was spent volunteering for various rescues and shelters. I love taking care of animals and found so much satisfaction helping out those poor little creatures who had no home to call their own! I loved it so much that I decided to start my own 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue! I figured that in doing so, I could help on a way bigger scale! Additionally, I could put more efforts in to helping people through the love of animals in need! Making the adoption process easy and fun, and making sure the humans and the pets are a wonderful match have made my rescue quite successful! Over the past 11 years I have rescued thousands of dogs, hundreds of cats, and three horses from shelters and other high risk situations! Throughout my years of taking care of pets, I have care for basically every age, breed, size, and temperament! I have also provided care on just about every level...from administering meds, IV treatments, vaccines, basic grooming, and basic training/behavior modifications. I joined Rover because I want to continue helping animals and support pet owners who need someone they can truly trust. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. Being able to provide that peace of mind is something I take seriously. About: I’ve helped care for eight family dogs throughout my life, so I’m very comfortable around different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m patient, responsible, and understand how important it is to keep pets safe and comfortable. I’m available on weekends with flexible hours, and I’m also available every weekday after 2 PM. This allows me to give your dog plenty of attention in the afternoons and evenings, whether that’s for walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care. I will always communicate clearly about scheduling When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, playtime, and bathroom breaks. I also give lots of attention and supervision so they feel safe while you’re away.

About: Hi I’m 20 years old I have 3 cats 1 30lb dog and also rodents. I’ve been a pet owner for over 14 years of my life and have donated multiple times to animal shelters. I chose this site because I truly enjoy helping others and their animals out. And I of course enjoy hanging out with the animals haha. I’m willing to provide most needs including medication, feeding routine, changing kitty litter, etc. for animals while sitting. I have experience with temperamental / stubborn, young, and older animals as well. About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs since I was 10 years old, including walks, feeding schedules, and medications. Additionally, I completed my Bachelors degree majoring in animal science. Within this degree, I was taught restraint of dogs, behavioral analysis, anatomy of animals, and much more. I was the sole pet sitter for my neighbors for many years in which I cared for 2 dogs for overnights (up to a week). I have also volunteered with Guiding Eyes where I took care of 6-8 week old puppies and exposed them to new environments for a 3-5 day time period. I am off work every day by 3 pm and available every day after that time (after 4 on Tuesdays)! I am available on the weekends as well and am flexible about times! I ask for at least a week’s notice for weekend services. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex. This complex not only has a short walking trail, but I am a mile away from the Still River walking point. I am comfortable with any pet friendly conditions within a client’s home, I just ask that clear expectations regarding their pet are made in advance (i.e. walking on/off leash).

About: There are multiple reasons why I would be the perfect person to take care of your pet! I worked at Guiding eyes for the Blind where I helped train and care for labs and German shepherds. I have worked at a dog kennel and a veterinary center where I provide top care to the client's pets. I aid dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, healthy to unwell, teacup to gigantic. I have also dog sat for multiple friends for days on end. I currently have a 14 year old lab mix that I have taken care of since I was a teenager. I also have a 2 year old lab pup with tons of energy. I prefer to hike my dogs in the woods and let them explore and chase the squirrels. We play fetch and tug of war. I could do the same with your dog! With this experience, I know that dogs need lots of care and love with some fun and snuggles! I am currently going to school to be an ultrasound technician and would love some extra work on the side. My schedule changes with each semester but the best type of study breaks are outside and playing with fur babies. I will follow your instructions closely on how to properly care for your pet. I will make sure that safety is the number one concern to make sure that everyone is well taken care of.
