“Aliyah is amazing, so flexible and always gives me updates throughout her stays. I feel much better knowing she’s there watching out for my dogs while I’m at work. My puppy and older dog both love her!”
About: I make sure to know how to bath, brush teeth, clean ears, clip nails, proper restraints basic training all ages of dogs. I also can take care of any breed and sure all pets have fun and are safe I am available every day. I am currently trying to find a college to become a veterinary technician. I have a passion for helping animals. I feed and give water making sure there is a bunch of cuddle time and break time as well which stays in the crate for 25-30 mins

About: I have been around dogs my entire life! Even had the opportunity to nurse puppies as little as 2 weeks old. I'm patient and nurturing when it comes to dogs that just need a bit more attention. I will also adhere to the requests of each owner. Our dogs are considered family and should be treated with kindness and respect. To each pet owner I will treat your dog like it's my own. I will be able to cater to the needs of your dog as well as inform you in a timely manner of each visit how everything went. I understand how frustrating it is to leave your dog home for long period of time. However, you won't need to worry they are in good hands! I am off from my full time 3 days a week. Therefore, I’m open to dropping in when needed during the day or evening. Sunday- Tuesday. As someone who has cared for different breeds from dachshunds, pit bulls, and even Dobermans. I have learned so much regarding dog behaviors, temperaments, and how to respond to each dogs unique needs.
About: I’m a serial long-term pet sitter, and finally trying out Rover! Our family- myself, my partner, Will, our 9 year old son & 5 year old daughter- are huge animal fans! I’ve owned dogs, cats, fish, and lizards myself and we currently have an outgoing, friendly, & vocal black cat named Calzone, a cuddly old man Syrian hamster named Faris, and a Tetra tank we affectionately call “The Kids”. I am the go-to pet sitter for several family members, friends, and neighbors. We have had pets stay with us for long term stays. So, long term & frequent stays are A-OK… your pet will be cared for like part of the family. I am comfortable caring for farm/hobby farm animals at your home as well. We moved to Bethel (Will & I grew up in the area) in 2024 from our home in Fairfield where we lived for almost 10 years & where I started with Rover! Our home is a single family farmhouse with a huge open yard, meadow, and ponds, abutting wooded trails and a short walk to Huntington Park. Our yard is not fenced, and although our street is relatively quiet, we always are with our visitor dogs when outside. Dogs with strong prey drive might not be a good fit for stays at our house, but could be a great fit for care in your home, walks, etc. I work a flexible job from home, so am home all day except for bringing my daughter to & from school or a breif errand. If your pup likes car rides, they’re welcome to come with! Please let me know if your pet prefers crating when no one is home for breif (think 20-30min) periods. For boarders or full day daycare, I like to make one big adventure (trail walk/hike/dog park/beach) and then add in shorter walks/playing in the yard, and can adjust based on level of activity/couch potato of your pup. I can work in this kind of schedule or shorter stints for care based from your home as well. If I’m home, your pet is likely with me! I don’t have a big house, so we spend the majority of our time in a few spaces & we’d have your pet right there with us, unless they prefer their own space. I mentioned most of this in the “experience” section, so please do read that whole section. Basically, I have a lot of flexibility and can adapt to most pet care needs. Because I have two small children, I will not be able to accommodate pets with aggression/fear aggression in my home, and would need to be made aware of this if I’d be caring for your pet in your home. I can work with individuals on daycare hours, and I’d typically plan on 30min-1hr for walks or stopping at your house for pop-in care (cats & other pets too, so they can get some playtime in!). For longer pop-ins, message me and we can work out how to bill depending on your needs. Outside of boarding, if I am coming to your home I may need to bring one or both of my kids with me if it’s outside of school hours/schedule. This would be communicated to you, and they would never be allowed out of my sight in those cases. If you have any questions, always feel free to ask. I like to send pictures, but don’t like to spam folks with pictures (but you can always ask me to spam you with pics)!
“Amy visited our house daily to feed and play with Tilly while we were out of town. She provided prompt and friendly communication and made sure everything she needed to care for Tilly was addressed. Amy’s reliability allowed us to relax just that much more on our vacation knowing that our pup was happy in good hands.”

“Danae is wonderful! She sent me pics everyday with a status update and even watered our plants and brought in the mail. I know my loves are in good hands with her when we leave which makes leaving them so much easier on my kitty mama's heart. ?”

“Mermsie is pleasant to work with. She provided timely updates and we know we can rely on her for future cat sitting needs. She performed insulin injections as requested, among other routine care needs.”

About: I've done house/petsisting in the past & thought I'd get back into it. I can either come to your house (for dogs) or take your cat at my apartment. I currently work full time M-F 8-5. I can do after work or on the weekends. I live in Bethel...so local would be nice to have. I cannot care for dogs at my apartment. I can go to your house or I can take cats. I have a small apartment good for snuggling.

