About: I’m a teacher, lifelong animal lover, and proud pet owner who understands how important it is to feel confident leaving your pets in someone else's care. I treat every animal like they're my own: with patience, attention, and lots of care. I'm detail-oriented, reliable, and always make safety a priority (yes, I'm the person who triple-checks the door!). While this is my first time offering pet care services professionally, I've been trusted for years by family, friends, and neighbors to care for their cats and dogs. I know peace of mind matters, and I'll do everything I can to make both you and your pets feel comfortable and cared for. During the summer I have lots of flexibility, with the exception of the first week of August when I’ll be on vacation. As the school year begins toward the end of August, my availability will be before 7:30 AM and after 3:00 PM. If you need someone to care for your pets, feel free to reach out or keep me in mind! I’m happy to offer boarding in my home, but I like to be upfront about a few things so you can decide what’s best for your pet. I have a dog who gets very excited whenever he sees other dogs. He’s friendly, but his excitement can sometimes be overwhelming or intimidating, even if the dogs are separated by a gate or in different areas of the house. I also have a cat, but she typically keeps to herself and will simply hide when visitors are around. I don’t have a fenced yard, so all outdoor time is on a leash, just as it is for my own dog. With those things in mind, I’ll do everything I can to provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for your pet. If your pet would be more comfortable staying in their own home, I’m more than happy to provide drop-in visits or house sitting there as well!

About: Since childhood, I’ve owned multiple dog breeds, cats, and rabbits. I have experience in working with many different sized animals, many different breeds, and animals that can be more challenging. I volunteer in an animal assisted therapy program that caters to children with special needs, in addition to my career as a hairstylist. 🐶 🦮 🐾 I will be caring for your animals in your home, walking them outside in your neighborhood, or at a local park if you’re comfortable.
