“Kara is awesome and has provided great care for our elusive kitties many times. She’s our go-to kitty-sitter without question, and has been flexible and able to accommodate us on very short notice. Thanks for the great service, Kara!!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our cat sitter Rachel provided! She did a fantastic job taking care of our two cats while we were away. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in loving and capable hands. She kept us updated, was attentive to their needs, and went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable and happy. Because of her, we were able to truly enjoy our vacation without worry. We are so grateful for her and will absolutely be reaching out again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Thanks Rich for taking such good care of our cats! Not only was Richard attentive and caring with our cats, but he also noticed a window we had left partially open by accident and let us know right away! Will definitely be rebooking in the future.”

“Susan is the best! She’s a real dog lover. She took care of our two dogs while we were out all day and night attending a wedding. Susan stopped by twice to feed and walk both dogs. The dogs had to be taken care of separately and Susan was able to care of everything! She even made time to come over to meet both dogs the day before. She also sent videos and photos of the dogs when she was over!”

“Anne was super easy to work with and did a great job checking in my cats while I was away! She sent pictures and even managed to coax out my anxious cat which I really did not expect at all. She did some playing with my friendlier girl and made sure all their needs were taken care of. I really appreciate having her stop in and I know that the next time I need a sitter I'll book Anne again! Thank you!”
About: BEWARE: some clients have reported duplicate profiles of this account. THIS IS MY ONLY ONE. Hi there! I’m a loving and adventurous dog sitter who believes every pup deserves care, attention, and a good dose of playtime. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, so I know firsthand how much love (and patience!) goes into training, handling, and understanding their unique personalities — especially during those early years. As someone who loves being outdoors, you’ll often find me exploring nature trails, parks, and neighborhoods — always with a furry friend by my side. I’m very active and make it a goal to hit at least 10,000 steps a day, so your pup can expect quality walks ranging anywhere from 30 to 120 minutes, full of fresh air, exercise, and plenty of tail wags! I enjoy connecting with families from all walks of life and truly value building trusting, long-term relationships so if you’re looking for consistent exercise and a loyal best friend for your fur babies, I’m your girl! I’m pretty flexible! I have an open and flexible schedule. I can do overnights, and long hours of catering to your pet if need be so they don’t get lonely. Aside from a quality walk, sunshine, fresh air and play time, I always ensure they’re taken care of with food, water, meds (if needed) and any requests the owner has I can help with.
About: I have been a dog and cat owner my whole life. I’ve been around and taken care of small, medium and large dogs as well as cats. Friends and family members have trusted me to take care of their fur babies. I work remotely so my schedule is very flexible - I’m able to take frequent walks and potty breaks throughout the day. I love animals. I check on them frequently as well as take them on walks as needed. I’m trustable and reliable. I will call or text if needed
“Caroline is the absolute best. Another sitter cancelled last minute and she was able to step in. She sent SO many pictures and videos of our cats which we loved, we always worry when we’re away and knew after the first day that they were in good hands. She was super communicative and overall the exact type of sitter we’d want. We will absolutely be using her again!”

About: I am a rescuer. Animals are my passion and life’s work. I am used to all type of dogs in various settings. I listen to their cues and understand their wants and needs. I am only gone around 4 hours a day for work. So that’s the max amount of time your pet will be left alone at one time I have a room dedicated to cats in my home. They have lots of toys and tunnels and cat trees to play with. I also have extensive experience with dogs of all types as I run a rescue
About: My dog Burk passed away from cancer about two years ago. I took him in as an older dog, around eight, and had a few wonderful years with him. I am not yet ready to form that connection with a dog of my own again. However, I have had dogs my whole life, and the house feels empty without one here. I have been regularly trusted with family dogs since a young age. I am also experienced with older dogs and the extra care they may require, having had my own experience with Burk. Do have experience with crate-trained pets, but also don't mind having ones without this experience. I also have experience with pits and other bully breeds, and they are definitely welcome! Your little family member will receive plenty of pets and attention and will be well cared for throughout their stay! I am currently working part-time as a hockey coach. The most I would be gone from the house is four, maybe five hours at a time. These more extended periods typically occur on Monday and Tuesday evenings, and occasionally on a weekend day. This would be the maximum amount of alone time. I live alone, but a partner may be able to help break up this time. I have a fenced-in yard, but it's currently under repair. Leashed walks would be necessary for the moment. There is both a front and a back yard, both with plenty of space to roam and get some fresh air. I live in a fairly roomy house with more than enough space for most pets. Dogs are more than welcome on couches and beds, but will respect owners' wishes of not allowing them on.
About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds from as early as I can remember. Being the oldest of my siblings I was the first to have to take on the pet care chores, and this included both our dogs and our cats, and the other types of animals we had in our household. I have pet care experience with dogs and cats, as well as other pets too. When I moved out on my own with my previous partner (2012-2017) we had adopted three rescued cats, and I was the main administer of the diabetic cat’s insulin and late IV fluid treatments. My ex kept our cats in the split, but in 2018 I adopted my first dog completely on my own. She’s a rescue pit bull mix and now, with my current husband, she is joined by another rescued pit bull mix and a rescued cat. Last year we also adopted a red ear slider turtle off the street in Philadelphia and he now enjoys his aquatic terrarium with his guppy and pleco friends. In 2023 I briefly worked for a dog walking company in Ridgefield and was bit by one of the client’s dogs, unprovoked, and because of that I left the service after being blamed for the outburst and attack (despite telling the owners and the employer that the dog was getting increasingly aggressive with me and I wasn’t comfortable walking him anymore). It was the only time I had ever had an animal turn on me like that and it made me rethink working for a service where I wasn’t listened to or given proper protection. My husband and I have been Rover clients since we moved to Connecticut in 2023 and I am very happy to say we have never had a negative experience, which is why I have decided to lend my services to other pets and families in the area that are in need of an experienced pet caretaker. I am a professional actor so I have days that are marked off for auditions and work or rehearsals, however it is not a consistent time or place. I work throughout the Northeast, NYC, and the Mid Atlantic currently with my acting opportunities, but I am also open to short term travel as well. Because of that, my availability is very open some weeks and not as much on others, depending on what projects I am currently involved in and what the scheduling is like. I would love to spend more time your pets in my downtime and give them the attention they require, since mine are pretty saturated in it regularly. I have two dogs, which are extremely friendly and love other dogs, people, and cats! Our cat is very aloof so they wouldn’t be seen much in cases where pet sitting at my home is needed. Our yard is not fenced in but I am very accustomed to taking them out for walks, or having them leashed under my supervision in our yard. Because I live in Newtown, there are plenty of places to get some quality walks in, and we are also not far from open public dog parks either if that suits your furry friend! I also have my own car which I am more than comfortable transporting your pet in or coming to you for check ins or walks. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines so that is not a worry either, and I am diligent in making sure everyone has a great time when their friends (and our human friends) are over too!
About: There are a lot of animals i have taken care over the years, consisting of the two older dogs for my family, my dads younger dog as well as my girlfriends 1 and half year old dog. I frequently walk my neighbors dog when he goes away for the weekend I work full time during the week but am available most days after 5:30. During the weekend Im very flexible and can do anytime as long as I don't have a ski trip planned. :) I have two dogs at home who I care for every day, wether that be taking them for walk around the neighborhood or trying to play with them. I also care for my dads and girl friends dog who are much younger and we'll go on hikes or go to a dog park to enjoy the open space.
