About: I recently graduated from Harcum college In PA with a degree in veterinary nursing and it was definitely a long ride but all worth it! I had a childhood cat named Sophie since I was born. We grew up together, she was a calico and she was definitely the reason I knew I wanted to work with animals because I enjoyed helping them so much. She passed at 20 years old right before I left for college and was my motivation through all of it. I am beyond grateful for my girl and understand the amount of love and connection an owner can have with there baby. About: I’ve taken care of family cats since the age of 5 and when I started living on my own with my previous partner we had three rescued cats together. One of these cats developed diabetes and needed daily insulin shots, and then eventually needed fluid IVs in which I had to learn to take care of since my ex wasn’t okay with the procedure. After our split (2012-2017), he took the cats, but in 2021 when my now-husband, we adopted a rescue cat with a shortened tail and have been dog and cat people ever since! Thankfully I have yet to need to use my medication administering skills on our cat, but we do a very good job at keeping him healthy and happy so it is less likely he will develop diabetes later in his life.

About: Growing up my family always had a dog. Over the years we have had a total of three. I am lucky to be a dog dad myself now of my beautiful rescue Lola. Having her as a few month old puppy, my fiancée and I were able to train her so I do have experience and patience with puppies, along with older dogs as well. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I can do morning or evening visits or walks depending on what works for you and your pet! What I find works best is to meet with the dog and owner before hand to find out what kind of routine works best for them, what toys they like to play with, favorite treats ect. About: I have 2 labs (1 lab German Shepard mix and 1 lab), who love to play and romp around, as well as the finer things in life like relaxation.My working schedule allows me to work from home full time, huge plus for the pups and kiddos. We travel about once a year for 2 weeks, and mostly spend our time in town as our boys do sports. I was a dog walker and sitter for 2 years in college, had a dog growing up as a child and I’ve rescued and adopted 5 pups with my husband. Since I'm use to the early mornings, walking the fur babies early is not a problem. I believe a tired dog is a happy dog and I try to make sure they get as much play time and attention as needed. Treating the fur babies as family members, means they have their beds, own couch, toys and free range in our house.

I studied to be a vet tech and worked for places such as the Animal Medical Center in NYC then eventually became a farmer so I'm capable of helping those in need of Physical Therapy, medication from syringe to pills, and able to notice when a pet is ill and needs additional care. I am also a foster mom for dogs via Paws Rescue League and have placed more than a dozen dogs in the last 2 years. Needless to say I love animals and able to provide your dog (or cat) with the best of care. I work from home at my farm. I rarely vacation so I am home all day and able to have pets in and around my home at all times. Expect every morning that your dog will be taken to the dog park, have breakfast, and will play with other dogs on the farm all day until bedtime. If your dog has INVISIBLE FENCE brand collars we can accommodate them to free roam. I have a farm with two dog friendly dogs. My farms has fenced and gated areas, but I normally let my dogs play outside all day in nice weather. If your dog has good at recall they'll be allowed off leash, but if not they'll have a scheduled day that will include swimming, hikes and lots of pets. If you have a pet that is senior and prefers naps over playtime. We have a specially made dog room with a TV and air conditioning.

