1. Rich U.

“Rich was an excellent host—his communication was clear and timely, and his professionalism really stood out. Our dog Pinker had a wonderful day at his place and came home happy, relaxed, and tired from all the fun. Highly recommend!”

2. Dew G.
“Dew cared for my 5 ducks over the Christmas holiday for over a week, which involved feeding and moving the ducks between their locked coop in the morning and evening to their outdoor pen during the day. While I was gone, several states away, there was an issue with our water supply for the ducks for a day, and Dew was resourceful in making sure the ducks were watered. Due to low temperatures in the morning, the water could turn to ice overnight and needed to be melted - usually this could be done with water from my house, but there was emergency water work being done in my neighborhood while I was gone. We kept in good communication, and Dew brought hot water to our house to make sure the ducks could get water for the day. I appreciate that she went above and beyond!”

3. Rachel O.

“So easy to communicate with. Professional and friendly. Norman had a blast!”

4. Kyle K.

“My dog, Luna, had a great day at Kyle’s. He’s got a great setup for pups to play inside and out, and he clearly understands dogs well and is able to give them great care. Luna is very nervous around new people, and Kyle was able to attend to her needs and made sure she was comfortable during her stay. Will definitely be back.”

9. Matthew B.
About: We are a family of animal lovers! Matt and Brooke have three children: May, Luca, and one Mr. Bo Jangles - our 70lb rescue mutt. Matt works from home, and Bo is a fun loving, gentle, and patient goof who gets along with everyone he's ever met (two-legged and four-legged). When Bo first joined our family, we gave him the greatest gift of all: a fenced in yard. Bo Jangles would love to share his home, his yard and his walks with new friends. Matt is self employed, and working from home affords total flexibility and customizable routines, based on individual pet's needs. Walks and playtime are already part of our family's daily life, and the more the merrier. We offer care for both cats and dogs. Matt rescued a handsome young feral cat, Bootsie, nearly twenty years ago, but sadly, Bootsie passed away in the winter of 2023. With years of doting love, Boots turned from fierce and ornery into a pretty mellow family pet. Boots even surprised us all by accepting Mr. Bo Jangles into the family fold, and occasionally even snuggling with him! Whether you have a cat or a dog, Mr. Bo Jangles will treat your pet with respect, just as Bootsie learned. A few other perks: In addition to a fenced yard, our home is ideally located for commuters, right behind West Conn's Westside Campus. Our neighborhood is in a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic, ideal for leisurely walks full of sniffing and exploring. If for any reason your pet does not enjoy Mr. Bo Jangles' overtures of friendship, we have an excellent set up to keep them separate, including separate exits to the fenced in yard. Our whole house is completely pet friendly, with no spaces that are off limits to pets. Additionally, we are a smoke free home. Both May and Luca love animals and would love to give extra pets and snuggles if your pet enjoys children, but they will also respect their independence and wishes.

10. Laurie A.
“Laurie has been a competent and loving caretaker for my two golden doodles and three cats for several years now. Thanks to Laurie we can always go away with confidence knowing that our pets are well cared for. I highly recommend Laurie for any pet care sitting position.”

11. Sunny K.

“Sunny was excellent! Went above and beyond to give our pup good care and a fun experience. Sunny's dogs Lui and Belle were great playmates for our sometimes skittish Biscuit. Thank you, Sunny!”

12. Amanda R.

“If I could give 6 stars, I would. My service dog Memphis, still in training, hasn't been away from me that much and I had to be in the area for an appointment that he could not attend. Amanda was amazing - her place is a puppy dog delight, in a country-ish setting near the lake, huge fenced yard, and her little puppy Dominck becamse fast friends with my Memphis. She was so friendly and sensitive to him, very attentive, careful and kept everything safe including observing his limitations due to allergies. Her little ones were amazing with him and gave extra helpings of love and attention. He was thrilled to be there and I knew he was in safe hands. I'm so very grateful to Amanda and I'll definitely use her again when I have the need. THANK YOU AMANDA!!”

13. Dorota L.

“Dorota and her family were wonderful! My pup was so happy and tired by the end of her stay. Highly recommend :)”

14. Michelle B.
“Michelle couldn't be a more perfect companion for your pet! She is very loving and nurturing to her children as well as her pets. They are very lucky to have been adopted by Michelle, and I am very sure your pets will feel the same way!”

15. Madeline K.
“Madeline is the biggest animal lover I know! She is compassionate, caring and smart. She is level headed and dependable. I know she would treat any animal like she does her own pets!”

16. Danae & Jamie W.

“Danae and Jamie were wonderful to work with in preparation of having my 16 year old doggo stay with them. They are attentive, gentle and caring. I look forward to having Timber stay in their care again.”

17. Andrea F.
About: I've had pets since I was a kid. Most recent we've had our current dog for a little over 2 years since he was 8 weeks old. Our kids love dogs and would love a second but we just don't have room full time for another dog so pet sitting is another great way to have an extra pet for a short period. I currently work part-time so I'm home throughout the day so pets are not alone for long. Just for trips to the store or dr. appts. I have a home with an unfenced yard. we do have a runner for our dog when he likes to be outside. We have a quiet street so can do easy walks when needed. We do prefer dogs that are not too hyper as we do have kids. Our dog is crate trained when needed but has free roam in our home so he can come up and get cuddles while watching TV or chill out on his bed. If dogs are not house trained we would prefer a crate. If they are small enough we do have our crate that our dog does not use on a consistent basis. Our dog is super exitable and crazy at first but is loveable and friendly to other dogs and cats.

18. Alexis G.
“Alexis is compassionate, caring and, qualified. She takes great care to learn each pets specific needs. We have 2 senior cats, one who needs several medications and different times. Alexis handled him with love and care. I know my pets are in good hands when Alexis is here.”

19. Shayla C.

“So sweet, updated me on my pup frequently and sent pictures. Her adorable pup was a great touch too.!!!! Such a sweet person and great with my little one who is normally extremely shy ^_^ if you need to drop your pup for a few hours this is definitely the person I’d recommend.!”

20. Julianne D.
“Julianne has been taking care of her own dog Bella for a few years now and is extremely attentive to her needs all day long. Extra care was needed with multiple surgeries and Julianne was very diligent in following doctors orders, carrying the dog up and down stairs, crating her, etc. Her heart explodes when even talking about this tiny little creature. She will by far take good care of anyone's animal as she does her own.”
