Jamie was great with my dogs and helped me out when I was stuck working a double at work. She is very sweet with my dogs and went above and beyond what I asked her to do! I will definitely be asking her back again!!!

Tinaclem was awesome! Annie is my “dogter” and I am extremely careful about where I leave her. From the beginning, I felt comfortable with Tinaclem, her family and her backyard 😍. Annie has a great time at her relaxation escape! I got daily updates, she went on walks, and kissed Tinaclem goodbye. I am so grateful I found someone trustworthy to watch her in the Danbury area … now I just need someone for my human daughter 😂. I full heartedly recommend Tinaclem! Thank you!!

About: Hi! My name is Gianna, and I offer reliable, caring pet care services for both dogs and cats. My services may include dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, potty breaks, basic cleanup, companionship, and photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I am also happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, whether that means specific feeding instructions, favorite toys, preferred walking routes, or extra cuddle time. I have about 6 years of experience caring for pets, including dogs and cats with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I understand that every pet is different. Some pets need lots of activity and attention, while others need patience, gentleness, and time to warm up. I always try to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I take that responsibility seriously. I currently work from home and also attend school online, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend more quality time with pets. Because I am home often and not commuting to an office every day, I am able to provide attentive care, check-ins, and companionship throughout the day depending on your pet’s needs. I am doing pet care as a way to make school more manageable while also doing something I genuinely enjoy. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets like they are my own. Whether your pet needs a walk, a visit, playtime, feeding, or just someone kind and dependable to keep them company, I am happy to help. My goal is to make sure your pet feels loved, safe, and comfortable while giving you peace of mind. I am currently working full-time remotely but am looking to supplement my time with animal care. I have always loved animals and it’s important to me. I take it very seriously, I want everyone to know that I will love your animal as much as mine. I will always make sure that it is a delicate process.

About: I’ve had 2-3 dogs in my house since I was in middle school. Since high school, I began dog, cat, and baby sitting for my neighbor on a regular basis and even continued while on breaks from college and after graduation. For the past 5 years, I was the primary dog, cat, and house sitter for a lovely family. My senior year of college I fostered a dog, which my family and I then went on to adopt. I have experience with dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, and ages. After helping a variety of dogs & cats in NYC, I have relocated to Connecticut, and I’m looking to help out any people and pets in my area! I currently work a hybrid schedule and am onsite on Tues-Thurs. My work allows me to take calls on walks and have the ability to take animals out for walks as needed! We currently live in a condo with easy outdoor access. I do not have any pets. I am comfortable with crate training, but my home is also flexible to let your pet(s) roam if that is preferred!

About: I currently own two dogs a mini Australian Shepard and a cocker spaniel. But, my family is a huge dog loving family and I have also owned labs, retrievers, and collies. I have a fenced backyard with a doggy door that holds about an acre of land and I live on a very quiet road with hiking trails across from my house that I bring my dogs into all the time! I’m work 3 times a week at Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury. I can leave during my breaks to tend to your pets. If they are staying at my home I have a doggy door and fenced in backyard. And then the remainder of the week I am free! I have a doggy door inside my home with a fenced in backyard for the 3 days I can’t be at home all day long. All other days I would love to take the dogs hiking and make sure they have a great time! I do own two dogs that are very friendly. But they can also be seperated into my basement if other dog is not friends with them. I also have a lot of experience with cat sitting my neighbors cats.

About: Hello there!  I am a trusted, protective, and adaptable EMT/pet-sitter with a lifetime of experience nurturing pets of all types, ages, and personalities. Animals are my life! I have been entrusted with furry friends of all sizes; from Saint Bernards to my own little kitten. I love to take long walks, play rousing games, as well as cuddling and grooming to make sure your furry friend is well-loved and taken care of, even when you’re not home!  No matter the length of sitting, whether 30 minutes or a week, I am sure to send fun picture updates and reports so you can feel rest assured your pet is happy in the right hands (plus I know how it feels to miss your buddy!).   I will love and care for your pets as if they were my own, of course with your direction of special needs (if necessary). You know as well as I do that each animal has their own personality, and I am sure to treat each pet according to their personality. You can feel rest assured that I am tender, yet firm and very protective of each friend I have the honor of caring for. I’m available all weekdays for drop ins, walking, or home stays, and am always a phone call away for emergency pet-sitting. I also have my own reliable car and can travel to wherever necessary. I have a special interest in animal health and medicine, and have cared for aging, sick, and injured animals at all levels of functioning. I am CPR-certified and hyper-vigilant for any and everything out of the ordinary. I take great care in following owner’s instructions to a tee, especially for pets requiring extra TLC, a close eye, or any administration of medication.  I have nurtured animals in diverse environments, from cramped city apartments to rural houses with open yards. By nature, I am very responsible and courteous, and have immense respect for your space and belongings. I am trustworthy, honest, and committed to giving your pet the best time and love possible!