About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds from as early as I can remember. Being the oldest of my siblings I was the first to have to take on the pet care chores, and this included both our dogs and our cats, and the other types of animals we had in our household. I have pet care experience with dogs and cats, as well as other pets too. When I moved out on my own with my previous partner (2012-2017) we had adopted three rescued cats, and I was the main administer of the diabetic cat’s insulin and late IV fluid treatments. My ex kept our cats in the split, but in 2018 I adopted my first dog completely on my own. She’s a rescue pit bull mix and now, with my current husband, she is joined by another rescued pit bull mix and a rescued cat. Last year we also adopted a red ear slider turtle off the street in Philadelphia and he now enjoys his aquatic terrarium with his guppy and pleco friends. In 2023 I briefly worked for a dog walking company in Ridgefield and was bit by one of the client’s dogs, unprovoked, and because of that I left the service after being blamed for the outburst and attack (despite telling the owners and the employer that the dog was getting increasingly aggressive with me and I wasn’t comfortable walking him anymore). It was the only time I had ever had an animal turn on me like that and it made me rethink working for a service where I wasn’t listened to or given proper protection. My husband and I have been Rover clients since we moved to Connecticut in 2023 and I am very happy to say we have never had a negative experience, which is why I have decided to lend my services to other pets and families in the area that are in need of an experienced pet caretaker. I am a professional actor so I have days that are marked off for auditions and work or rehearsals, however it is not a consistent time or place. I work throughout the Northeast, NYC, and the Mid Atlantic currently with my acting opportunities, but I am also open to short term travel as well. Because of that, my availability is very open some weeks and not as much on others, depending on what projects I am currently involved in and what the scheduling is like. I would love to spend more time your pets in my downtime and give them the attention they require, since mine are pretty saturated in it regularly. I have two dogs, which are extremely friendly and love other dogs, people, and cats! Our cat is very aloof so they wouldn’t be seen much in cases where pet sitting at my home is needed. Our yard is not fenced in but I am very accustomed to taking them out for walks, or having them leashed under my supervision in our yard. Because I live in Newtown, there are plenty of places to get some quality walks in, and we are also not far from open public dog parks either if that suits your furry friend! I also have my own car which I am more than comfortable transporting your pet in or coming to you for check ins or walks. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines so that is not a worry either, and I am diligent in making sure everyone has a great time when their friends (and our human friends) are over too!
About: no matter what animal, I am looking forward to helping provide all the love, attention, and care they will need while you are away. I Grew up with many different pets and i’ve always had a big role in caring for them. From dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and chickens, to turtles, fish, lizards and spiders i can handle it! I recently moved to indiana, but i am back visiting my family in Connecticut for the summer! I will need to know three weeks in advance for house sitting requests so i can plan my schedule. I am also available for same day dog walking. I love to exercise and I enjoy taking dogs on walks around the addition I live in. I have a trail in my back yard that leads eventually to a small lake that is my usual route I take. I also have a large backyard I run around with pups to get their energy out. About: I am a semi retired veterinary assistant with nearly 20 years professional experience and a passion for caring for animals. As a life long pet owner myself, I know how hard and stressful it can be to leave your pets at home. I appreciate and respect the trust that every owner puts in me when they contact me to care for their animal. I can give medications if needed, including injections. Also have worked in shelters and volunteer at rescues. I have taken care of senior dogs and cats. Feeding, walking, playing or if they have any special needs is not a problem. I have a flexible schedule and open to working with you to arrange drop in visits. Mid morning through later afternoons are open for me. If you need another time, just let me know. I'm happy to do whatever your pets need, whether they want to play, walk or just hang out. If they are a little shy and need time to get used to me is totally understandable, I will follow their cues. I will take my time to learn what they need and adapt to them. The goal is always to keep them as stress free as possible.
About: I have 2 labs (1 lab German Shepard mix and 1 lab), who love to play and romp around, as well as the finer things in life like relaxation.My working schedule allows me to work from home full time, huge plus for the pups and kiddos. We travel about once a year for 2 weeks, and mostly spend our time in town as our boys do sports. I was a dog walker and sitter for 2 years in college, had a dog growing up as a child and I’ve rescued and adopted 5 pups with my husband. Since I'm use to the early mornings, walking the fur babies early is not a problem. I believe a tired dog is a happy dog and I try to make sure they get as much play time and attention as needed. Treating the fur babies as family members, means they have their beds, own couch, toys and free range in our house.
About: I am a very active person i love being out side and going on runs or just simply going on walks. I wake up early everyday and usually go on runs and take my little puppy on walks. I live in a nice area close to town. I love all types of dogs and my schedule is very flexible being a realtor so i am always able to do walks at all times! would love to have overnight stay and would give extra love to all the dogs! I am a full time realtor so my schedule is made by me and can be very flexible. I can be pretty open with my hours. I have a fenced in yard and also own a duplex so I can house different dogs upstairs or separate if need be. I absolutely love dogs and cats so any pet will feel right at home with my care.
About: Growing up my family always had a dog. Over the years we have had a total of three. I am lucky to be a dog dad myself now of my beautiful rescue Lola. Having her as a few month old puppy, my fiancée and I were able to train her so I do have experience and patience with puppies, along with older dogs as well. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I can do morning or evening visits or walks depending on what works for you and your pet! What I find works best is to meet with the dog and owner before hand to find out what kind of routine works best for them, what toys they like to play with, favorite treats ect. It’s all about making the owner feel comfortable and to make sure their pet is comfortable as well!
