“Stuart took great care of my kitties Mags and Leela while I was away for work -- feeding them, scooping their litterboxes, spending quality time with them, and sending me daily reports with photos. It really put my mind at ease to know they were safe and well cared for. I'll definitely book with Stuart through Rover again, next time I need to take a trip.”

“Rachael was incredibly responsive and was so wonderfully flexible helping me out in a last minute scramble. She was very attentive with my cats and they loved having her drop in! Would definitely recommend.”

“Kayla was amazing with our two dogs. Very sweet and patient especially since one of our dogs has anxiety and barks a lot! I’ve never left my dogs with anyone and I would choose her again!”

“Mia was excellent. She should be very proud of herself, especially with how active and vocal our larger dog was when she visited for the meet and greet. The dogs look very well taken care of and it would be an honor to book Mia again in the future. Thank you for helping our family while we were away.”

“John did a great job taking care of our pets. He was responsive, easy to talk to and genuinely cared for our crew of 2 cats and an energetic dog. We will utilize his services again soon.”

Off for the next 2 weeks will be working summer program Monday -Thursday 8-1 am very flexible with any time I’m not working. “Tinaclem was awesome! Annie is my “dogter” and I am extremely careful about where I leave her. From the beginning, I felt comfortable with Tinaclem, her family and her backyard 😍. Annie has a great time at her relaxation escape! I got daily updates, she went on walks, and kissed Tinaclem goodbye. I am so grateful I found someone trustworthy to watch her in the Danbury area … now I just need someone for my human daughter 😂. I full heartedly recommend Tinaclem! Thank you!!”

“Nicole is BY FAR the best care provider we have EVER met! She’s always prompt, polite, professional, & friendly. Her expertise & skill-sets in Veterinary Care are added benefits for piece of mind to have, and incredibly rare to find. We will only be asking her to care for our dogs & cats in the future; whether it be a single drop-in, multiple visits, or anything else. 5 stars is not enough!”

About: I’ve had a lifelong love for animals and experience caring for pets of all kinds. I previously worked at a veterinary office, have house sat for friends and family, and volunteer at my local shelter in my free time. Along with cats and dogs, I also have experience caring for chickens, ducks, and reptiles. I am available in the mornings from 6am-10am and afternoon starting at 3pm. Free all day Sundays and can make time in my schedule for all day availability on Saturdays with advanced notice. I also make my own schedule at work so i am pretty flexible. I respect animals and am very attentive to their body language and individual needs. I love spending time and playing with them, and I’m comfortable handling all pet care responsibilities, including cleaning up outdoors or maintaining litter boxes. I can also follow specific feeding schedules and dietary instructions to make sure your pet stays happy and healthy.
“Annmarie was incredibly nice and communicative while she took care of my cats. This was so appreciated while I was out of state! I felt relieved to know my pets were being so well cared for.”

About: I have 2 dogs myself that I love and care for! I am always the one to walk, feed and bath them. I love dogs I take care of them like they are my children! I also do have experience as a dog bather for over 2 years. I have a very flexible schedule, I can work mornings, and all day on the weekends. I will make sure each pet gets the best service possible. My goal is to make pets feel happy and at ease, and I care for every pet like they are my own. I will stick to their routine so the pet feels comfortable. I will follow all instructions clearly and update you so you know how your pet is doing.

