About: I’ve lived with pets my whole life. I’m a biology major pursuing animal science and conservation. I love everything about them and I will be volunteering at the animal shelter this summer! I have experience taking care of old dogs, and hyper ones, from helping out my family and friends over the years. I work on campus, so with my semester ending, I am completely free this summer to focus on caring for these pets! Weekends can be busy but I will account for that in my availability. This isn’t just an opportunity to make money, it’s a way to help and give back to my community. I will care for pets in the clients home by offering play to have fun and be ready to sleep at bedtime! I will also care for them by respecting their space and boundaries when needed. If they are in need of a friend, I am there.

About: I am looking to add light to my life in spite of current events by helping others in my community and bonding with your fur babies! I'm free in the eavnings most days and fully available Mondays and Tuesdays. Schedules may be accommodated if reached out to 2 weeks in advance. I live with my mom and uncle who love dogs and we all guarantee to provide the highest quality of care. I have two cats who enjoy the outside in our yard and have come with us on fun adventures like camping trips. So they are very open to change.

About: Although most of my formal rescue work has been with cats, dogs have always been part of my life too. I adopted my Shiba Inu in 2019, and caring for him as he’s aged has given me real-world experience with senior dog needs. He’s now 11+ with a heart condition that requires medication twice a day, and I handle all of his care — nail trims, baths, daily walks, and occasional vet‑prescribed injections for arthritis. He’s taught me so much about patience, routine, and gentle medical handling. Beyond my own dog, I’ve helped care for many dogs belonging to friends and family, each with their own personality and quirks. I’ve worked with a loud, high-energy Red Heeler; several bold little “Napoleon” Chihuahuas; a nervous, skeptical Dachshund; a giant, gentle German Shepherd; multiple Boston Terriers; a super-smart, high-energy Poodle/Yorkie mix; and a regal Doberman Pinscher. These dogs have given me hands-on experience with everything from anxious and spicy temperaments to confident, goofy, or highly intelligent behavior. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs — playing fetch, going for long walks, or even tackling a strenuous hike. Having a good dog as a companion makes those moments even better. I may be a cat specialist by profession, but I’m a dedicated dog owner by heart, and I bring that same love, attentiveness, and adaptability to every dog I look after. Every day I take care of my own personal and foster animals (cats and 1 dog) and then start making my rounds to feed the local feral colonies. Pet care is my life, not just my routine. There isn't a day that goes by where I am not caring for animals. I will happily comply with my client's instructions about the routine for their pet. I am comfortable giving treats, playing, petting, going on walks/hikes/car rides, feeding, brushing, and crating. I understand that animals thrive on consistency and I am able to provide that for them.

About: I have been called Dr. Dolittle my entire life. I have a knack for connecting with animals of all kinds. My very first job was working at a local farm with all different types of animals like horses, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, etc. It was one of my favorite jobs, I got lucky! I also worked at a dog boarding facility which gave me experience working with multiple dogs at once. I always give animals the space to have their specific personality and the respect they deserve, as I would treat a human. Animals are often misunderstood, I’ve always tried to meet them where they stand. If there is one thing I am confident in, it’s making an animal feel safe and comfortable. And they do the same for me :) I would love to meet your faithful friend! I currently work a very flexible part-time job and am pet-sitting most days as well.
