About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life! My family and then myself have adopted and taken care of dogs and cats of all ages but more recently, I have adopted senior dogs and taken care of all their needs. I work at Western Connecticut with lots of flexibility in my schedule! I’m usually available to come and go during the day if needed and only live a few minutes from work. The complex I live in is very dog friendly! I had my dog with there until she passed. There are lots of designated dog walking areas, dog grooming and wash rooms.

I am a dog lover for a lifetime. As a kid, I would care for strays. As an adult, I have had a dog in my life for the past 30 years- I have adopted 3 full grown, mature labs from various shelters and they all had a great, long life! My current Lab is our sitting “mascot” and she welcomes all dogs to our homestay center. She was an adoptee from an elderly couple. My young adult son & dog-lover is a great co-host to care for and play with your pet. Pets are like family here and they will be loved, cared for and respected. We will give play, attention, exercise, love and create a setting where your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. We should do a meet and greet with our dogs prior to first boarding. The yard here is fully fenced, but I only let dogs out in the yard with supervision. I will give walks/hikes, as you like. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.

About: I have cared for multiple dog, cat, and rabbit breeds. Friends and family have relied on me numerous times to care for their pets for extended periods of time (days-weeks), including walks, baths, feeding, grooming, and overall patience with their furry family member. I will stick to the same routine you have for your pet as to not further stress the animal. I offer drop-ins, and dog walks! 🐾Walks are usually between 30-60 minutes in your neighborhood. 🐈 Litter box will be cleaned and they’ll have good company, even if they don’t come out I’ll stay just to make sure they’re safe and not getting into trouble. Please let me know if your pet has any medical issues/ special diets. I am experienced with elderly pets and can administer topical treatments as well as oral/fluid medication. You will get updates while I am with your pet, expect pictures and notes. If anything out of the ordinary occurs you will be contacted immediately (if you’re not available please leave another emergency contact that lives close by) I am free most days of the week, and I am currently very flexible. ‼️‼️For house sitting I cannot sleep over but I can stay all day! I usually go to the client’s home to care for the pet as I live with my parents still. I make sure bowls are washed after every meal, treats are given, litter is clean and ensure the pet is comfortable (even in their own home because a new person may cause stress). I’m an early riser and a night owl so morning and night walks are easy (so is breakfast and dinner), and I love being outside.

We have our own 12 year old mixed breed dog and a fenced in back yard area for the dogs to mingle and do business as they please. We also do not take more than one dog sitting gig at a time so that our dog and your dog(s) establish a pack and are comfortable and safe in our home. My husband works from home 5 days a week and makes his own schedule. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and any weekend travel is updated through our app months in advance We are hyper aware of any changes in your pets disposition, eating and drinking behavior, and we always pick up #2 from our yard so we are very in-tune to any changes in the bathroom department 🤣. We know first-hand that it can be stressful leaving your pet at an unfamiliar home and find that having another dog around (as well as a dog cam in the house) helps them relax while also allowing us to make sure they’re adjusting okay even if we are out running errands. We make sure that the dogs are never home alone for longer than 4 hours maximum, and are well exercised before any time they’re left alone. We also do let them sleep on the couches and make sure they get plenty of cuddles during their stay with us.

About: I’m a serial long-term pet sitter, and have been pet sitting through Rover for several years! Our family- myself, my partner, Will, our 9 year old son & 5 year old daughter- are huge animal fans! I’ve owned dogs, cats, fish, and lizards myself. We currently have an outgoing, friendly, & vocal black cat named Calzone and a Tetra tank we affectionately call “The Kids”. I am the go-to pet sitter for several family members, friends, and neighbors. We have had pets stay with us for long term stays. So, long term & frequent stays are A-OK… your pet will be cared for like part of the family. I am comfortable caring for farm/hobby farm animals at your home as well. We moved to Bethel (Will & I grew up in the area) in 2024 from our home in Fairfield where we lived for almost 10 years & where I started with Rover! Our home is a single family farmhouse with a huge open yard, meadow, and ponds, abutting wooded trails and a short walk to Huntington Park. Our yard is not fenced, and although our street is relatively quiet, we always are with our visitor dogs when outside. Dogs with strong prey drive might not be a good fit for stays at our house, but could be a great fit for care in your home, walks, etc.
About: I have experience with pets of all kinds — high-energy dogs who need long hikes and treat-based enrichment, small animals and cats I’ve grown up with, and senior dogs who need a softer touch. I take pride in tuning in to each pet’s unique needs, whether that’s adventure, comfort, or calm companionship. I work from home Monday and Friday where my morning starts with letting my dog out, feeding our guinea pigs, and letting our turkeys out into their pen. Saturday and Sunday are usually weather dependent. If it’s bad weather out I will break out the snuffle mat for some mental stimulation for my dog. If it’s nice I usually go on at least one long hike. Pets kept overnight will be kept in the spare bedroom, which has a bed they can sleep on, or space for a crate. I have one which can be used if pet is crate trained. During the work day they will be kept separate from my dog using gates and dogs get to run around in our fenced in yard.

While I will still be working with a few students, I schedule my lessons earlier in the day to ensure I have maximum flexibility for your pets. My weekends are 100% completely free and dedicated to pet care, and my late afternoons and evenings are entirely open as well. I know how to keep a home secure, stick to strict feeding and medical routines, and handle any unexpected situations calmly. About: Since childhood, I’ve owned multiple dog breeds, cats, and rabbits. I have experience in working with many different sized animals, many different breeds, and animals that can be more challenging. I volunteer in an animal assisted therapy program that caters to children with special needs, in addition to my career as a hairstylist. 🐶 🦮 🐾 I will be caring for your animals in your home, walking them outside in your neighborhood, or at a local park if you’re comfortable. I’m currently unable to care for or board any other animals in my own home.

I’m comfortable with shy, anxious, energetic, and older pets, and I believe patience and consistency go a long way. For drop-ins, I’ll respect your home, follow your instructions carefully, check food, water, litter, doors, and gates, and send clear updates so you know how your pet is doing.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I truly believe every pup deserves to feel loved, safe, and spoiled (just a little 😉). About: My husband and I live in a cabin in the woods (literally!) and have been dog owners our whole lives. We have our own 12 year old mixed breed dog and a fenced in back yard area for the dogs to mingle and do business as they please. My husband works from home and makes his own schedule, so we make sure your pet(s) are getting the care and attention they need. We also do not take more than one dog sitting gig at a time so that our dog and your dog(s) establish a pack and are comfortable and safe in our home. My husband works from home 5 days a week and makes his own schedule. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and any weekend travel is updated through our app months in advance We are hyper aware of any changes in your pets disposition, eating and drinking behavior, and we always pick up #2 from our yard so we are very in-tune to any changes in the bathroom department 🤣. We know first-hand that it can be stressful leaving your pet at an unfamiliar home and find that having another dog around (as well as a dog cam in the house) helps them relax while also allowing us to make sure they’re adjusting okay even if we are out running errands. We make sure that the dogs are never home alone for longer than 4 hours maximum, and are well exercised before any time they’re left alone. We also do let them sleep on the couches and make sure they get plenty of cuddles during their stay with us.
About: I volunteer in animal shelter constantly, I have taken care of dogs from friends and coworkers multiples times. I wanna be a vet one day!! I am currently out of school for summer so I got a lot free time that i would love to spend with cats and dogs I am really responsible and I have lovely cat that would love to have more fur friends, and I also have yard which they can play in it