About: I’ve been caring for animals for years and currently have two dogs and a hedgehog of my own 💗 Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to help with walks, feeding, check-ins, and giving their pets attention when they need it. I have experience with different personalities from energetic pups to shy or older pets, and I always take the time to understand what makes each animal comfortable. I work part-time during the week, which gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care 🐾 I’m available Sundays and around my shifts for walks, feeding, check-ins, playtime, and overnight stays. I’m happy to keep pets active with walks and play or spend quiet time with pets who just want company 🤍 I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family 🐶🤍 I’m patient with nervous pets, comfortable caring for senior pets, and experienced with following specific routines. I can administer oral medications, ear drops, and eye drops when needed, and I always make sure owners’ instructions are followed carefully.

About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds from as early as I can remember. Being the oldest of my siblings I was the first to have to take on the pet care chores, and this included both our dogs and our cats, and the other types of animals we had in our household. I have pet care experience with dogs and cats, as well as other pets too. When I moved out on my own with my previous partner (2012-2017) we had adopted three rescued cats, and I was the main administer of the diabetic cat’s insulin and late IV fluid treatments. My ex kept our cats in the split, but in 2018 I adopted my first dog completely on my own. She’s a rescue pit bull mix and now, with my current husband, she is joined by another rescued pit bull mix and a rescued cat. Last year we also adopted a red ear slider turtle off the street in Philadelphia and he now enjoys his aquatic terrarium with his guppy and pleco friends. In 2023 I briefly worked for a dog walking company in Ridgefield and was bit by one of the client’s dogs, unprovoked, and because of that I left the service after being blamed for the outburst and attack (despite telling the owners and the employer that the dog was getting increasingly aggressive with me and I wasn’t comfortable walking him anymore). It was the only time I had ever had an animal turn on me like that and it made me rethink working for a service where I wasn’t listened to or given proper protection. My husband and I have been Rover clients since we moved to Connecticut in 2023 and I am very happy to say we have never had a negative experience, which is why I have decided to lend my services to other pets and families in the area that are in need of an experienced pet caretaker. I am a professional actor so I have days that are marked off for auditions and work or rehearsals, however it is not a consistent time or place. I work throughout the Northeast, NYC, and the Mid Atlantic currently with my acting opportunities, but I am also open to short term travel as well. Because of that, my availability is very open some weeks and not as much on others, depending on what projects I am currently involved in and what the scheduling is like. I would love to spend more time your pets in my downtime and give them the attention they require, since mine are pretty saturated in it regularly. I have two dogs, which are extremely friendly and love other dogs, people, and cats! Our cat is very aloof so they wouldn’t be seen much in cases where pet sitting at my home is needed. Our yard is not fenced in but I am very accustomed to taking them out for walks, or having them leashed under my supervision in our yard. Because I live in Newtown, there are plenty of places to get some quality walks in, and we are also not far from open public dog parks either if that suits your furry friend! I also have my own car which I am more than comfortable transporting your pet in or coming to you for check ins or walks. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines so that is not a worry either, and I am diligent in making sure everyone has a great time when their friends (and our human friends) are over too!

About: I am a ER RN working at a hospital so I only work three days a week. So I have been looking at ways to fulfill my four days off by engaging in things that make me happy which of course is the affection of animals. I have experience in fostering dogs as well for months at a time. I have dog walked for my neighbors in my condo complex also. I have also fed my friends and sister’s cats as well when they are out of town. My dog recently passed away last year, so I just wanted a way to spend some quality time with other animals as well. I work three days a week and I have four days off. And I work every other Saturday and Sunday. Depending on my work schedule, I could find time for before and after my shift. I have a very high sense of safety knowing it’s my duty since my main profession is a nurse. So I will make sure pets are safe, and not in any harms way. I have two cats, I always make sure my doors are locked, bathrooms and cabinet doors are closed. During a visit, it will be my duty to make sure animals are safe before I leave. Making sure doors are and fences are closed.

About: I'm here to take the stress off your shoulders. As an animal lover, I’m dedicated to providing your pets with the best care possible. From long walks and fun playtime to plenty of good ol' fashioned love, I’ll make sure they feel right at home. I have had a dog since I was 11 and I have taken care of many dogs of various sizes and demeanors. I am free most days of the week as I have classes at night. I would love to use this time to take care of a loving animal. I make it a priority to get to know the animal and make sure there is a sense of trust. I want to ensure that both your animal and I are able to get along well. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and playing with them in the yard.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Brookfield stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Brookfield choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Brookfield with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brookfield. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