About: Hi, I'm Alessandra! Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I cared for everything from turtles, a bird, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits to two Golden Retrievers. Today, I have a cat and Golden Retriever of my own, so I know firsthand just how much our pets are a part of the family. As a Rover-user myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust to care for your pet. I also know that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m always happy to tailor my care accordingly. I work remotely and am based in Newtown, which gives me a pretty flexible schedule for house sitting and/or walks and drop-ins throughout the day. I’m reliable, communicative, and mindful of the little things that make a big difference - following your routine and care instructions, respecting your home, keeping your pet comfortable & happy, and sending plenty of updates along the way. My goal is to make sure you feel just as comfortable with me caring for your pet as I’d want to feel with someone caring for mine! I’d love to meet you and your pet(s) — let’s chat and see if it’s a good fit! — Alessandra 🐾 I work remotely from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility for morning, midday, and evening walks or drop-ins. I also offer house sitting, and since I can work from almost anywhere, I’m able to spend plenty of time with your pets and keep their routine as normal as possible while you’re away. My schedule varies week to week, but I’ll always communicate my availability upfront and make sure I can accommodate your pet’s needs before accepting a booking. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s care, so my priority is making sure both you and your pet feel comfortable. I’ll take the time to understand their personality, routine, and needs, while paying attention to the little things (securing gates & doors, keeping items out of reach, etc.) that keep them safe and happy. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands and getting plenty of love and attention!
“Abigail was great with Bentley with our meet and greet. Today was the first drop in visit. Abigail let me know she was there, what they were doing, and when she was leaving. She also sent a few pictures of Bentley. It looks like Bentley had a great visit. Thank you Abigail.”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since I could walk, so caring for animals has always felt second nature. I also volunteer as a dog walker, socializer, and trainer at Danbury Animal Welfare Society, where I work with dogs of different temperaments, energy levels, and needs. My style is calm, patient, and attentive, whether your dog needs a real exercise walk, your cat needs a quiet check-in, or your older pet just needs someone gentle and consistent. I know trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big deal, so I take reliability seriously. I’ll show up when I say I will, pay attention to your pet’s routine, and send clear updates so you know they’re safe, happy, and cared for. I currently work full time, but my evenings and weekends are often free. I’m a good fit for weekend walks, evening check-ins, drop-in visits, and occasional pet care when your regular routine needs extra support. Because I value reliability, I only accept bookings I know I can show up for fully and on time. I pay close attention to each pet’s body language, comfort level, routines, and boundaries, and I never force interactions with people, dogs, or unfamiliar situations. For walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, avoid unsafe areas, and adjust the pace to the dog’s age, energy, and temperament. I’m comfortable with shy, anxious, energetic, and older pets, and I believe patience and consistency go a long way. For drop-ins, I’ll respect your home, follow your instructions carefully, check food, water, litter, doors, and gates, and send clear updates so you know how your pet is doing.
“Linda came to the rescue for a last minute work trip and helped keep my kitty in a routine. I could tell from our meet & greet that my anxious rescue loved her. Linda is an animal lover first and foremost, but also an experienced sitter who will ask all the right questions to make sure your pet is fed, played with, and cared for. She sent lots of pictures and detailed updates throughout my trip, giving me complete peace of mind. Can’t recommend her enough!!!”

About: Hi! My name is Gianna, and I offer reliable, caring pet care services for both dogs and cats. My services may include dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, potty breaks, basic cleanup, companionship, and photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I am also happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, whether that means specific feeding instructions, favorite toys, preferred walking routes, or extra cuddle time. I have about 6 years of experience caring for pets, including dogs and cats with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I understand that every pet is different. Some pets need lots of activity and attention, while others need patience, gentleness, and time to warm up. I always try to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I take that responsibility seriously. I currently work from home and also attend school online, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend more quality time with pets. Because I am home often and not commuting to an office every day, I am able to provide attentive care, check-ins, and companionship throughout the day depending on your pet’s needs. I am doing pet care as a way to make school more manageable while also doing something I genuinely enjoy. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets like they are my own. Whether your pet needs a walk, a visit, playtime, feeding, or just someone kind and dependable to keep them company, I am happy to help. My goal is to make sure your pet feels loved, safe, and comfortable while giving you peace of mind. I am currently working full-time remotely but am looking to supplement my time with animal care. I have always loved animals and it’s important to me. I take it very seriously, I want everyone to know that I will love your animal as much as mine. I will always make sure that it is a delicate process.
About: I’ve had 2-3 dogs in my house since I was in middle school. Since high school, I began dog, cat, and baby sitting for my neighbor on a regular basis and even continued while on breaks from college and after graduation. For the past 5 years, I was the primary dog, cat, and house sitter for a lovely family. My senior year of college I fostered a dog, which my family and I then went on to adopt. I have experience with dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, and ages. After helping a variety of dogs & cats in NYC, I have relocated to Connecticut, and I’m looking to help out any people and pets in my area! I currently work a hybrid schedule and am onsite on Tues-Thurs. My work allows me to take calls on walks and have the ability to take animals out for walks as needed! We currently live in a condo with easy outdoor access. I do not have any pets. I am comfortable with crate training, but my home is also flexible to let your pet(s) roam if that is preferred!

Words honestly can’t express how grateful I am to have found Diana. Axle absolutely loves her, and it shows in every update she sends. Some of the videos genuinely make me emotional — hearing her say things like “say hi to mommy” and seeing how happy and comfortable he is means everything to me. It’s such a relief knowing he’s not just being watched, but actually cared for and loved while I’m away. I fully trust her with him and that peace of mind is priceless. I couldn’t recommend her more.

Will is kind, communicative, punctual and trustworthy. He was great taking care of my pets and I wouldn’t hesitate to have him again. I felt great knowing he was taking care of them when I was far away traveling. I’d highly recommend his services to anyone in need of a great pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Bethel with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
