“Another amazing day for our furry son at Rich’s today! As always, Rich takes the very best care of our boy, making sure he gets to have the most fun, and coming home exhausted from running and playing all day! Just another fantastic day with his best friend Rich! Thank you so much, Rich, as always!”

3. Kyle K.
“My dog, Luna, had a great day at Kyle’s. He’s got a great setup for pups to play inside and out, and he clearly understands dogs well and is able to give them great care. Luna is very nervous around new people, and Kyle was able to attend to her needs and made sure she was comfortable during her stay. Will definitely be back.”
4. Malina C.

“Highly recommend! My baby was well taken care of! Tinaclem was super friendly. When we arrived she introduced her dog with mine and brought them both to the back yard so she can get familiar with the yard and was very welcoming! Many walks and lots of pics for updates! ❤️My baby was pooped for days! She already misses Elvis! Sweet dog she has!”
7. Dylan C.
“I was in town for a wedding but needed someone to watch my dog, Kozmo, during the wedding festivities, and I’m so happy I found Dylan to dog sit for two full days! I was nervous to leave Kozmo at a boarding house or doggy day care because he’s a senior dog, who needed extra care, but Dylan was the perfect solution - he was the best dog sitter and so accommodating to Kozmo’s needs. The moment Kozmo met Dylan he was already wagging his tail and I knew right away that he was in good hands. Dylan sent updates every so often and was very responsive when I messaged him. Thank you so much, Dylan! Kozmo will miss you!”
8. Matthew B.
About: We are a family of animal lovers! Matt and Brooke have three children: May, Luca, and one Mr. Bo Jangles - our 70lb rescue mutt. Matt works from home, and Bo is a fun loving, gentle, and patient goof who gets along with everyone he's ever met (two-legged and four-legged). When Bo first joined our family, we gave him the greatest gift of all: a fenced in yard. Bo Jangles would love to share his home, his yard and his walks with new friends. Matt is self employed, and working from home affords total flexibility and customizable routines, based on individual pet's needs. Walks and playtime are already part of our family's daily life, and the more the merrier. We offer care for both cats and dogs. Matt rescued a handsome young feral cat, Bootsie, nearly twenty years ago, but sadly, Bootsie passed away in the winter of 2023. With years of doting love, Boots turned from fierce and ornery into a pretty mellow family pet. Boots even surprised us all by accepting Mr. Bo Jangles into the family fold, and occasionally even snuggling with him! Whether you have a cat or a dog, Mr. Bo Jangles will treat your pet with respect, just as Bootsie learned. A few other perks: In addition to a fenced yard, our home is ideally located for commuters, right behind West Conn's Westside Campus. Our neighborhood is in a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic, ideal for leisurely walks full of sniffing and exploring. If for any reason your pet does not enjoy Mr. Bo Jangles' overtures of friendship, we have an excellent set up to keep them separate, including separate exits to the fenced in yard. Our whole house is completely pet friendly, with no spaces that are off limits to pets. Additionally, we are a smoke free home. Both May and Luca love animals and would love to give extra pets and snuggles if your pet enjoys children, but they will also respect their independence and wishes.
9. Dorota L.
“Dorota is a very attentive and caring pet sitter. Daria is my first pup on my own and I was super nervous as to her care. Dorota always made sure she was well cared for and touched base with me to ease my nervousness, even allowing Daria to stay in her home hours on and end and dropping her back when I needed. Daria is always happy to go over. As a nurse I deal with a crazy schedule and long hours but Dorota is always willing to help. Thank you!!! I highly recommend”
10. Nicole G.
“Kiwi enjoyed staying with Nicole's family and her 3 dogs. She is a fast communicator and took care of our dog during her stay.”
11. Eileen S.
“This is my first Rover experience. I’m very happy and grateful that I choose Eileen as my sitter for my dog Leo. She provided a fun loving and caring home for my 4 legged son. Leo would go on walks and played with his new 4 legged friend Charlie. She would periodically send me text, photos and video of him. Eileen’s way of communication really help with my anxiety and worry about using this service for the first time. Eileen’s services was fantastic; above and beyond my expectations of a typical dog sitter. I had a family emergency and Eileen offered to care for Leo without having me rush back to pick him up. I would recommend Eileen to anyone looking for a quality sitter with your dog interest in mind. Leo is so happy, he is looking forward to board with Eileen and spend more time hanging out with Charlie.”
12. Andrea F.
About: I've had pets since I was a kid. Most recent we've had our current dog for a little over 2 years since he was 8 weeks old. Our kids love dogs and would love a second but we just don't have room full time for another dog so pet sitting is another great way to have an extra pet for a short period. I currently work part-time so I'm home throughout the day so pets are not alone for long. Just for trips to the store or dr. appts. I have a home with an unfenced yard. we do have a runner for our dog when he likes to be outside. We have a quiet street so can do easy walks when needed. We do prefer dogs that are not too hyper as we do have kids. Our dog is crate trained when needed but has free roam in our home so he can come up and get cuddles while watching TV or chill out on his bed. If dogs are not house trained we would prefer a crate. If they are small enough we do have our crate that our dog does not use on a consistent basis. Our dog is super exitable and crazy at first but is loveable and friendly to other dogs and cats.

