About: I’m a serial long-term pet sitter, and have been pet sitting through Rover for several years! Our family- myself, my partner, Will, our 9 year old son & 5 year old daughter- are huge animal fans! I’ve owned dogs, cats, fish, and lizards myself. We currently have an outgoing, friendly, & vocal black cat named Calzone and a Tetra tank we affectionately call “The Kids”. I am the go-to pet sitter for several family members, friends, and neighbors. We have had pets stay with us for long term stays. So, long term & frequent stays are A-OK… your pet will be cared for like part of the family. I am comfortable caring for farm/hobby farm animals at your home as well. We moved to Bethel (Will & I grew up in the area) in 2024 from our home in Fairfield where we lived for almost 10 years & where I started with Rover! Our home is a single family farmhouse with a huge open yard, meadow, and ponds, abutting wooded trails and a short walk to Huntington Park. Our yard is not fenced, and although our street is relatively quiet, we always are with our visitor dogs when outside. Dogs with strong prey drive might not be a good fit for stays at our house, but could be a great fit for care in your home, walks, etc.

About: I have experience with pets of all kinds — high-energy dogs who need long hikes and treat-based enrichment, small animals and cats I’ve grown up with, and senior dogs who need a softer touch. I take pride in tuning in to each pet’s unique needs, whether that’s adventure, comfort, or calm companionship. I work from home Monday and Friday where my morning starts with letting my dog out, feeding our guinea pigs, and letting our turkeys out into their pen. Saturday and Sunday are usually weather dependent. If it’s bad weather out I will break out the snuffle mat for some mental stimulation for my dog. If it’s nice I usually go on at least one long hike. Pets kept overnight will be kept in the spare bedroom, which has a bed they can sleep on, or space for a crate. I have one which can be used if pet is crate trained. During the work day they will be kept separate from my dog using gates and dogs get to run around in our fenced in yard.

I have experience with, puppies, all size, all type of dog breeds, kittens, cats, birds, sugar gliders, lizards, ferrets, etc. I have boarded animals in the past and taken extra care of them while owners are away. I am compassionate, patient, and am an animal lover at heart. I'm 44, a vintage lover and vegan. I am a dog owner myself and have had my own dog cared for during vacations. I have a 13 year old baby chihuahua (she will always be my baby). I also had a 100lb+ pup up until a couple years ago. I have grown up around cats since I was 14 as well, my partner I live with has a 3 year old cat that I care for as well. I will take care of your dog/cat like I would want mine to be taken care of. Your pup will enjoy my company as I will try to entertain your dog and send you updates as much as possible while you are away so that you can relax knowing your baby is in good hands. I currently make my own schedule and I do have obligations but I can be super flexible and for the most part I can work from anywhere. I want to use that time to take care of dogs given my flexible schedule I have multiple dogs to socialize with your dog and I have multiple security cameras, invisible fences, and a large yard for any puppy to run around at any time

I currently work at a residential treatment center in Brewster, NY. My hours at work can be scattered at times, but I typically work afternoons into evenings. Morning walks before 12pm would work best with my schedule, unless indicated otherwise! I live in an apartment with a dog park, but I do not offer sitting services at this time.