About: I am a nursing student who works in healthcare. I have become the go-to pet sitter for my coworkers and family friends. I love helping people feel comfortable going on vacation and relaxing knowing that their fur babies are well taken care of. I have taken care of older pets as well as those with medical needs. I work in healthcare which allows me to have full days available to care for pets. I also work closely with my sister who helps me if I have a long work day with walks or feeds if needed. I like to care for pets as much to the clients preference. I like to have them write out the daily cares of their pets and any concerns or requests that they have while I’m caring for their pets. I’m happy to adjust to the needs and preferences of each individual pet.
About: I have experience with all dogs sizes, especially large breeds. I watched my childhood dogs go from puppies to seniors. From this, I’m able to administer medicine. I currently work from home remotely, so it is very flexible for me. With my current houses, I am able to bring my laptop and work there to allow no interruptions into your pet’s daily routine I care for your pets as if they were my own. When I’m in your home, I tried to make it as if I was never there to allow you to feel fully relaxed up upon coming home from your time away.
About: I’ve had 2-3 dogs in my house since I was in middle school. Since high school, I began dog, cat, and baby sitting for my neighbor on a regular basis and even continued while on breaks from college and after graduation. For the past 5 years, I was the primary dog, cat, and house sitter for a lovely family. My senior year of college I fostered a dog, which my family and I then went on to adopt. I have experience with dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, and ages. After helping a variety of dogs & cats in NYC, I have relocated to Connecticut, and I’m looking to help out any people and pets in my area! I currently work a hybrid schedule and am onsite on Tues-Thurs. My work allows me to take calls on walks and have the ability to take animals out for walks as needed! We currently live in a condo with easy outdoor access. I do not have any pets. I am comfortable with crate training, but my home is also flexible to let your pet(s) roam if that is preferred!
About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember! I grew up with a dog from a young age, and caring for her sparked my passion for animals. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of helping friends by walking their dogs, dog sitting, and making sure their pups felt loved and cared for while their owners were away. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or cozy snuggles, I treat every dog like my own. Your pup’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority! My schedule is flexible in the afternoons, and I’m mostly free on weekdays like Monday, Thursday, and Friday. This gives me plenty of time to focus on walks, playtime, and giving your pets the attention they deserve! When caring for pets in your home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routines so they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free. I’ll stick to their feeding schedule, provide fresh water, and make sure they get the right amount of walks, potty breaks, and playtime. I love giving plenty of attention, whether that’s belly rubs, cuddles, or just being a calm presence. I also pay close attention to any special instructions, like medication, dietary needs, or favorite toys, to keep your pet happy and healthy. My goal is always to care for your furry family member as if they were my own, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I’ve been caring for my own dogs as well as pets of family and friends since a young age, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. I treat every pet as if they were my own—ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My dog is friendly, well-socialized, and enjoys playing with other pets. With your permission, I’m also happy to provide high-quality photos during each visit, so you can see your pet happy and content. I currently work full-time in a hybrid position, which means I’m home about 3 out of 5 weekdays. I’m also available most weekends and enjoy spending time outdoors. During the warmer months, I often take my dog to the dog park for play and exercise. Your pet will receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship, whether we're relaxing at home or enjoying time outside. I do my best to ensure each pet feels safe, happy, and part of the family during their stay. I have an open, unfenced yard, so for safety, all pets will be leashed while outside. We also have a spacious deck where your pet can relax and enjoy the summer breeze. Inside the home, your pet will be free to roam and play under supervision. My own dog is friendly and happy to provide companionship if your pet enjoys socializing. I have a medium-sized crate available if needed, and plenty of toys to keep your pet engaged. Fresh water will always be available, and your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities.

Danbury dog parents share their Rover experiences
We had an excellent experience. She came three times daily, made sure our dog was fed and exercised, and spent time playing and engaging with her — not just doing the basics and leaving. Communication was great, and I felt completely comfortable knowing my dog was in such caring hands. It gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again!
Will is kind, communicative, punctual and trustworthy. He was great taking care of my pets and I wouldn’t hesitate to have him again. I felt great knowing he was taking care of them when I was far away traveling. I’d highly recommend his services to anyone in need of a great pet sitter.

Nicole is BY FAR the best care provider we have EVER met! She’s always prompt, polite, professional, & friendly. Her expertise & skill-sets in Veterinary Care are added benefits for piece of mind to have, and incredibly rare to find. We will only be asking her to care for our dogs & cats in the future; whether it be a single drop-in, multiple visits, or anything else. 5 stars is not enough!

Danae and Jamie were fantastic dog sitters for our two pups, Emma and Jackson. They were always punctual, provided regular updates and photos, and clearly cared about our dogs' well-being. We especially appreciated their focus on safety and their deep understanding of how pets can behave differently when their owners are away. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Emma and Jackson were in such capable and caring hands. Highly recommend!

Linda was so great with my husky, Reggie! My family was out of town for the weekend and she was so communicative with photos and checks in.. We extended our trip by another night at the last minute and she agreed to check in on his additionally to what was already booked. She sent photos and great updates on all of her drop in visits.. Highly recommend!
