“Lindsey is just an amazing person and so sweet with Benny. She's kind, loving, gentle and caring. Benny absolutely LOVES going on walks with her! He looks SO happy in the photos. What a blessing she is. So very grateful that we found Lindsey!!”

About: With my own 8 year old Australian Shepard (Layla 🐶) and years of pet sitting for family and friends, I bring both personal experience and genuine love for animals. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and caring environment for every pet. I am currently a full-time Montessori pre-school teacher. Looking to fill some of my free time caring for pets! I love animals and am looking forward to meeting yours! You can trust that I will follow your rules and routines for your furry friend. Safety is of the utmost importance. I will treat your pet as if they were my own!
“Stuart had an issue getting my dog to go back in my home after her walk was over. Christmas Eve wanted to stay laying on the grass outside. Stuart immediately contacted me for assistance in getting Chrissy back in the home. She finally was coaxed to oblige with her favorite dog treat. Thank you again Stuart”

About: I have had dogs since I was 5, and currently own a cat! I truly believe walking is good for the soul- whether you’re a human or a dog. I currently work at a residential treatment center in Brewster, NY. My hours at work can be scattered at times, but I typically work afternoons into evenings. Morning walks before 12pm would work best with my schedule, unless indicated otherwise! I live in an apartment with a dog park, but I do not offer sitting services at this time. If I decide to extend my services, I will update this portion :)
“Melissa is extremely good with all animals and I would highly recommend her! Years ago when one of my german shepherds had a behavior issue we asked Melissa to work with us and the trainer to help correct the problem. Melissa understood what the trainer was doing and helped us to learn how to work with our dog. She has also fed, walked, and administered meds to our dogs while we were on vacation. Melissa is very reliable, knowledgeable about animals and extremely good with them. I trust her with all my animals care!”

“Sarah has been absolutely wonderful with taking care of my baby boy! From the very beginning, she’s shown a genuine love and care for him that puts my mind at ease. She has such a warm and friendly personality, and it’s clear she treats all the fur babies she cares for like her own. I always look forward to her updates—she sends the sweetest photos from their walks, and it’s so comforting to know he’s getting plenty of love, attention, and belly rubs while I’m working long hours. Her reliability, thoughtfulness, and clear passion for animals really stand out. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet caregiver”

About: Future PA living in Danbury, CT with a flexible schedule and strong attention to detail. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, love dogs, and genuinely enjoy long walks. I’m a PA student studying at home most of the week, so it’s important for me to break up long study sessions by getting out of the house. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I have a car for reliable transportation. I care for pets by following their usual routine, keeping walks safe, and giving them attention based on their energy level. I’m calm, observant, and respectful in clients’ homes, and I always provide updates so owners
“Diana is an absolute GEM. My dog (and cats) love when she comes for her weekly walk with my little man. She brings a fabulous energy and is so sweet to all of my pets. She goes above and beyond, taking her time with my dog to play a quick fetch or giving the cats some scratches. Can’t say enough how glad we are to have a solid walker. As new dog moms, she’s relieved a lot of anxiety about how his day is going while we’re at work. I feel very comfortable leaving my pets in her care.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Danae! She is timely, very accommodating, extremely reliable, and my girl loves her! I love my daily updates from her while I am at work, and it is truly the highlight of my day! I know that my dog is in great hands when she is with her. I am so so thankful to have found her.”

“Jamie is awesome! He was extremely professional and friendly in our first meeting, gave us some great general tips for new puppies, and has been very lenient with his time. He sends updates from every visit as well as pictures and spent some great, quality time with our dog. He has been a lifesaver for when my wife and I are at work and don’t want to leave our dog home alone for extended periods of time. I couldn’t recommend him enough.”

About: I’m a serial long-term pet sitter, and finally trying out Rover! Our family- myself, my partner, Will, our 9 year old son & 5 year old daughter- are huge animal fans! I’ve owned dogs, cats, fish, and lizards myself and we currently have an outgoing, friendly, & vocal black cat named Calzone, a cuddly old man Syrian hamster named Faris, and a Tetra tank we affectionately call “The Kids”. I am the go-to pet sitter for several family members, friends, and neighbors. We have had pets stay with us for long term stays. So, long term & frequent stays are A-OK… your pet will be cared for like part of the family. I am comfortable caring for farm/hobby farm animals at your home as well. We moved to Bethel (Will & I grew up in the area) in 2024 from our home in Fairfield where we lived for almost 10 years & where I started with Rover! Our home is a single family farmhouse with a huge open yard, meadow, and ponds, abutting wooded trails and a short walk to Huntington Park. Our yard is not fenced, and although our street is relatively quiet, we always are with our visitor dogs when outside. Dogs with strong prey drive might not be a good fit for stays at our house, but could be a great fit for care in your home, walks, etc. I work a flexible job from home, so am home all day except for bringing my daughter to & from school or a breif errand. If your pup likes car rides, they’re welcome to come with! Please let me know if your pet prefers crating when no one is home for breif (think 20-30min) periods. For boarders or full day daycare, I like to make one big adventure (trail walk/hike/dog park/beach) and then add in shorter walks/playing in the yard, and can adjust based on level of activity/couch potato of your pup. I can work in this kind of schedule or shorter stints for care based from your home as well. If I’m home, your pet is likely with me! I don’t have a big house, so we spend the majority of our time in a few spaces & we’d have your pet right there with us, unless they prefer their own space. I mentioned most of this in the “experience” section, so please do read that whole section. Basically, I have a lot of flexibility and can adapt to most pet care needs. Because I have two small children, I will not be able to accommodate pets with aggression/fear aggression in my home, and would need to be made aware of this if I’d be caring for your pet in your home. I can work with individuals on daycare hours, and I’d typically plan on 30min-1hr for walks or stopping at your house for pop-in care (cats & other pets too, so they can get some playtime in!). For longer pop-ins, message me and we can work out how to bill depending on your needs. Outside of boarding, if I am coming to your home I may need to bring one or both of my kids with me if it’s outside of school hours/schedule. This would be communicated to you, and they would never be allowed out of my sight in those cases. If you have any questions, always feel free to ask. I like to send pictures, but don’t like to spam folks with pictures (but you can always ask me to spam you with pics)!
“I feel completely confident leaving our dog, Jansen, in Rachel's care. She is trustworthy, thoughtful and obviously knows dogs. She responded within minutes of my submitting a request through Rover. And she followed up with a detailed review of the time she spent with Jansen. I highly recommend Rachel!”

About: I've taken care of my own or friends or family's pets since I was a young teenager. I'm the first person that they come to when in need of pet care. I work for myself so making my own schedule makes working with pets easy. If it's for a couple hours or for multiple days, I can make it work I do prefer taking care of pets at their own home since they are familiar with their territory but I do not mind taking them to my house for a little change of scenery.

Jennifer was a gem to our two sweet and crazy pups. She was quick to respond for a last minute request and she was really lovely to meet in person. Our dogs also behaved for her which is a plus! Thank you Jennifer! Looking forward to having you care for Annabelle and Roy again in the future!

Our dog’s meet & greet and first couple of walks with Belle went really well! She is very communicative and punctual; I appreciate the updates and love the photos she shares. Indie seems to have warmed up to her quickly. Looking forward to more walks in the future!
