About: **Currently only offering Cat care at this time** I grew up in a family that bred and raised show dogs and rescued cats, as well as ran a dog boarding kennel for a majority of my life. I have experience with all different types of breeds, and understand the fundamentals of behavior. I have also worked in several grooming salons and doggy daycare centers/ cat boarding facilities. I am personally a cat person, and have a lot of love for all kitties. I love interacting with them and forming bonds with them. I research cat behavior often, and am always educating myself about them. I personally believe that jobs like these require experience in the field. I am also Liscensed Veterinary Technician, who is practicing at a local clinic. I currently work full time. I work 730am to 5pm Monday - Wednesday, and 7:30 am to 7pm Thursday and Fridays. I able to do drop ins morning and evening, weekends I am usually available all day if needed. I do not offer pet care in my own home. I do care in the pet's home only, within reasonable distance to my own apartment.

“Hayley went above and beyond for our furry daughter while we were away on a long vacation! This was our first time using a sitter via Rover so we had some nerves going into the process, but Hayley was very communicative and even did an initial meet and greet with our cat before booking. We gave Hayley specific instructions for visits and followed everything down to the very last word. Her post-visit Rover cards were descriptive and came with kitty photos that reassured us but also made us miss her a lot! It was great to see that our cat felt very comfortable and warm towards her right from the beginning. At the last stay, Hayley took a picture of the remaining pet supplies so we were prepared to make any pet store stops if needed. I'm very happy with this booking and can't wait to use Hayley in the future!”

I can do dog walking, cat check ins with waste clean-up or over nights which ever you may need. I know how to administer meds to both cats and dogs. It is so important to have your furry loved ones pampered while you are away! I am retired so my availability is flexible. I also enjoy sending photos of your four legged loved one while you are away! I have also watched chickens, turtles, guinea pigs, snakes and iguanas. Looking forward to hearing from you! About: I enjoy walking a lot, hiking, being very active in general I take caring for animals. I am Olivia, I am 27 and just moved to Connecticut from NY with my husband. I have done animal care for years. I have a cat of my own who is 15, he is an odd ball, very skittish and has help me gain an understanding of how to care for cats. During my cat sitting visits, I will first say the cat's name/names and see if they seem interested in interacting with me. I will ignore them if they seem shy or until they decide they would like to interact with me. I will feed them, clean the litter and whatever else is asked of me for housesitting or care. In regards to my own pets, I keep a consistent feeding and walking schedule, for their sake and so I get used to stay consistent in keeping my dog healthy with plenty of walks and hiking. I like to greet my animals early with cuddles and pets, mid to late day I and my cat will sometimes play with a feather toy or laser. My dog like to dance with me and play tug of war or just run together in the field by the end of my road. In regards to your animals, I make sure to follow the instructions carefully and pay great attention to details. If in your home, I will always make sure to take off my shoes, not make any messes, respect your personal things, and treat your sweet babies as if they were my own! About: Animals are my life! They literally flock to me and I've always had a way with my furry friends. In my childhood my German Shepard, Flash, was the love of my life and always loved energetic play, beach runs, and playing in the dunes. I handle dogs both big and small and my current client has a tiny teacup mix, Riley, who despite his ten years of age, will play fetch for hours on end. He does have a heart condition and problem with his trachea, so being careful during walks (not letting him pull the leash too hard) and making sure he doesn't overwork his little heart are two safety concerns to always be mindful of. I also regularly dog sit Riley for weekend stay overs and make sure to stay with him in the bed so he is comfortable. Having grown up with all kinds of pets like parakeets, dogs, and guinea pigs (just to name a few) I've literally learned to "talk to the animals" and it's easy for me to familiarize with new pets and their needs very quickly. I'm very high-energy and can take your dog for an energetic walk at a comfortable based based on their health or general needs. And If you want your pup in tip top shape I can jog with them for hours and incorporate other fun games and exercises in the mix. I'm currently a full time "Rover" so my schedule is fairly open.