14. Beth W.
“Beth is absolutely amazing! Beth took care of my pug and lab/mix like they were her own dogs. She came over and let them out, fed them, played with them, and gave them lots of love and kisses! I can’t say enough about Beth! My dogs love her. She was flexible and accommodating. I would highly recommend her and will continue to use her for all my pet sittings, walkings, and giving my dogs love when I am not home. Thank you Beth!”
15. Danae & Jamie W.
“Danae and Jamie were wonderful to work with in preparation of having my 16 year old doggo stay with them. They are attentive, gentle and caring. I look forward to having Timber stay in their care again.”
16. Amalia C.
“Amalia dog sat my retriever a couple times and I was never disappointed. He was on meds and she made to follow my instructions to the tee.”
17. Marina & David V.
“Marina and David were wonderful hosts to our puppy for the day. They were very pleasant with us, as were their children. They hit it off from the first moment, and from every indication, our boy had a wonderful time with them. They listened to our concerns as new puppy parents and graciously set him up for success and us up for peace of mind. We would definitely use them again.”
18. Jamie & Danae G.
About: I am a legend in the dog community for my unparalleled ability to find and relieve itches! Scratch or massage a dog where they can't reach and you've got a friend for life. I currently work full time in town, but between my wife and I, who is also registered on Rover, there is always someone present and accounted for to take care of your pet. My wife and I have a multi-split level house with closing doors to provide privacy for each pet. Crate boarding is optional is that is your preference. We don't currently have a fenced in yard, but we plan to soon. I currently work part-time and assist my wife Danae with our dog walking, sitting, and boarding business! I am available weekdays for walks and doggie daycare, as well as weekends during the morning and afternoon I reside in a 3 bedroom home situated on a nature preserve minutes from the center of downtown Bethel, with access to state parks and a picturesque New England downtown area. My 2 small bulldogs and wife reside with me, and the layout of our house allows us to have private luxurious boarding quarters if your pup prefers to do their own thing with one of us!
19. Tanya S.
“We felt so comfortable leaving our pups with Tanya and her family! Her communication was excellent, sending plenty of photos, and updating us on the stay. We will definitely be reaching out to Tanya again in the future!”
20. Jamie B.
“Jamie has taken care of our cat, Sophie, at least a dozen times while we have been away. She is a very responsible and loving care-giver for Sophie and has been very helpful with watching the house as well. Jamie has also taken care of our 2 year old lab who adores her. Rudy is very high energy and requires a great deal of attention. She has walked him many times and spent afternoon and evenings with him when he was still a young puppy and could not be left alone. Jamie has been a godsend for our family when we need someone to take care of our pets. I highly recommend her for any pet-sitting, dog-walking or house-sitting job.”
